it was a great place now it's not. They had a known unsafe trailer that they sent out to another uhaul dealer that I ended up with. The staff admitted this. This could have killed aomeone

ROMMEL LI used only 3 miles, but charged 6. I have pic.the gas was under half, not exactly half. The woman inside wasn't nice and helpful, she hate her job and costumers i guess. Outside also nobody cares about costumers, nobody come to check the truck together, i don't like it! There was extra charges I don't even know what for. I know I don't get back what uhaul charge and don't care about me, but I can't tell I'm happy.. :(

PUBLIO BThis is a good location. The staff are friendly and the gentleman who looks like the manager is quick to help and offer solutions. One of the staff, Rebecca, looks like she is handling most of the customer interactions by herself, which can take a toll on a person so she comes off a bit rude and dismissive. There should be more help for her inside at the desk.
Darcie SI received no break. I put excessive mileage for the time that I used the vehicle. I was charged excessive amount of rental tax. I had to work out the gas payment. They refunded me the gas, which was correct, but they did not do anything for me on the miles I paid for $208 for Miles, no break at $1.29. The miles are very expensive if I only did 30 or 40 or 50 miles or even 60 miles OK there was excessive amount of miles that I had to do because I was in danger and I was not given any type of concession extremely upset about it extremely I paid too much money for this other places to rent trucks. Nothing is done about this. I will be going other places to rent my trucks constant customer Uhaul I would like to speak to the district manager of the saddle Brooke location. Please call me.

LUIS LTook almost an hour to process everything because the representative kept going back to the beggining so many times. She kept loosing everything we entered numerous times. dL upload had to be done over and over again, selfie had to be taken over and over again. I needed rental for not even 10 miles I put down 11. We were back in 45 minutes. I just saw on my receipt that I was charged 21 miles. For what???? I went from saddle brook anJ to Nutley NJ and back. What's going g on here. I need refund asap

Torry MEquipment was fine. Check-in process was too long, especially because we pre-registered online. Staff totally unfriendly...no business acumen at all. Try saying "hello" or "thank you" to valued customers. Maybe even smile.

Niel GTheir customer service is below average and not in any way willing to help any person in need. There pricing is way above average pricing. I did not realize that when I booked. I was charged $200 more than what I paid the year prior for a bigger uhaul , now you can see how much this place over charges and when I asked for helped with a refund or a better price from the general manager of Saddle Brook she told me you booked it at that price so that's the price you will pay and would do nothing for me . Great customer service, stay away from this overpriced place

Mauro BVehicles airconditioner wasn't working, the brakes were squeaking extremely loud,and there's seems to be a huge transmission issue. I honestly thought the truck was going to break down. The rental process was awsome though

Miguel FManager was on the phone sounded like with a friend. Called me to counter and then tells me to wait till she's done. Can not multitask. The guy who hooked up trailer did not speak to me at all. And had a face looked misarable. When I returned trailer gentleman came out and said I quote "ur not going to fuck me out of a tip rt." Then proceeds to tell me that he is quote fucking the manager lady and he runs the show. I was in shock I have been renting the same kind of trailer at this same location for years this new staff is super unprofessional and disrespectful.

Let's start by saying this storage facility is an absolute dump. How do they have the nerve to have 3 floors and no elevators? I guess I'm supposed to haul furniture on my back ? The hallways are damp and cold, the storage units themselves have no light. I literally felt like I was walking down the hallways of eastern state penitentiary in its decomposing state. I dropped off my belongings because I had no choice but I will be removing everything before the month is up. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR, LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT STORAGE FACILITY!!!!!!

Dzenan S | Déménagement en ligneAccessing the storage was a hassle. My given access code was not working, then miraculously after 15 minutes of trying, it finally let me in. There were multiple bugs, and I had no idea there was no elevator in the facility. If that would have been mentioned I would have never purchased a unit, and the only reason I still kept it was because it was after hours and I couldn't speak to anyone. When I move my belongings out, I will never use this facility again, nor recommend it.

My kids laptop was stolen and Two sneaker boxes which one contained lysol cleaning wipes and the other had a pair of new jordans. What they did to clear it up was assign me another unit and told me Carlos would reach out in regards to my stolen property and till now I haven't heard from them so i removed my things. They have cameras, they could of viewed but seems like they did and covered it up. Im just wondering how would they have felt if this was to happened to anyone there or anyone else in general.

I did not feel like the wooden doors with no seal would protect my things properly. The building has no climate control at all. I was booked into a proper storage quicker than I had access to unpack and thank God.

They told the same lie to multiple customers who had reservations for 26 foot uhaul trucks that were to be returned to the same location that day. They had a ton of one-way 26-footers though.. it's understandable if they need a truck to be local for future reservations.. but to say that a truck can be returned to any location in the united states…. Except theirs…. "Because of policy"… is a lie that is meant to take advantage of customers and make more money. Uhaul is not military friendly… find a better, more reliable, and respectable business.
David G | Expérience généraleI'm a little concerned. I was just about to purchase a lock for the storage unit but was informed there would be a lock provided in the unit. However when I went to put my belongings in the unit there was as no lock provided, just a rat poison box. I then had to drive an additional 34 miles at 11:00 at night searching for a place to purchase a lock. I was also told the unit was large enough to accommodate a king size mattress and a few boxes, that was also incorrect as the unit was not large enough to accommodate the mattress. I am over all unsatisfied with the service to this point.. The staff thus far have been polite.

When I went online I booked a 2nd floor Room and still managed to get on the 3rd floor! And it is a little ridiculous that floor 2 and 3 have to first go up stairs when I asked for help they say their is a ramp but the ramp starts on the 2nd floor where I was supposed to originally be not up the stairs and up a ramp..... I will never rent from this place again have a life or something

The facility was not easy to navigate, and after moving for 10 hours with one other person, a little assistance on where to go would have been nice. It would be helpful if you were clear about 3rd floor units having staircases and steep ramps with no elevator!!!!!!!!!! That move in process was exhausting!

Como clienta mujer esperaba mayor amabilidad en la entrega y no que tenía que saber como desengranar el camión del remolque que venía con mi carro. Yo venía de conducir 20 horas para encontrarme con semejante cuento. Los que recibieron el vehículo dijeron que eso no les correspondía hacerlo y que yo debía pagar un fee si quería que ellos lo hicieran. Yo respondí que no tenía conocimiento de ello pues en mi contrato no decía nada de esas tarifas extra pero que si estaba establecido en el sistema yo lo pagaba y finalmente no lo cargaron. Creo que solo tiraron el aventón. Ese detalle genera desconfianza. No me pareció honesto de esos dos empleados en Saddle Brook.

You have a building that's not maintained and that should not be my problem. I lost three months of Rent payments and thousands of dollars because I have to throw out all my items from the damage. I will never recommend or use that facility again for storage.
