The online check-in did NOT work. I'm plenty tech savvy. The online steps did NOT allow me to take a picture with my phone. My phone is an iPhone 13 so it should be plenty capable. The online process via u-haul presented a black screen and a button that did not take a photo. I had to take an hour of my time at 11:30 at night chatting with support in order to "save" $20 if I just left the trailer there. Again, HORRIBLE Web interaction. I will say the Round Rock location is not to blame but I wanted to get your attention. I have given U-Haul lots of money over the years. But I will never use U-Haul again. I rented a 15' truck on Saturday August 13, 2022. Our pick up time was 9:00am. My reservation included a towing trailer package. Before leaving with the truck the service rep said we could come back and grab the trailer when we finished with loading the truck. We thought excellent idea. However, she did not check the truck to see if everything worked with lights, blinkers, etc. when hooked up to a trailer. We went back around 4:00pm to grab the trailer, nothing worked when the reps attempted to hook up several different trailers. They discovered that the truck had a blown fuse. Me and my friend had to unload everything from the first truck into a new truck on-site. It was a complete waste of our time after an already long day. Also, my new truck had a front driver's side headlight out. The cab however was clean and the drive was fine after that. Next time I would make sure all your staff knows to check the truck with a trailer before letting it leave the lot, if you offer a later pick up time for the trailer. Thank you, Sally JacksonSally J.

I had a confirmed reservation for a 6X12 trailer at my local Uhaul site. Upon pick up there was no trailer and had to drive 35 minutes to the corporate office to pick one up. Very inconvenient, and should have at least been notified ahead of time. Why do we have 3 Uhauls near Sun City in Georgetown and no equipment available?don G.

I will say that the staff at this location is helpful, and friendly but they often use profane language which to me is not professional. The profane language is not towards the customer but a word or two may be used in a conversation about a situation they are dealing with, or about life in general. When we arrived they werw just done closing. An associate directed us where to drop off our truck, but shortly aftewards we were chastised by another employee on the where we intended to drop it off, despite only doing as previously directed. Perhaps the location should make it more clear to customera where to exactly drop off their rentals, especially size the 24/7 drop off service is supposed to be convenient.luis B.

Incentivize better treatment of the customers. Several employees are angry and stressed and appear to hate their job. One guy kicked me out of a truck very rudely when your system double booked a vehicle. Another guy was clearly extremely angry about something and wouldn't talk to me or make eye contact with me when I dropped the truck off. Very strange experience.Joshua K.
Be sure to get a reservation that is marked "Guaranteed" on the web site. I have to get this reservation last minute as my previous one was cancelled 8PM the day before a 7AM pickup. U-Haul needs to remove the word "reservation" if it isn't guaranteed, otherwise what is the point of a reservation.Paul N.

The last one to pick up told me that they all did that because no one wanted to break the bad news that they didn't have my truck in stock I had reserved. The gentleman was extremely friendly and helpful. I was supposed to drop the trailer off at a different location about 10 mins away, but happened to see this location in route. I was not familiar with the area when I selected it during my reservation. The man checked to make sure I wouldn't be charged a different drop off location fee and it was as simple as him unhooking the trailer, peeking inside the trailer so I didn't forget anything, and saying, "You're good to go!". I received a confirmation email within a few minutes. It was so easy! Thank you kind sir!Cindy S.

I got an email a couple hours before my reserved pick-up time saying my reservation had changed. It now had my dolly trailer in one city and the pickup to pull it in a different city. I was concerned so I went to the Round Rick location to find out what was going on. They were very helpful and figured it out - giving me all the equipment I had originally reserved. I booked 6X12 enclosed cargo trailer at one location in Cedar Park. I went to pick it up and found that the reservation had switched somehow to a location in Round Rock. The guys at the Round Rock location were great - but it was a problem.Michael W.

The wiring harness was frayed. The guy from uhaul that hooked it up should have changed the wiring harness out. We did call roadside to report it as we didn't see the wiring harness until we were halfway through our trip. Other than that, no issuesSharon P.

Paid for climate control. When we arrived the a/c was not working. Manager acted like he did not know anything about it and avoided engaging us. The unit was in front of the window in 104 degree weather with no a/c on. There was a wall light by the window that I did not see. I inadvertently leaned up against the light which was blistering hot and it burned the back of my arm. I selected "NO"on would I recommend to a friend because when I got there with my reservation I was told that you guys did not have the size unit that I had reserved. I had reserved a 10 x 15 I was told I could have 3 10 x 5s which is not the same. That's not the surprise you want when you were going to be moving in a week. I think U-Haul could do a better job with the reservations. I tried to complete my reservation online and it would not let me so I had to go into the office location. It all worked out though I was able to get the 10 x 15 but it was not until I was checking out did the attendant notice that there was one 10 x 15 available.Jeff B. | Premières impressions

Having carts to help move is the best ever. Clean and safe storage. Easy move out procedure. You could use another ramp to move from the truck to storage units. It's fine if you've rented a large truck but the smaller trucks and trailers need to use the narrow ramp to get into the building.kelly s. | Expérience générale

I've used uhaul for moving and storage over the past 2 years. They are very easy to work with and in my opinion facilities for storage are way better than the rest (especially in Manchester nh). There was some confusion about the dimensions of the unit. It was tall when I assumed it was long. The staff was helpful in changing me to a different size that better met our needs. Unfortunately, moving a large piece of furniture into the unit was difficult based on the hallway size and needing to turn several corners. My husband and I were able to manage it, but it was more complicated than imagined. The handcarts would have been very helpful if we had been able to to turn corners with them and the furniture. Again, our issue, but something for others to consider when accepting a unit. We utilized a shoulder dolly system (one we own, but are available for sale in the check-out area) and that was far more helpful.Kristine B. | Online Move In

I needed to store my belongings for a while and UHaul storage had great options and when I needed to downsize the storage unit, it was easy. I was pleased with the storage unit - especially for having temperature control options. Also offered pest control, so I knew my belongings were safe while I had them in storage. Staff must be able to answer phone calls. Having to put up with very long hold time with the call center is a very negative experience and is what I will also tell anyone who asks. All staff needs is for a person to have a portable phone with them. This would enhance the customer experience.
