This the 2nd time I have used this location the first time there was a problem with keeping the trailer additional days. And it took to long to check it out. Your 6 foot trailer only has a 4.5' ramp, so it didn't work for my 5 foot wide item. Total waste of waiting 30 minutes in line, with no air conditioning.

The kid and helpful staff at this location do their best. My comment is for the UHAUL corp that still using such a cumbersome system and not interested to be efficient and realistic in its process after these many years. Renting an airplane or car or other hi-tech eqp. is more simpler and efficient than Uhaul which is still like 20 years ago.

Long wait to pick up my trailer. Staff were very helpful and working hard to keep up. I didn't know about checking in on line until I saw the email about it while waiting in line - it would have been helpful to be informed about it when I made the reservation (by phone). Might not be practical but higher one or two employees to work just the 2-3 hour saturday morning rush?

The 26 foot truck had a damaged ramp. It set me back 4 hours on the move waiting for it to be repaird. Those 4 hours I still had to pay the guys I had hired to help with the move. I came in under mileage and well over the amount of gas I picked it up with and they would not refund me the mileage I over paid for. If I would have been over mileage they would have charged me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I arrived on time to pick up my truck, and there was a line of about 4 people in front of me (not including those being helped at the counter). it took about 30 minutes for me to be seen. Although I love this location and think it is the best I have ever worked with, management might want to look into a faster system to help people, especially those that already have a reservation in the system.

There was an extended line to get inside service. There was only one clerk available for over a dozen customers waiting (review video). Staff was professional and courteous. Sergio outside staff was outstanding. You need to improve your operations.

The customer service at this location was poor to say the least. I returned my trailer the following day. Wasn’t checked in properly on that day so 3 days later they found it and charged me for 3 days over my rental. Thank god I took pictures of me returning it. So went into store and was told by Jeff that he was sorry and he fixed everything. Then proceeded to charge me for the one day rental but never refunded the original payment. So now for one day trailer Renata cost was 136.98 and now added 45.66. Ted days or so later I fought it again on my account. Called customer service and Jamie help me but couldn’t help me because she didn’t understand what was going on. She has got to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. 1 hr later after asking to speak with Jamie’s manager I was helped. Wow 2 trips to the store and an hr on the phone and finally Erica Selby helped me. Hopefully..... will see in 3-7 more business days if I get a refund... WOW is all I can say!!!!

The woman who took my reservation over the phone did not tell me I could only use the cargo van from 8 am-2pm. I planned to use it for the full day. I protested. (I'm still protesting) The nice man at the counter is the one who informed me when I was there to pick up the Cargo Van. He handled my exasperation with empathy and courtesy. I don't know his name or I would insist he would be commended for his professionalism.

Easy pick-up with an online reservation. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I didn't remember being offered a timeframe for returning the truck, so I was given a standard 4-hour rental, and had to have the truck back by a specific time. We almost didn't make it. Suggest that the desired timeframe be a bit more noticeable in the online reservation system.

I ordered a car dolly from the Placerville store. I was told that I had to drive to Roseville to get the dolly. I was not given a reason only that Roseville had the dolly. The Placerville store had 3 car dolly’s as well. Not until I spoke to the Placerville office was I told that the car I was towing was too wide for the regular dolly, so I needed a wide dolly, which was in Roseville. If I was told this initially when I called U-haul, I would have understood. A little communication goes a long way.

Your 24/7 program failed me totally. I followed the prompts in the app and never got the truck that the app said I should be getting. I received two other truck numbers and they never showed up. I had to go inside and wait in a line before I could get the truck that was the truck your app said I was supposed to get. My check in process was supposed to be a quick one and it took me 45 minutes to get my truck.

I was very disappointed when I booked my reservation it stated that you charged .79 per mile but you charged me 1.09 per mile which is a $30.00 more than expected. It might not be much to you but when you are on a fixed income that's a lot. I feel that's false advertising and its just not right. I made a complaint to the office I rented it from and it claimed that each office is different. You need to change your website to the actual charge. Next time I will use Budget they also give AARP customers a 20% discount.

The trailer had pieces of tile and dirt inside. Also, while waiting about 30 minutes for the one worker to hook me up, I walked around my truck and found about 2 dozen assorted nails, screws and bolts on the ground. The drive in area needs a thorough sweep with a metal detector before someone has a flat tire.

I chose not to order and use the hand truck and moving blankets yet I was charged for them. The confusion came from the yard crew they did not properly read my present contract which stated "no blanket and hand truck". This was a careless mistake. Fortunately, the front office, after calling this to their attention, correctd the mistake and claimed the $10 dollar charge was credited to the credit card used. I guess I will find out soon if their word is true.

I believe your team went well beyond the call of duty on this trailer rental. I had an issue getting power to the trailer light plug on my Ford Explorer and your team members spent extra time diagnosing the issue. I would recommend this location to anyone I know that needs rental equipment. Great job here!

Rental car is in great condition. The only comment I will make is the odor inside the. Smells a bit bad. A freshner can simply fix it to eliminate bad odor inside. In my case I have to borrow my car's freshner. Overall it was a great rental.

