We were moving our stored materials from this facility because of the inability to access it as needed and increasing costs. The vehicle has the following problems. 1. Either the fuel gage is in error or it has a massive fuel leak. 2. As I drove it away from the place of rental I noticed the fuel gage was reading 3/4 full. I drove it 42 mi. and put 5 gal in it a 1/2 mi from the point of rental. You indicate it to be 1/2 full on return and charged me for 8 gal. This means that the truck either got 3,3 mpg or it was not full when it was handed over to me. This vehicle normally gets 10 to 12 mpg. At 8 gal to fill it up means that it only has a 16 gal tank with a range of less than 100 mi between refills. Someone at Uhaul doesn't know how to do their math or they think that the customers are all stupid. Nice try-/- No At-A-Boy.William D.

The plac was dirty, they kept raising the rent to pay for up keep and maintenance supposedly but definitely couldn't tell it was being used for that. No one contacted me to let me know my vehicle was ready. It stayed overnight b/c I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I called multiple times and the off sight representatives couldn't get a hold of anyone either. Didn't have a 20 ft truck available ,where I made reservation the guy didn't type 20 but 15 shawn tried to find one in a nearest location found one but 2hrs later we received a call saying wouldn't be one available in the whole state ridiculous ,even tho can't complain shawn was so helpful and patience with my elderly parents ,location was not what I expected but shawn a great job we ended renting a trailer,too. The unit size promised was not available AND the service person thought a 10*10*6 would hold the contents of a 20-foot truck. Only after we loaded the contents partially into the measly10-10-6 did we realize that the counter person had no idea how much the truck could hold when she stated that it was large enough. We should have been provided the 10*10*10 arranged for or we should have been given 2 10*10*6 for the price of the 10*10*10. I am 6 foot 5 inches tall and I cannot count the times I bashed my head on the sprinkle in the middle of the unit. That alone would warrant a 10*10*10.Mark L. | Premières impressions

I picked up and returned my u-box on 7/29. of course i scheduled in advance (2 days) but it was not ready when i arrived. I had to wait 30 minutes. I returned the u-box on 7/29. The GM Skyler Zaage, said everything was good. Of course it wasn't. i was charged on 8/12 a storage fee for the ubox even though i returned it. of course nobody answers the phone at the location. after numerous calls to uhaul, i finally spoke to someone in tulsa. They told me Skyler Zaage would contact me to clear up the charge. Of course Skyler Zaage never contacted me she just refunded the money. On September 25th, i get a lien notice from Skyler Zaage for the same storage unit i closed on 7/29. Again i had to make a call to the Tulsa team (spoke to Kelly Madden who has been the only helpful knowledgeable person). He closed the account. Had Skyler Zaage actually done her job i would not had to waste my time calling over and over while dealing with rude customer service that tried to blame me for this issue. Skyler Zaage is too busy goofing off to do the right thing. How she was made a GM is beyond me. I will never use U-haul in my life. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, i will reach out to attorney to stop the harassment.Guy M.

