When I booked online, I reserved the truck for 5 days, but the contract showed only a 3 day rental. Staff was very helpful to correct the mistake when I later called to inform them.Mel G.

The truck we rented had filthy will does on the inside. I am not sure what dirty rag had been used, but it took me three application of will dow cleaner to be able to see properly. The truck was leaking oil onto the exhaust which produced a strong smell.in the cab as well as staining the driveway at both our old and new locations. Within about 10 kms of leaving with the truck fully loaded, the CHECK ENGINE light came on and stayed on for the duration of the trip. I did check the oil levels and anti-freeze reservoir and decided to proc eed. Considering there were several.other trucks on the lot at the time, I was a little disappointed that this truck would be dispatched without proper maintenance. The truck worked well and the staff were very efficient and friendly. When I returned the truck and advised them of the problems, I believe they took the unit out of service for maintenance.DALE P.

I am utterly furious! My credit card was charged, and on top of that I paid for my rental! And not only that effing waiting for 2 +hours just to resolve this bullshit. What kind of rental company are you running!Chasity W.

I was told I could not take out the vehicle without a credit card because a PIN verification was required. I told them my credit card did not have a PIN but I could use a debit card, I was then told that only credit card could be used. I have rented 2 other pieces of equipment this month with a debit card without issue. I left my credit card at home so had to go get it, I called and asked if I could give my card over the phone and then was told no it has to be in person so a PIN can be entered. When I arrived my credit card was having problems and would not go through, I brought a second card since I knew this one was having problems. Just to test I ran my debit card to see if it would work as it had on my previous rentals. The debit card worked no problem and I was not required to enter a PIN. In the end there was over an hour delay for no reason.Jennifer G.

The saskatoon location off of Millar was great. By far the best customer service I have experienced at uhaul. However, the fact that in a major city like Calgary I had to drive 1hr south to simply drop off the trailer with zero other options. I understand the need to stock inventory but it shouldn't be at the customers expense.adam K.

We went from The uhaul to bonli crescent to pick up a dining set back to uhaul for our trailer then to Warman to load our house and to waldheim to unload, and back to saskatoon. This shitty company is trying to tell us that we drove 600km. Since we picked up the truck at 7:25, picked the trailer up shortly after 9 and brought it back at 6pm we would have had to pretty much been driving continuously in order to have put on 600km. We were told we'd be contacted by the genera manager to discuss, but now I get a surprise email saying they've charged us over 400 ON TOP of what we paid at pick up. This company is bullshit and we will be going to the bbb.Mitchell P.

The Unit i had was in very rough shape. Lots of dents and dings which were all marked thankfully. However in the future I will be requesting a unit that is in much better shape body wise and one that is at least washed as the unit I had looked like it had not been scrubbed down in weeks.TANNER L.

With COVID rampant and the quick turnaround of your vehicles, you should clean all knobs, steering wheel, latches. etc. Mine was horribly dirty on pick up. If it wasn't for the nice chap that helped me, I was going to go back for a refund and cancel the rental. I might look at alternate means if I ever move or need your services again.Timothy K.

The computer system wasn't working and had to enter all the information in twice. The first trailer I was hooked up to was in for service and had to be unhooked and new paperwork sorted out. Then hooked up to another trailer. It seemed to be a comedy of errors as it took 40+ min to pick up AND drop off a rented trailer. I'll be looking at other rental venues next time this service is needed.Arron D.

This whole process took over an hour. We were unable to unlock the lock to get access to the key. Was on the feedback part on the app trying to finish the pick up truck part. The person was not right there to answer or help me. My sister and my husband were on the phone trying to call the Uhaul main number. Finally someone answered the phone and help us with the directions for the lock and even she couldn't understand why the lock didn't work. Then she was able to tell me that another location was open and had a cancellation. We could pick up a truck there. The lady on the phone was very good and helpful. I was soo frustrated throughout the whole process. The app didn't work properly, it wouldn't take the information needed to finish the pick up. There was no access to the owner to call them to help out. The lady on the phone did not have the owner's contact information only the business line. Not a very good experience that cost me more money as the movers were waiting for us to show up with the truck.Sandra E.

My pick up time,drop off time and location was changed after I booked, for lack of inventory apparently. Then on pick up day I got sent to a different location. Almost 300 dollars for 3 days with a rate of "59,95" a day. Won't ever return.Ryan W.