I was sold an electrical trailer hookup kit to install myself, since the shop was too busy to do so when I arrived. But during installation, I discovered that I had been sold a kit with an unneeded under-dash voltage converter, since I had a factory installed, pre-wired trailer option...a fact that I had shared with your sales rep before he sold me the wiring kit. I only needed the wire to run from the back of my vehicle out the back hatch. Because I was running late, I simply accepted that I had been sold a more expensive wiring kit than needed. The rep checked it after hitching up the trailer and both brake lights and turn signals worked. But after a nine-hour drive to Vegas, the rep at the UHaul return location noticed that NONE of the trailer lights were working. He then tested the wire coming from my car and confirmed that the wire I had installed wasn't getting a signal. He checked for bad fuses and found one. That wire was connected with a quick-connect fitting so it was NOT a problem with my installation. I had made a LONG journey made unsafe by your staff in Roseville

I had a few issues. The first, they left jumper cables attached.... I had to deal with it when I was driving and I honestly do not find that acceptable. The second issue was the dolly and pads.... what a waste of space!!!! I had to reorganize my cargo to fit it all in just so uhaul could upcharge?? It was a cheap very cheap trick.

Due to circumstances beyond my control (not anything that uhaul has done), I had to return my rental. Within the hour,wait in line and be told there was nothing that could be done even there was signage that said otherwise. We were told we had to speak to the manager who just left for lunch. We requested the manager call when she returned. A week and almost a day,still no call. Very poor customer service. If I could give a negative ten stars I would.

Fix the in store customer service. Fix the crooked axle on your unsafe car transport. And when you put unsafe equiptment behind a customers vehicle, Not only should you grant the customer the refund they ask for. But you should offer the refund before its even asked for. Unbelievably bad experience. If I dont receive a refund this will be the very last uhaul rental I will get.

This experience was below average - I don't think it's the fault of the store, I think it's the fault of the system. I tried express pickup, but I ended up having to go into the store. The wrong truck was assigned, so they changed it. I waited at least another half hour, if not longer, before they finally brought the truck out. It put me an hour behind schedule. I have rented from here before and everything usually works great, which is why I rated it Excellent. Just not the Express pickup!

I was not aware the trailers were included in after-hours drop off. My thinking is an unsecured hitch can easily be stolen. When I began the chat with the rep about being late to drop the rig I had, would have been a great time to inform me of the policy. Hence the four star rate. Customer service was fantastic, friendly, professional, polite, and to this safety inspector's keen eye, well trained... Well Done,??

Truck gas gauge paperwork showed 3/4 tank. Left facility gas tank reading was at empty. Had to pull over and go back to have contract adjusted. Headlight on drivers side dimming and turn signal not working. Previous rentals no problem but today it was.

My original pickup location was in Auburn California. At 530pm the night before my reservations, I was told I would have to pick it up in Roseville, approximately 20 miles away. At the pickup location, I was told I could not return to my original reserved location and no offer was made to make things right. I was under time constraints so I had to take this deal on the chin. When I move the items out of storage in approximately 1 month, I will be utilizing a local company.

Reserved 2 furniture dollies, and location only had one. He modified my order, gave me 1 furniture and 1 standard dolly. Not what I requested, not what I needed, but it was all he had. Did not honor the equipment ready guarantee. Asked about AAA, AARP or military discount, if U-Haul waived taxes, since this rental was for a public school. Was surprised to hear there aren't any discounts.

I had a reservation for last night to pick up a trailer at 5 pm. when I arrived at 6 pm the was not a trailer available, I was notified that the trailer had not been returned. So today I called another location and was notified there was not a trailer available , but they had a different trailer at the location i was at the night before that would work, wish I was told that the night before.

your customer service is horrible. let me explain why. I showed up with a reservation for a 4x8 enclosed trailer one way. I spent an hour getting hooked up and getting a contract in hand. when we checked the tail lights on the trailer the left one was out., so then I spent another hour trying to get a different trailer that would have also worked for my needs, however it was a local only trailer, so then I had to change my plans and haul a trailer on my entire trip so I could return it to the same location. they didn't offer any discount or roll me into another enclosed trailer the next size up. I waisted a total of 3 hours dealing with the incompetence of this business. I cant put into words how disappointed I was with the abdominal service I received. It was a horrible experience from start to finish. I would not recommend and will never return again. I hope this review helps someone else avoid this u-haul location on wills road in Roseville. Its turned me off of U-haul as a company forever.

Wills Road was very helpful in fixing the screw-up of the person (on the 800) who reserved the wrong unit. My gripe is with the 800 # and the website. The website was impossible for me to order a trailer online which is why i called your 800#. Will Rd offered to find us the correct unit at a neighboring location.

I set up my rental on line for a truck, future dolly and moving pads. I got 3 emails prior saying my rental is guaranteed at such time it also stated the additional items such and the furniture dolly......... I get there 9am truck is ready BUT SORRY WE DONT HAVE A FURNITURE DOLLY FOR YOU. How inconvenient just when I need one they don’t have one. Had I got an email prior saying we guarantee the truck but sorry no dolly........ I could have made arrangements so I wasn’t pressed for time trying to get a dolly at the last minute.

The corporate office called me twice before the contract was due wanting to know when I was going to drop off the trailer. I guess you need more 5x8 trailers if they are in that high of demand. Might want to buy some more of this size.

The trailer was reserved for 9AM. I came to pick trailer was not ready. The wiring for the trailer hitch was broken trailer was not ready for pick up. After the wiring was done trailer got hooked up and then the emergency brakes on trailer would not release. That was 11AM. Luckily someone came in brought a trailer for return. I left with my trailer 11:30. With that being said I was late to pick up my car. Very un-professional.