When I arrived at pickup location and entered the store, there was young kids (under 12yrs) bolting some equipment together. After I did paperwork, I was handed the key and told to go out into the lot and find the truck myself. The staff was fantastic and tried their best. However, the design of the facility is awful and embarrassing. There is ONE elevator. There is ONE entrance. There is ONE set of stairs. For a facility that size there should be at least two of each at opposite sides and/or corners. Especially when, like me, a customer is on the top split level and the one elevator is BROKEN and won't be fixed until the following day. Considering I had rented the unit that day because I HAD to be moved THAT day, three flights of stairs with only a hand truck (which then had to be pushed literally to the opposite side of the stairs) is unbelievably stupid design. Luckily the staff understood the insanity of what my move had become and got creative with two units on the ground floor. They provided me the units for the same price as my initial top split level unit. If I had not been under such a tight time frame, I would have taken my business elsewhere immediately. Elevator in facility is broken and according to Google review has been for awhile. Temperature control isn't great as it was 90 degrees inside and the poster reads "Kept between 45 and 80!", we have temperature sensitive electronics so this is an issue if not addressed. Tried to switch to a unit on a lower floor but got to the door and found it was locked and had a red tag stating the last person hadn't paid. Was told we would be switched back to our original unit but when we came back with our stuff two days later and opened the original unit, the alarm was set off because they had never switched us back. Only one set of move in doors. The parking lot leading to those doors was chaotic with trucks, trailers and U boxes everywhere. I literally couldn't get to the door to unload my truck when I informed an employee of this I was told to "just get in where I could." I got a refund and went to another storage facility. I want to preface my negative remarks by noting that the check-in process at the start of my unit rental was actually very pleasant, all things considered. I saw first-hand the kind of rude and nasty treatment that poor customers can fling at employees, and I commend Skyler for handling a situation with an irate and vulgar customer with professionalism. That said, my experience trying to end my rental suggests to me that this facility has major problems, and I worry that Skyler, as the facility's manager, bears the responsibility. On May 31st, I emptied my unit and prepared to close out my rental. The line at the facility was very long that day, so I initiated the checkout through the U-Haul website. Part of this process called for the uploading of several photos (showing the empty, clean unit, the unit's number, the unit's latch, and so on), but unfortunately the website only allowed me to upload a single image. I picked the best photo available and uploaded that. When I called U-Haul to follow-up, I received an automated message telling me that my wait time would be longer than 60 minutes. With that in mind, I decided to trust in the online check-out process and assumed that my rental would be closed out within a few days. Instead, I started receiving reminders that an upcoming payment would be due. Anytime I tried to call the Rogers facility directly, I was redirected to U-Haul's national number. (I was later told by customer service reps and managers at other U-Haul facilities that the Rogers facility was likely redirecting all calls so as not to have to field calls themselves.) As before, my wait time was always extremely long -- 30 minutes at a minimum, and in one case, more than 2 hours. Every time I spoke to a customer service rep, I was told that my request to close out would be emailed to Skyler. In one case, a rep tried to reach Skyler by cell phone but received a message stating that Skyler's voicemail inbox was full. I eventually began receiving notices that late fees had been applied to my account, even though I had submitted my close-out request weeks before the end of my last pay period. Again, when I tried to reach the Rogers facility directly, I was redirected to the national customer service number and asked to wait for long periods of time to speak to a real person. Eventually a customer service rep gave me Skyler's cell phone number, which he said I had the OK to call or text. I experienced the same "this voicemail inbox is full and not accepting messages" recording; when I tried the number later in the day, I was redirected to that message quickly, suggesting the person on the other end was actively and purposefully rejecting my call. No one responded to my texts. Eventually I was able to find a time to make the 35-minute drive up to Rogers and caught the facility at a slow period. There was no one working the customer service desk at 2:30 p.m. that day, but I decided to wait; eventually, a woman who was either physically impaired or under the influence of unknown substances asked me if she could help me, and was able to close out my account and waive all remaining fees. In the end, this facility let an empty unit remain unlocked for almost two weeks, because its management is no longer answering phone calls, checking voicemails or emails, or responding to customers. If Skyler Zaage is still working at this facility, she is seemingly no longer keeping up with things. It may be that she is overwhelmed--I'm sure that it's hard to find and keep a full staff these days--but it's affecting customers. I have no desire to rent a unit or a truck from this facility anytime soon, and I will actively steer family and friends away from going there.Joe A. | Expérience générale