The truck keys were not available on the date we had it reserved. Then we were charged for two UHAULS after we re-reserved. We ended up moving on the Friday when we had the Thursday reserved for a U-Haul. We had movers that we paid on Thursday and we ended up having to pay 120$ extra to our landlord because we weren't out on the correct day. So we lost over 300$ due to U-Haul workers not putting out the keys for us. I believe a discount should be in place. Next time improve on putting out the keys when you're supposed to or do not say you can have the keys ready at the designated time.Kailey B.

I ordered a hitch installation, it was confirmed. I contacted the location and was told that they did not have the parts for an installation but would let me know. I did not hear back from them. I called in the day of my appointment and was told they still don't have the parts for an hitch installation and they don't do installation on fridays which was my appointment date. Installation are done on Sundays. The manager told me if I bought the parts he could install for 700 $and there would be no guarantee or warranty. This is twice the cost of Uhaul cost. I had to take my vehicle somewhere else to get the hitch done at the cost of 600 $. After picking up the trailer and on my routine I was told at a gas station that the trailer was not hitch properly and the chains were looking worn and was dragging on the road. Returning the trailer I notice the 4 pin connections to my vehicle was damage due to the poor connections of the chains. Brian at the Colby uhaul location where I return the trailer confirm that the chains on the trailer was below Uhaul standard and should not have been used. the connections were improperly done and was the reason my 4 pin wiring was damaged. He noted he would note this in my file and I should call customer service. In light of this I am requesting an investigation and asking that uhaul compensate me the difference in cost to have my hitch done with another company and also replace and repair the damage to the 4pin hitch on my vehicle. Overall the service was very ,very poor and I would have seconds thoughts renting from uhaul if I had another choice or options. I would also tell my friends to be very careful when renting or installing a hitch. I believe the locations in Saskatchewan are not up to uhual standard of service and customers service and should be reviewed regularly. I would welcome a follow-up and call from this poor experience and lack of service.Heather L.

The truck given showed an ABS fault light about 100m down the road. It was replaced under negotiation. We lost over an hour which the location was resistant to replace and put it on paper. A staff member came in to say he had fixed it, he literally turned it off and on again, next time the truck is driven and completes it checks it will show the same fault. An ABS fault is not something that should be left unmaintained.JASON H.

Highly recommend this location. They took any and all of our concerns very seriously and were great to deal with. The other location in lakeview was not helpful at all and had completely turned us off of Uhaul, Millar Ave crew totally changed that and we would in fact use Uhaul again.Cory S.
The millar ave location was awesome so were the people that helped us. The only complaint was the 4 or 5 large shards of glass left in the bottom of the trailer from previous move, we had to do a thorough sweep to get all the dirt and glass out. Otherwise we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this location.carlee S.

First the guy at the front finalized everything with my ID and got a lock and gave me to access keys can you show me where to go so I had to walk all the way around the building finally came back ask him to show me told him that I’ve never been here so I need some help then I get into the access to look for 1066 there was no 1066 so then I go back into the office he says that he’s too busy with customers to show me where my locker is so I said fine get me out of it I didn’t want to do it and so I cancelled everything and I will never use U-Haul for storageSheena K. | Expérience générale

Despite checking in online and setting up an alternate account access for my son, they had trouble finding the account and said I had to be there as he was not registered. In the end they phoned to confirm with me but the process was lengthy and frustrating given we followed their directions. Did not know the storage was not accessed from outside. An apartment's worth of items had to be moved down two long hallways - they did provide a dolly. Also the size I ordered on the phone was not big enough despite explaining contents so had to upgrade to a bigger size at a higher price.Sheila K. | Online Move In

i reserved a 10*14 unit about a month ahead and called few times later to confirm it as I was bringing stuff from a small town 2 hours away and didn't want any disappointment. each time I called staff confirmed my reservation. even on the date of move I called the facility and the lady on staff confirmed the reservation and didn't mention anything about it being not available. few hours later when i reached the facility they said unit was not available, I had to cram my stuff into a smaller unit of 10*10 and ultimately had to buy another unit 10*5 additionally paying 80$. Also staff didn't' offer any insurance despite asking multiple times. now some of my cushions are permanently damaged and I request U-HAUL to pay my damages and reduce the the rental fee.
