The windshield wasn't cleaned that good. Driving with a dirty windshield isn't great especially with a glare from the sun. But other than that it was good.

I didn't expect to do this transaction online, but it's not as bad as I expected. Once I got the info from the representative, it became clear how to use it better. There should be more instructions as to how to complete the transaction. Certain details were not included, like where the lock boxes were and what is expected of you as you go through the processes.

The good: The woman working the office was excellent. She handled multiple customers with their apps, got supplies, moved trucks - she did everything and with a cheerful attitude. She was very helpful and it was refreshing to see a hard working, happy employee. . The bad: It would've been nice to get an alert ahead of time that the truck should be fueled back up to the level it was at when rented. You don't get an alert about this until you are on location and checking out. Seems like a sneaky way to overcharge for fuel which I didn't appreciate. But everything else was fine.

I had an appointment for Monday and they called Saturday to cancel for Monday and ask if I can bring it in during the week. very little notice to change appointment how to do it on a Saturday as I work had to cancel my plans for this Saturday to bring it in by 1230 so they can put it on.. I think they could give you more notice if they're canceling your appointment or changing it as they already had my money. If they weren't open on a Monday, they shouldn't of put appointments up on the scheduling.. the gentleman who call said they only look at their appointments one week in advance. That's not fair to your customers.

Overall experience was very good. The only complaint was at the time of pick-up. I did my reservation online. When I went to pick-up the vehicle, I had to wait over 15 minutes to get the vehicle. There was only one person working the counter and she was on the phone taking a reservation that turned out wasn't even for the Saddle Brook facility. After completed, she was very nice and completed my transaction quickly.

Picked up the truck with only 6 miles of gas in it so I had to fill it up. I was told if I did I would get a refund of $30 never did.

The girl working there was overwhelmed, it seems ridiculous to me yo ha e JUST ONE person working at such a high volume location. There were at least a dozen customers there over the time I was trying to return equipment and only ONE employee She was doing her best but clearly this location is under staffed to say the least.

Even thou it's a busy place to come and pick up a U-Haul truck or van, w/o reservation. The worker is very professional and accommodating in conducting their business at this branch. I wouldn't ask for more.

Lourdes employee there assign me a storage unit and two weeks later i got to the storage and all my belongings were out in the hall where anyone had access to my things and staff supposely didnt know who they belong too. My kids laptop was stolen and Two sneaker boxes which one contained lysol cleaning wipes and the other had a pair of new jordans. What they did to clear it up was assign me another unit and told me Carlos would reach out in regards to my stolen property and till now I haven't heard from them so i removed my things. They have cameras, they could of viewed but seems like they did and covered it up. Im just wondering how would they have felt if this was to happened to anyone there or anyone else in general.

To start this truck didn't seem very reliable and secondly the price that they said I would initially be charged doubled. They start off by saying it's $19,95 then when you book it says $34,95 then to look at the finale price stating they charged me $70. I returned the truck almost 2 hours before the time and used it locally from one location to the next. Didn't make sense but it's a lesson learned, never booking again.

I specifically asked if there was an elevator and I was told yes. I would never rent a storage on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I did not feel like the wooden doors with no seal would protect my things properly. The building has no climate control at all. I was booked into a proper storage quicker than I had access to unpack and thank God.

The employees lie about available trucks so they can charge more money for one way rentals. Total scam. They told the same lie to multiple customers who had reservations for 26 foot uhaul trucks that were to be returned to the same location that day. They had a ton of one-way 26-footers though.. it's understandable if they need a truck to be local for future reservations.. but to say that a truck can be returned to any location in the united states…. Except theirs…. "Because of policy"… is a lie that is meant to take advantage of customers and make more money. Uhaul is not military friendly… find a better, more reliable, and respectable business.