I had reserved storage in Springdale and reserved a truck in ozark. When I picked the truck up, the storage building was "no longer available". So I had to reserve a different unit in Roger's, but still had to drive back to springdale to drop off the truck which put me over the milage. Hi I have a couple of issues with the referenced storage contract. First: We arrived at the UHaul on 8th Street in Rogers, AR on May28. Our plan was to unload the furnishing from the UHaul truck that we had rented into the storage unit that we had reserved in Rogers. Upon arrival, we discovered that the elevator did not work. Our unit was on the 2nd floor. As you can imagine, the task of moving furnishings from the truck to storage was increased exponentially. When my wife and I - who are both in our mid sixties - originally decided to help our daughter, we knew it would be a hard job, but we felt sure we were up to it. Had we known we would be required to: Load carts, Move loaded carts inside, Unload carts, Carry items one-by-one up two flights of stairs, Load carts again, Move loaded carts to storage unit, Unload carts again - we no doubt would have found a storage facility with working elevators. I'm not one to ask for something like this but it would seem that some compensation is in order. As we will be moving the furnishings from storage to our daughter's apartment, I respectfully and humbly request that you consider something in the way of moving labor. Second: Also upon arrival at the 8th Street UHaul storage, we asked if we could possibly get a larger unit. The lady at the desk (sorry, did not get her name) suggested that we get 2 units because she believed that the wider and less deep units that she suggested were easier to get things in and out of. That made sense to me but I specifically told her that I didn't want to be charged for 2 units - otherwise I would just get one unit that equaled the size of the 2 units that she suggested. We would just deal with the more difficult access of the one unit. SHE ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD ONLY BE CHARGED AS IF IT WAS ONE UNIT. Now I see that I will be billed for 2 units. I want to put in a big word of thanks to Skyler Zaage. When I arrived at the location on Thursday morning, Skyler was dealing with an angry customer whose attitude and language became more and more disrespectful and inappropriate over the course of several minutes. When I attempted to intervene by asking the customer to adjust his tone, he began berating me with vulgarities and threats. Skyler maintained composure through all of this, eventually asking the customer to leave, which he did. Often, the large sliding doors weren't unlocked which was inconvenient. I tried using the call button several times to talk to the office but it wasn't answered. I drove around and they walked to unlock but I think that should be done without customers asking. Yesterday was our final visit and the doors were still locked at 12:00. I was told that I would have access to my unit up until 10 pm and I have yet to be able to get into it after 7 pm. I have called and called and no one has ever called me back from the location to get this fixed. I work long hours and can never get up there in person to get it fixed. Very very frustrating to not be able to reach the GM even after his number is posted everywhere. He is a very sweet person to deal with just need everything fixed.Tanya L. | Online Move In

Josh helped me select the right unit, unit location and made a great recommendation using the movinghelp.com app to get people to help unload the truck. I ended up using a company called Fresh Start and they did a great job. They showed up 15 minutes early. He made sure I could get them close together with close access to the elevator. Susana (I think that was her name. She has red hair and is very friendly) did a great job checking my rental in and answered my questions about the facility. Facility was clean. Staff was unhelpful and not at all confident in their answers/actions. The first 3 months i got charged late fees because whoever did the billing didn't know how to set up auto draft. Finally got that figured out. As I was cleaning out my storage building and terminating my contract staff was unwilling to listen. I told them I was moving out and the guy at the desk said clean out your room and we will come check you out. I cleaned out my room and called on the intercom, that guy asked me 3 times if I had cleaned out my room then said they didn't need to check me out and I had to go back up front. The large sliding door is locked around 6:00pm. I understand that. But I arrived to unload after 8:00pm and could only access storage thru a standard door. It is ridiculous that you pay $400 for uhaul and then you have to buy specific locks that are conveniently located at the check out counter. I felt that uhaul was a money trap from the time we began. There's a sign that says we have access until 10pm but I am here at 8:16 pm and have no access. I have tried calling and texting the site manager for help atleast 10 times and even had U-Haul customer service try to get ahold of him. We were told that we would have a 10x20, but it ended up that we were given two 10x10's. Good thing we didn't have anything longer than 10 feet to store. Would be nice if what you were getting was made clear at the onset of the process, not when we checked in that day. We were also unaware (until check-in) that we would be having to go up to the second floor with all of our things. That wasn't fun. However, on your behalf, there were carts to use and the elevator was big enough for 4 carts at a time, so that was nice. In hind sight, we would have much preferred to know that we were getting a unit on the ground floor, or at least had the opportunity to request one. So while everyone was nice, the facilities were clean and well lit, the carts were provided...having direct access (without going through sliding glass doors and up/down elevators for every trip) would have made it much better for us.Joanna S. | Premières impressions
We recently moved to Arkansas, and the month of storage here was invaluable. We finally got moved in to a new house and got our storage unit cleared out, but there was a hiccup when I called to cancel our storage unit, and we were billed for another month, plus a late fee. I came in and talked to someone and the issue was cleared up immediately, and I didn't have to pay anything extra. The facility is good. But we had a couple of issues with the alarm of the building going on during the night which is annoying and can damage hearing. We were not able to acomplish what we needed to do when we were putting things in the storage and then months later when were trying to move out we had issues with the elevator and no one was able to give us a time frame of when it was going to be fixed. We lost plenty of time getting things out through the stairs Instead. I won't use their services in the future because I dont really know what to expect.Leticia R. | Expérience générale
