First , take photos of everything they gave you and you give them because they will try to sell you insurance and bullshit that you don't need , I walked in and asked to rent a cargo van Without even asking me for drivers license or anything she says that u have to get the insurance from us because urs don't cover or u can't rent the truck witch I did the same thing to another location and everything was simple rent the wan for the day returned back and all set , , the cars fuel was 1/2 and in the paper she gave me shoes 5/8 off the tank ,

Larry H.When explaining after hours return to customer make sure they know to do it on their mobile device in the parking lot because of location GPS. This was not explained to me so I left and could not complete process at home.
Julio D.They had my trailer waiting for me. Use them 3 or so times a year for local festivals. Just wish I could stand up (I'm 5'10") in the trailer instead of having to bend over while loading and unloading. This is much cheaper than owning my own trailer.

I asked to speak with their manager in order to pay kudos to them for their great attitudes and strong work ethic. Only to learn they had No manager over seeing their work day. Corporate should acknowledge AND celebrate having these two fine employees on their team! They are truly an asset for your organization. Don't let these young men get grabbed up by another employer. I'm “Old School†when it comes to customer service. These 2 gentlemen checked ALL the boxes!!!

Dani H.I was charged for not returning with sufficient gas, but I actually filled up MORE than I left with and have photos with receipt to prove it. After seeing the incorrect amount charged to my credit card within hours of the return, I called the location and spoke to two people (I believe second was a manager). The second person told me they would be escalating as they could not see the receipt, but would follow up to confirm what is happening and fix the situation. No follow up was provided, so I called again in two days and spoke to another individual that had no knowledge of what I was told by the "manager" but then told me he saw the error and was refunding the service and fuels charges since it was returned with more gas and could confirm in his own photos. I have not yet received the refund, but this type of customer service is incredibly frustrating. UHaul should just require people to return all trucks with full tanks so that when the next person gets them, they have to return them full and minimize this guessing game, the opportunity for error, and cheating your customers.

LUDY D.THE CUSTOME SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP MY TRUCK AT 830 AND EVEN THOUGH THE GUY WAS THERE HE WAS RUDE AND SAID THEY DONT OPEN TILL 9 SO I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TILL THEY OPEN AND WOULD NOT HELP ME EVEN THOUGH I HAD MY RESERVATION ONLINE BUT THEY HAD LOCKED ME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND CHANGED MY LOCATION LAST MINUTE I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THEY HAVE MESSED UP MY MOVING

I have rented perhaps 5 times over the last 5 years from this site.

ron W.The website for after hour returns uhaul.com/share does not work when you enter the contract number. you have to create an account and then you can return which is stupid to give an option that doesn't work. Also - note that they do not rent a trailer hitch or electrical converter for trailers. I was told it was because "people didn't return them." If someone doesn't return them just charge them just like you would for not returning the trailer. Instead they make you buy something you will never use again - so just go online or another store and buy them cheaper beforehand.

When I showed up in person to sign the papers, I was told the unit I chose did not exist and that there were no longer any main floor units available. I would not have signed had I known it would be on the second floor, and it was very inconvenient to access my things without needing someone to come along with me to assist.

I spoke to someone online was told my December payment was over due need to pay around 250. Curicumstance I could not drive there I spoke to Bithany Manager at U Hall Rochester Rd and Tienken, she waived the late fee, gave her my Visa debit card # it went through. Also authorized every month, to take my rent out. Brittany went above and beyond to help me. Would I recommend U Hall at this location??? Absolutely

Aaron K. | Online Move InI used to work for Uhaul so this will be biased. The basic service was fine. There's too much swiping and card reading and doors for my taste, but I get it. The counter is where the break is and always will be. No one knew how to use the door device, it took some time to figure out if it was the right one and if it even worked or not. Hire people and pay them accordingly so someone can be at the counter at all times and people can be out in the lot at the same time helping people. You guys never paid people for the amount of work you dump on them, and let them unionize if they want to Joe. I was offered a job if I wanted it, but really would not want to work for such a megalomaniacal greedy behemoth where the shareholders are more important than the workers. Sadly it is how all future corporations will be. Tell Bezos the same thing at your next rich guy meeting. I went down the road to a more economical storage facility in the end.

Within a reasonable amount of time I received a return call, stating they had made an error and corrected it. However, just waiting for my december payment to be reinstated as I paid 2 months in advance. Other than that, top notch customer service. I will stay on top of the correction to make sure it's done.

It is better to have multiple entrance doors to the buildings as for example for someone like me whose unit was located at the end of the hallway that was very difficult and a long way to access my unit through the only available door. Brenda E. | Premières impressionsBethany I was there last night at closing. The poor woman who helped me either needs a lot of training or a new career. It took like 45 mins to rent the unit. That was insane. Then she didn't tell me that ther was no elevator, didn't tell me about the 2 levels of the price difference or there was apparently a free lock inside the unit after I bought one. Finding the zip tie on the lock was another unpleasant surprise since I flew in that morning and can't carry a pocket knife. Luckily I had a nail clipper in my backpack. The alarm siren went off several time. Never did figure out what to do with the card key Since I didn't need it to get in. Overall if was a horrible experience. The only good thing was you were open till 7. You should also put a camera and remote access system on your overhead door to rescue stupid people who are there past 10 instead of telling them they will just be stuck like you told me.
