The tech hooked up the old trailer I was rented and walked away without even LOOKING at the tires. I immediately went to my daughter's apartment and checked the pressure: One tire was underinflated at 25 PSI, and one was over inflated at 60 PSI. I was signed up to tow 1600+ miles. I cannot believe U-Haul is still in business given how poorly you work for your customers.

The only problem I had was I had to drive an hour out of my way to get the equipment needed and them for me to return the equipment to a local store would have cost me an extra 30 dollars. At very least that fee should of been discounted due to not have the equipment availablr in my local store.

This was the worst experience we have had and we have moved once a year for 9 years now. First our pick up location was changed adding miles (which we paid extra out of pocket for), when I made the reservations I was quoted 50 miles, the night before I noticed it had been reduced to only 33 miles. Fortunately a representative on the uhaul customer service phone line was able to help reconcile some but not all of these miles. They did not have anything at the pick up location that we had reserved (and confirmed) upon arrival for pick up. Not a dolly, not a furniture dolly, not a single furniture pad and almost didnt have a truck as There was no truck upon arrival at this designated full service uhaul location. This made our move significantly more difficult. They did scrounge up an appliance dolly which in no way applied to our move. This was careless and irresponsible of uhaul to confirm these reservations just 24 hrs before and not have one single item. It was by chance we lucked into a truck and one appliance dolly that wasnt even used the entire move because it had no base to sit boxes or furniture on. It was completely useless. The staff was completely incapable of any forethought to any reservation or preparations. They fumbled through the pick up which took about an hour to get through and we were the only ones there. We wont use uhaul again. This cost us so much trouble. I will say when we called with an issue dealing with returning the truck Tiffany at the call center was a gem! Keep her! Have her train the rest of them! She was very helpful even though the was nothing uhaul could do it was a power outage in our town that lasted through the night preventing us from filling the tank. She was very kind and courteous and professional. The only pleasant part of this experience was that call.

We were given a different UHaul to the one listed on the paperwork we were given. When we came back to return it, which was at about 9:15pm since our return time was 10pm, we weren’t able to do so since it would state that the mileage was different to the one listed on the paperwork and we wouldn’t understand what was happening. We called customer service and stayed for over an hour on the phone to try and solve this problem. we also had to fill in more gas than we were given since the gas was different on the paperwork than on the actual uhaul we had. It was a very hectic night and we were extremely tired since we had just moved into a new house all of our furniture. It quite disappointing since we had had a very good experience with the uhaul until that moment.

Not a local issue.. I reserved a 10' truck and was called at the last min. and told I could only have a 15' truck. An additional $400 in fuel cost to me!! Bate and switch on the U-Haul side!!! No help when I called for assistance. NOT GOOD.

No one told me a lock was included and they let me purchase a lock after clearly saying "i guess i have to get this since im keeping it overnight". I was able to return it but it would have been nice if it had been mentioned beforehand. Also nothing online indicated the 10ft truck didnt have a ramp, even after adding a furniture dolly, the system shouldn't allow for a useless dolly if the truck has no ramp. Had to upgrade on the spot to a more expensive truck. The crew outside when I dropped the truck off was rude. They were checking in another truck right at the entrance to the lot instead of any of the open return lanes, making it so myself and the car behind me were stuck half pulled in half still on the busy road unable to enter. The man was rude when I asked if he was going to pull up. Then after I was able to all crew walked away and no one greeted me so I went inside not knowing the procedure, I was rudely told "you the one dropping off? Yeah theyre talking about you".

I had several problems with my uhaul experience. I reserved my uhaul 2 weeks prior to the day I needed it. When I called to see if I could pick it up a day early I was told that my reservation was cancelled and that uhaul was not obligated to send me an email about it. I was then on hold for almost an hour just for the guy to find my original reservation. When I went to pick up my uhaul trailer, I was charged for an in town rental instead of the one way that was specified in my reservation, so when I dropped it off in Lake Charles LA I was charged an additional $172 although the Savannah store admitted it was their fault. I then called corporate customer service where I was given the run around yet again and was placed on hold for 30 minutes after my call was taken and I was put back in line for some reason. Honestly, this is the worst customer service I have ever received and I just want my money back because this was never my fault to begin with.

Provide the truck size I requested. I requested a 10' truck but one wasn't available. I was given a 15' truck at the same price, which was OK but it wasn't what I requested or wanted as the larger truck is more expensive to operate and more difficult to drive.

