I had requested a dozen blankets but they were not available at pick up time. So this left me scrambling to find sheets and coverings. So the moving experience would have been improved if what I'd requested had been available. But overall things went well. Merci.brenda P.

Everything was well done by the staff at this location. They were very busy yet friendly and helpful. Because I was using the 24/7 pickup method and had been charged for blankets that weren't provided (they were out of stock), I needed extra assistance to remove the charge. The vehicle I rented was dirty inside there was used Kleenex and a used COVID mask in behind the seat and overall interior was dirty spill stains on the doors steering wheel the dust was on everything inside and the outside was covered in mudDarrell K.

The costumer service was so unprofessional the guy who look after us he was rude he's no happy he just give me the key and said you truck it's outside, there it's like 20 trucks outside. When I return the truck same attitude, I ask hem how many kilometres did I used he said he don't know moments later he told me how many, I think he needs to explain to the customers what he's it's doing when costumers ask to hem and he needs to be more professional because we are paying for the product we are taking we are not asking to barrow the product, and we are paying for he's service as well so at least we deserve smile. When the representative contacted me, they said I could keep the truck until the other day or deliver it anytime at night, since I was using mobile pick-up. However, when I got truck, the website said I had to return it until 7pm, which was not in my plan. So I had to rush a little bit because I was worried about being changed for late return. Please, be more specific/accretive about what you say to your customers through the phone or app/website. Also, I've tried to use the Android app to pick up the truck, but it would not show any picture that it asked me to take with the app. The app opened the camera, I took the picture, but nothing was showing up in the app. So I had to use the website. I was using a Galaxy S10e. And one more thing, not that I care, but the truck was dirty, I even found some fries inside the cabin. And before I forget, the engines lights were on all the time.Rafael W.
So I showed up to pick up 10' Mover, 1 x queen size mattress cover, 1 x dolly and 1 x dozen furniture pads (which I was "guaranteed" according to the email I received). I show up, my vehicle didn't arrive from the previous mover, no more furniture pads, and no queen size mattress cover; all I was able to pick up was the dolly. After 10-15 min of wait, the employee realized that there was a "one way" 10' mover that I can sign out. So thanks no mattress cover and furniture pad, furniture were damaged. If things weren't going to be ready, I would have appreciated if I was told up before so I can change my plan.Min Hyung L.

I did self check in as that was recommended for due to covid . Did that was kind of a pain but for first time not bad until locating keys. The app said the rear door was locked and id need a code to get the keys. Only no lock no keys. Ended up going inside. Forgot my mask at home , realized and was like its all self check in. Go inside used my shirt for a mask. No courtesy masks . Then asked the agent and was like keys are inside as we move the trucks around. Self checkin totally pointless ðŸ™„SHAWN V.

The truck we rented was fine, but we were very disappointed when the location informed us that they didn't have any dollies or furniture pads for us, even though we booked them in advance! This oversight made our move much more difficult.Tristin B.

Truck box was not swept out prior to my rental. Truck had the check engine light on. I was billed for a full days rental but was only allowed the truck from 7a-1pâ€¦ if I am paying a day rate I should get it for a day. Truck also had less than a half tank of gas, which felt very unprofessional.Stephen H.

I got the truck cargo space not clean at all, and there was stuff in it like dirty clothes and empty water bottle. I am not sure how the staff let me take it like that. Did they check it before giving it to me???!!!!! I am sure uhaul will not take the truck dirty like that from me.... I have pictures by the way. Van was full of gravel in the back. Had to sweep it out before we took it which took a half hour! Steering wheel was very dirty, nothing had been wiped down. With COVID things should at least be wiped off.Patricia S.

It was terrible!! First the guy at the front finalized everything with my ID and got a lock and gave me to access keys can you show me where to go so I had to walk all the way around the building finally came back ask him to show me told him that I’ve never been here so I need some help then I get into the access to look for 1066 there was no 1066 so then I go back into the office he says that he’s too busy with customers to show me where my locker is so I said fine get me out of it I didn’t want to do it and so I cancelled everything and I will never use U-Haul for storageSheena K. | Expérience générale

The lady I dealt with in the store had wonderful customer service. Fully explained the truck rental with me. On the return, she was just as friendly. The truck was not clean. Interior was dirty. The exterior was dirty. The truck did do the job that it was needed for though. I would rent from the location on Millar Ave in Saskatoon again.Donna S.

I can't believe ppl think it is ok to pay 0,99 per KM - or 1,59 per mile?!?! That unadulterated robbery. The truck was filthy?! It had be sprayed with a sanitizer I'm sure it reeked so strong but no one had washed the outside of itJodi-Ann F.
I spent over an hour renting a 40 $trailer. There were a lot of people behind me. So basically the associate made 40 $in that hour. Not efficient. I asked if when I dropped I needed to come inside and she told me no they would no it was back. Dropped off at 1130. At 130 the call to tell me my trailer was a 1/2 late. I told her it was back an hour and a half early. She said it is curtesy to come in and tell them it's back. She told me I didn't need to come when I picked it up and even if I needed to I was not going to wait over an hour as that was the speed already established for them to move at. Be more efficient and less redundant.T C.

