EDWARD LI was amazed at how quickly our pod arrived. It left MA on Thursday and arrived at the Portland U-Haul location Sunday morning when they opened. Entire process was very smooth with excellent communication throughout the process.

jill pCommunication was excellent throughout the process. I ordered 5 containers despite the recommendation of 4. In retrospect, I could have used 6. Other than that, the experience was excellent! We moved from Massachusetts to Michigan and all went well. I will definitely recommend to friends and family on the move! Thanks so much.
Troy PStaff is pleasant and helpful but truck seemed poorly maintained. Made many funny noises and a distinct banging noise in stop and go traffic when braking. Also there are no spare keys in case one is lost.

DANNY MEverything was very good. Arrived on time to location. Would strongly recommend other than wooden containers. Poorly built using staples. Use screws for better construction and ease of opening/closing doors, In addition add a few more tie downs hardware inside containers.
Thomas AA defective rim delayed departure two days and caused a day of overage. Should have been fixed before I left with it. Weekend staff was cluess and made me wait til Monday only to then tell me to call roadside assistance.
THOMAS JI had two u boxes and was told at the last minute that one of them was too heavy and could not be delivered. While that was unexpected (since this had gotten all the way here MA, from CA with no problem) I requested that they at least send the one and I would deal with lightening the other when I could. After waiting all day for the one to come I'm told it would not be delivered and would have to be delivered the following day. I asked that I at least be moved to the earliest possible time on that day as I was already a day behind and was assured that would be looked into. That box arrived in the evening and too late for me to do anything with it. By my reconning I see this as two days late. Add that the the huge inconvenience of still having to figure out how to deal with the second box and I would have to say this was disappointing. The service with U-Haul and the U-boxes had been outstanding up to this point so I'm assuming this is an anomaly.

CARLOS AThe past three years we've used the U-Haul company ether renting trucks and/or box trailers and have had the best service anyone, anytime, anywhere could do business with. Bravo to those employees and local businesses for keeping U-Haul our premium customer service experience!!! Again; Bravo to Rotts, in SC and the Oxford, MA businesses❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️

Lee BI did have 2 issues with a flat tire and hydraulic brake that wouldn't reset, both needed road service. I got a call from Bill and he refunded the full amount for the rental. I will continue to use this location for their consideration and attention to service.
ROBERT HThe Worcester location was amazing. the Fayetteville location was HORRIBLE! absolutely the WORST! the Delivery to Fayetteville was scheduled, and then i got a text saying they were on their way. 5 hours later they came and dropped off my uboxes. i asked for them to be parked parallels to my car facing the front door. this is not what happened. The next day i got a call from LILY, im so sorry your boxes didn't come bla bla bla, i responded they are right here, they are in my front yard. while i have you on the phone do you want to schedule pick up. it was worked out following Monday they would be picked up PER LILY'S RECCOMENDATION because i had friends coming Saturday to help unpack and Sunday U-Haul could not pick them up. they don't work Sundays according to lily. not even 5 minutes later lily calls back and tells me there's a final balance due. i told her i would go online to pay. she then asks AGAIN 'when i would like to schedule pick up" and again i told her "i thought we agreed upon Monday?" so i pay the bill i assume everything is all set. Monday comes and goes, no pick up. so i call back, and i get re directed to billing, and they tell me im not sure why you were directed here, everything looks to be paid, so i ask to get directed to someone to schedule a pick up, and low and behold i get LILY AGAIN! i tell her i need to schedule a pick up and she just stays silent for a good 5 min. and then i could hear her talking to someone else "im on the phone" "don't wiggle that it makes it go out" weird stuff. (being on the phone that feels like 20) i said so can you pick up tomorrow? oh yes! she says it just says in here "customer has not paid do not pick up" and I put that note there and i don't know why i did that, and i was trying to figure out why i did that. PERSONALLY I DONT CARE why she put that there, i just wanted the UBOXES picked up! my dog was whining to go out so i had to go spending over 25 min on the phone with this girl so she could figure out why she put a note in the system is absurd! i told her to figure it out, get the delivery scheduled for ASAP and call me if you have any issues. and i hung up on her.

Douglas REmployees were fairly professional, though, unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with the 26' truck we rented. I hope this was not the norm and want to assume the best and that it was just a fluke. This truck had severe transmission issues and severely struggled to change gears (especially when downshifting or on hills), and would regularly get stuck between gears for long periods of time with extremely loud revving of the engine and near dangerously high RPM levels. Issues were noticeable when driving unloaded but severe when driving loaded. I had moments where I was worried the truck would break down on the road and I would not make it back to the facility. I had rented the same kind of truck years ago with no issues. I did report the problems to two different employees upon return, and I hope it gets addressed. One person did say the truck had recently returned from the shop, so maybe an issue was not properly fixed.

Shawn LThe front desk person that checked us in was great. He spent a long time helping the customer in front of us - but did keep saying he thanked us for our patience. The van was dirty and smelled like smoke. The employee was very nice & that is why I would rent from this location again.
Tarrah FThe only real problem was we wanted to rent a 20' truck that was shown on the website available but 2 days before are pick up we got the call that the truck was down for maintenance and we we offered a cargo van. This was much smaller than what we wanted so we had to make other arrangements so we would not have to make extra trips. The people in Webster were very nice and helpful.
CHERYL CTed, your employee. Was not very helpful to me. He handed me the key card and told me I had to swipe it twice and that's all he did. So I went out back and swipe the key card in one location and then swiped it again in another location and it was asking me for my code. So I went back in, and there was another employee there, who had just started his job and didn't know very much about anything but he was very helpful to me. he finally showed me how to swipe the card and get the big doors open and then go to. The second box and swipe that and that door opened. That Ted guy is useless not good for business. Sorry, but I do like the storage location in the cleanliness and everything else about your business is excellent.

ALICE MMost employees did a great job. Some employees sit idle during the week and play on their phones in between customers, I guess. That's the only problem.....employee is more involved in the gadget and perhaps forgets that the job should take priority. A mindset of top notch customer service should be their number 1 goal, not lax service to get rid of the customer so that they can get back to the gadget.
GIL WFriendly, fast, and helpful. A welcome sight after such a long drive. Overall, a good experience, but the overall cost of the rental was a little ridiculous. Last time I'll be doing this.

Brian SThe hitch job was incomplete and there was no offer to fix it correctly. The installer clearly did not know how to do it correctly. Customer service was non existent from drop off to pick up. Had to find an employee after being there for 15 mins. Employee, Ted, told me he did not work on hitches and had no idea what the issue was or how to fix it. I would never go back. Will take it somewhere else that knows what they are doing!!! Horrible experience!!

The loading garage and carts make this location extra convenient. Didn't have to lug things out in the rain and the cold. Very nice feature.

And he also set me up with a storage unti where I could pull in and unload which was awesome given we were getting 4 inches a hour for rainfall that day

I felt like if I did not answer I might not get great service like I did the first two days. I inquired the first day and came back the next day to get a unit. I liked what I saw and heard but now I am afraid of being badgered because I did not get back to you right away. I liked the vasility but was disappointed with the floor. Everything was so new looking but the floor.