I'm a little concerned. I was just about to purchase a lock for the storage unit but was informed there would be a lock provided in the unit. However when I went to put my belongings in the unit there was as no lock provided, just a rat poison box. I then had to drive an additional 34 miles at 11:00 at night searching for a place to purchase a lock. I was also told the unit was large enough to accommodate a king size mattress and a few boxes, that was also incorrect as the unit was not large enough to accommodate the mattress. I am over all unsatisfied with the service to this point.. The staff thus far have been polite.

1) cuando rente me dijeron que era en el 2do Nivel y resulta que el A41 está en el 3er nivel y nunca me dijeron de cómo puedo subir mis cosas. 2) Tuve que utilizar las escaleras y luego las rampas para subir mis pertenencias, Ósea no tienen ascensores de cargas. 3) Mi cuarto tiene una viga casi en el medio.

In regards to the storage unit when I first tried to have people in the store help me they were unable to. When I went online I booked a 2nd floor Room and still managed to get on the 3rd floor! And it is a little ridiculous that floor 2 and 3 have to first go up stairs when I asked for help they say their is a ramp but the ramp starts on the 2nd floor where I was supposed to originally be not up the stairs and up a ramp..... I will never rent from this place again have a life or something

took me 5 days after handing in the keys calling and speaking 4 different people the so called manager is a total waste of time rude arrogant and obtuse sadly i was quoted one price and billed a different amout tried to get this sorted staff told me to pack up and leave if i cant pay an absolute waste of time dealing with these people dont bother thinking of uhaul trouble and disaster making more problems with them

I don't ever like to leave bad reviews... Front desk was rude and unhelpful. The facility was not easy to navigate, and after moving for 10 hours with one other person, a little assistance on where to go would have been nice. It would be helpful if you were clear about 3rd floor units having staircases and steep ramps with no elevator!!!!!!!!!! That move in process was exhausting!

Todo estuvo perfecto en el recibo del vehículo en Minnesota y el personal súper atentos. La devolución del track y tower no fue para nada agradable. Como clienta mujer esperaba mayor amabilidad en la entrega y no que tenía que saber como desengranar el camión del remolque que venía con mi carro. Yo venía de conducir 20 horas para encontrarme con semejante cuento. Los que recibieron el vehículo dijeron que eso no les correspondía hacerlo y que yo debía pagar un fee si quería que ellos lo hicieran. Yo respondí que no tenía conocimiento de ello pues en mi contrato no decía nada de esas tarifas extra pero que si estaba establecido en el sistema yo lo pagaba y finalmente no lo cargaron. Creo que solo tiraron el aventón. Ese detalle genera desconfianza. No me pareció honesto de esos dos empleados en Saddle Brook.

All of my stuff has damage from moisture. Some things I even had to throw out because of mold. It is most definitely NOT climate controlled as advertised

You facility had a roof leak and damaged my items. I was told it my problem because I didn't have separate insurance. I really don't care what the contract says. You have a building that's not maintained and that should not be my problem. I lost three months of Rent payments and thousands of dollars because I have to throw out all my items from the damage. I will never recommend or use that facility again for storage.

Generally the facility was well maintained.There could be more effort to clean up.Employees are typical for the NJ area.They do as little as necessary to get paid.Not always civil.Questions ignored.

The service I received was outstanding. The staff and Manager were always very helpful, addressing all my questions and making my experience one of the best I have had in the New Jersey area. Amazing!

The customer service rep was very nice but he was all alone and there was a long line. I felt bad for him. I had movers that I was paying by the hour and that cost me some extra money.

The customer service at this location is not good at all. I didn't receive the full attention of the rep both times I went to the location and the incorrect info was given to me about the storage.

I’m very please and satisfied that I chose U-Haul of saddle Brook, workers there are helpful and always seem to fine a soulution for problems , one thing needed is a dumpster for unwanted items .

No bugs, or rodents! However; building really needs updating. Stairs and steep ramp are too cumbersome. Moving extremely tiresome, difficult, and dangerous. No customer appreciation. Workers nice.