I had two Uboxes, the storage company only had record of one, the moving company that delivered the Ubox was 2 days late and then 2 days late picking up the box once emptied, blocking my driveway and earning me a notice from the home owners association. Not good service, while the Uhaul employees were nice, they were not on top of their game.

First of all I show up at the location and you don’t even have the truck I ordered. No one bothered to call and tell me. I got all the way there and they didn’t have my truck and instead had to give me a 26” truck that I had to drive by myself which was terrifying and way inconvenient for the place I was moving out of. I had to figure out how to fit this truck in my parking area and then drive it by myself as a 20 year old women who doesn’t even drive that often. They had NO OTHER VEHICLES AVAILABLE. Then they charged me a hold on my card which HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED IN OVER A WEEK. ON TOP OF THE FINAL CHARGE. So now paying $158.69 instead of the $100 I should have paid for the rental. They told me it’s just a hold but I called my bank and they said that they already processed it and took the money!!!!!!! I was double charged for attitude from every employee I came across (including when I called to tell them my bank is telling me I will not get a refund), them not having the truck and not bothering to even let me know, getting a truck way to big for me to handle, and just generally terrible customer service and business practices by not giving me back my money. I’m disappointed and furious. I want my money back. I wish I didn’t even pay for the service itself. This is absolutely ridiculous and infuriating that they won’t even help me and just give me attitude non stop. How do they get away with taking my money for a full week and probably more cause I’ll have to fight to get my money back. I’m so angry. I never want to use this service ever again and I suggest no one else does either.

There were no issues with this location, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The problem was Uhaul in general. I reserved a truck 2 weeks before my move and received a confirmation email. I called my pickup location in Rincon, GA 3 days prior and they confirmed it as well. Then they called back the day before my move saying there was not going to be a truck after all, and that I needed to call the Savannah, GA office. They told me there was no truck for me at my requested location and that I could get a different one in Bluffton, SC or Savannah, GA. Both locations were much farther from me. They did offer me a discount to cover the extra mileage, but this should not have been necessary if handled properly. What's the point of scheduling so far ahead if at the last minute, I'm told I have to get a different truck at a farther location that was much out of my way? Will not use Uhaul for my next move.

You wait a long time even if you have a reservation. I waited an hour past my reservation time. Also make sure you check to see they didnt already unhook the dolly that they charge you for in the back. Mine came unhooked so I was charged for its rental. They left the back of my truck open before I drove off too. I was also frustrated because I booked my reservation at a closer location to me, it popped up online at this location instead, so I contacted tech support and they assured me it would change back to my desired location. It didn't, and I had to pay extra mileage and fuel to inconvenience myself. When I told the worker about it he just said that's how it works, and they can send you anywhere they need the truck. What a scam. Why am I paying to move your trucks around? I do not intend on ever using uhaul again. I'll check out competitors next time.

I was looking for a U-Haul truck at the last minute and this facility had an available truck. I made a reservation to pick up at 6pm, when I arrived, the current renter had not yet returned the truck, so I was immediately offered a larger truck at the same price. Pick up and drop off was incredibly fast and easy. I will definitely use this location for any future U-Haul rentals

I had reserved a truck well in advance, then got a call two days prior to my move saying there was no truck available at the location I booked. They did tell me that the new location (Ogeechee Hwy) had a 10 foot truck for me and I could pick it up at 8a.m. When I arrived, I was told there was no truck, I wasn't "assigned a location" and there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't even call another location for me! After much back and forth and basically telling them I flew 1500 miles to move my daughter on this date, they gave me someone else's truck. I'm sure that person is just as unhappy as I am! Terrible process and even worse customer service! Truck driver seat was stuck in one position, making it difficult for me to reach the pedals - VERY unsafe!! I did tell the staff about this. Also, the doors were extremely difficult to close. At one point, I had to pull over on the highway to close the door. Again, I told staff, but I don't believe they even wrote it down!

Overall service was awesome. Your computer system however needs attention. I arrived at 4:45pm there were 3 customer's ahead of me and the two young ladies were struggling because of the system crashing. When I finally got to the counter young lady put all my info in and all the computers crashed she ended up hand writing a rental agreement after trying to get the system to put it threw several times. I didn't pull off the lot until 5:45pm. Did I mention the employees were awesome and handled the situation perfectly...