Your attendant failed to guide me properly when backing up to hitch up the trailer and caused me to bend my license plate. The excuse was they assumed everyone had a backup camera now, I do not. This type of careless assumptions could have caused greater damage or even a safety concern. It should be corrected.Brian M.

The time I got there was about 4:30 there was a-line up of customers, and only two employees, wait time was a little long but due to Covid restrictions one has to expect that and the time period probably played into it also. Attendants where very pleasant and helpful.James B.

Send an email with the km on the odometer to the renter when they take it off the lot. When the km were added up I felt there was no way I drove the truck that far, and checking non google that seems to check out, so I felt ripped off even though it was only really a 10 $difference. It would be just a small thing to send with the contract to help customer satisfaction as it made me not want to come back even though it might have been accurate. I know it was my responsibility but I am sure I'm not the only reaction like that you will get so sending the starting km on the odometer out to the renter might help keep people feel more satisfied.Keith F.

Despite checking in online and setting up an alternate account access for my son, they had trouble finding the account and said I had to be there as he was not registered. In the end they phoned to confirm with me but the process was lengthy and frustrating given we followed their directions. Did not know the storage was not accessed from outside. An apartment's worth of items had to be moved down two long hallways - they did provide a dolly. Also the size I ordered on the phone was not big enough despite explaining contents so had to upgrade to a bigger size at a higher price.Sheila K. | Online Move In

My truck was made available to me 7 hours later than I had booked it, with no explanation provided from either the pick-up location or from 1 800 GO UHAUL. The availability of a moving truck was very reasonably the basis for all my moving plans which had been made far in advance, and forced me to push all my plans back a day and made me unable to actually move in at my destination. My family have deemed this to be "the worst move we've ever experienced". This was, understandably, supremely frustrating and expensive for me.Kyle B.

The online system was down and I had to wait 45 min into my scheduled time to get someone at the counter to help me. They didn't offer to extend the time, but did accommodate a little when I asked. The worst was when my son left his phone in the truck and I was calling the location to ask them to look before it was rented out again (they told me it was to be rented immediately after me). I tried to get them not to not put me on hold about 7 times but the staff person wouldn't just talk to me. It took me over an hour to get through to someone, who looked in the truck (that apparently wasn't rented out right after me bc it was still there...as late as an hour and a half after I was told was the latest I could bring it back?) and found the phone. I was grateful for him. The rest of the experience was not fantastic. The truck was good thoughLindsay B.

This was a awful experience. My rental was booked to start at 930, the vehicle was not yet back. I was told to come at 10. I waited for 45 more minutes and finally got the rental truck over an hour and a half late. I booked 10 moving blankets and got none. There were several people who did not get what they had booked. In order to have a company that uses vehicles (that need maintenance and people may be late returning), there needs to be an excess in vehicles so if you book and are confirmed you actually will get a vehicle. So disappointed with this experience and would not recommend the use of this company.Hannah M.

Drove to S'toon from Regina on Apr 17th to move furniture from S'toon to Regina one way. U Haul's system had been 'hacked' no one phoned us, no vehicles could be leased, drive back to Regina after arrangements to store furniture. Drove to S'toon on the 24th, U Haul accommodated us with basically a free truck - awesome! Drove to Regina, next day went to return the truck at the Regina Broad St U Haul, they said they could not take the truck, could not understand our return document. Went to Regina Park St U Haul, waited half an hour, they said they could not take the truck there either, could not confirm our documents, sent us to a third location Hill Consulting on Cameron St, they took the truck no problem, couldn't figure out why the other U Haul locations would not take the truck. If you are returning a U Haul to Regina go to Hill Consulting, they are great!David H.
The service at the location is excellent. But I had a very bad experience with the uhaul general cx service. I went to 303 Owen manor and did the reservation, but they scheduled pick up location at Millar Ave. Not able to change the location online and every time phoned the cx they just kept transferring me to a different dept after 45 mins hold. I eventually pick up and return the truck at Millar which makes me pay at least 20 $more and wasting of my time. Will never recommend my customer to choose U-haul again.Minkai Z.

i reserved a 10*14 unit about a month ahead and called few times later to confirm it as I was bringing stuff from a small town 2 hours away and didn't want any disappointment. each time I called staff confirmed my reservation. even on the date of move I called the facility and the lady on staff confirmed the reservation and didn't mention anything about it being not available. few hours later when i reached the facility they said unit was not available, I had to cram my stuff into a smaller unit of 10*10 and ultimately had to buy another unit 10*5 additionally paying 80$. Also staff didn't' offer any insurance despite asking multiple times. now some of my cushions are permanently damaged and I request U-HAUL to pay my damages and reduce the the rental fee.
