I've used uhaul for year's off and on this was my first bad experience and some of the staff aren't customer service friendly some off my items was taking out of a storage i lost some thing's that held sentimental value the guy Jeremy isnt to pleasant he got mad cause i wouldn't move my car one time i was up there cause i was trying to figure out where my items were and every time since than when i come in there he wouldn't help me one time he said something smart this last time he wasnt doing nothing and he wouldn't help me he told the other young man to do it when he wasn't busy I think the young man name was jamel he was very respectful and helpful shay was friendly and helpful as well but the one stand out the most is Anthony Howard he took time to really find out what happened and spoke to me with concern him overall is my mvp Sherrie was ok she tried but i still say Mr Howard held my ordeal the bestGale A. | Expérience générale
It's crazy to drive 45 minutes to pick up the truck and then drive 45 minutes to return it and keep paying for milage when there are U-Haul rental centers closer to me. I will go elsewhere next timeJOSEPH R.

The staff were great. Especially the young man, Chris?, that helped me check out after hours of waiting. The older gentleman who brought the truck to me and helped me load my car on the tow, he was so genuine and kind. I wish I could the world had more of him. I don't know his name but he mentioned he had lost some vision in one of his eyes. He deserves a raise, a promotion and a bonus. I will say that I think it's unacceptable to accept reservations a month in advance and not have trucks ready to go, or even on hand, when customers show up to pick them up. It's rude and shows a lack of respect and disregard for your customers and their time and money. I would not rent through U-Haul again because of this.Kirsten F.

The location does not take incoming calls on the weekend although they are opened all day and they do not have extra keys to the vehicles The picture they send during the checkout process is never the picture of the actual van you are renting. I was locked out of the rental from 7PM Oct 30th until 2:00 Oct 31st. I was locked out of my house all night. Luckily my car was unlocked and I was able to sleep in the cold car. The bottom line is the online service keep updating to help had arrived but help never came. I tried calling Saturday evening from a neighbor's phone but was kept on hold for over 4 hours. After I finally gain access to the van around 2 pm Sunday Oct 31 with the assistance of a Deputy Sheriff, I discovered that the online assistance was sending text messages to my cell. I am not understanding why when I clearly put my email address when I submitted for the online help. I did not have access to my cell phone because it was also locked in the van along with the van keys, my car keys, house keys, eye glasses and purse. Your online assistance need to be updated to give accurate status and your personnel need to be held accountable to be honest about whether or not they have aided a customer. Also you all need to have at least two set of keys to each vehicle. No one should ever have to go through what I endured. Lastly, when a customer is booking a vehicle, especially when it is a in person front counter reservation, there should never be a discrepancy in the customers reservation. I have had two bad experiences for two executive weekends dealing with renting a UHaul.CYNTHIA S.
The truck was filthy inside and out. It smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke, the we had to ride with the windows down the entire time. The drivers door had damage that prevented the door from closing properly. The maintenance light was on when I picked the truck up. The 24/7 pickup did not work at 8 PM on the supposed day of pickup. I had to wait until the store opened the next morning to pickup the truck. The clerk seemed inconvenienced by my presence when I picked up the truck. Overall, this was a poor experience.RYAN G.
The customer service here was done very very poorly I had a rough day moving in the rain and to top it off my reservation was cancelled through another u haul facility and when trying to extend my hours with the truck I rented was treated very poorly I had to call U-Haul itself to get that doneScott C.

I returned my truck and the signs instructed you to wait in your vehicle. I went inside after waiting a several minutes in the truck. When I walked inside, I was told to leave my keys in the truck and someone would come out and I would have a return receipt within 3 or 4 minutes. After waiting about 10 minutes, I went ahead and left. About 5 minutes later I got a receipt and they charged me for 2 gallons of gas when I left the truck gas level exactly where it was when I picked up the truck.CHRISTOPHER M.

My only issue was that a freeloader kept stuff (or maybe it was just Uhaul stuff) stored in the bay next to mine. That is not a rentable bay according to the maps and I rented the specific bay I did because there was not supposed to be any stuff next to it.Kenneth W. | Expérience générale

Regarding the staff: Da'rian (he works with the trucks) and his trainee, helped us from the moment we walked in, and they were courteous and very willing to work us. They were way more helpful than the clerks whose job is was to handle storage facilities. The two clerks, a young lady and man, were slow and disconnected from us. At one point, I had no idea the young man was speaking to me because he and the young lady were laughing and joking like there was some kind of inside joke we weren't privy to. It was uncomfortable for me as a patron. Finally, he asked me directly to give him a code. I had no idea he wanted this from me because he was just saying "four digit number" without directly addressing me. The two clerks weren't outright rude, but their demeanor and the looks they gave each other made it seem like we were the focus of a joke. Again, it was really uncomfortable for my husband and me and not how customers should be made to feel after spending nearly 200 $in their facility. Additionally, when they learned that I had rented a 5x5x7 locker, they immediately tried to upsell me on a larger locker, which is fine, I wanted the next size up, but there were none available. And the only storage locker, besides the one we were renting, was way too big for what we needed. When we asked to see our locker, we're were told again it was small, like a linen closet or a pantry. Again, I realize upselling is a part of the sales process, but they had nothing else to offer me that was suitable for my needs. I asked if there was a waiting list for the larger size, and instead of speaking to me, she told Da'rian, "I don't think they do that." Now, after all the upselling the young lady was trying to do, she wouldn't ask if there was a waiting list for a larger locker. Again, she didn't directly engage me-the customer-and at that point we had been there about 45 minutes, so I didn't have anymore time to waste hunting down that answer. Also, we had purchased 10 boxes, but no one came out to the floor to assist us. My husband had to cut the plastic straps himself, and we literally could've taken as many boxes as we wanted since nobody was paying attention to us or assisting us with this part of our purchase. We just took our 10 boxes and left-we addressed them by thanking them and saying goodbye, but we didn't receive any salutation from the staff.Matthew T. | Premières impressions
