Latasha was professional and thorough. She made the process smooth, yet she was the only one to assist at the counter while also helping out in the yard. It was quite a wait. As a suggestion, place a counter device to alert the staff in the yard a customer is waiting.

At both locations, there was only one nice lady handline both inside and outside transactions at the same time. Inefficient and uncomfortable for renters.

I changed my return reservation to this location due to the friendliness of the staff and how the facility appeared while researching online compared to other facilities. When dealing with staff at my pick up location, it was a horrible experience and if I hadn't needed to use their service, I would have walked out and I have rented from uhual SEVERAL times in the past. The truck had issues and had a gas issue. It cost me over 1 100 $in gas to drive 3200 miles in a 20ft truck which is completely unheard of. I have made this trip several times and NEVER had the issues I had this time. Pick up staff didn't care about the truck and it's gas (and break) issues and hung up on me. The staff here, though they couldn't do anything to change what happened on the west coast, were very sincere and very kind. Their storage units are clean and climate controlled and VERY secure. I would definitely recommend this location for both storage and moving. Thank you for making the end of my trip stress free!

I was told when I made the agreement I was purchasing the blankets but when I returned them I was told I am renting blankets and pads. I left the blankets at the location I was storing furniture and forced to purchase the blankets. There were never any pads. U Haul appears to be a dishonest company

The truck was just OK. It ran great and didn't give me any mechanical problems. Ice cold A/C, comfortable seats (for a big box truck), easy and accessible controls, and good responsiveness. The reason it was just "OK" is because the driver door was warped so you really had to slam it shut hard to get it to properly close - the passenger side wasn't as bad, but still bad. The steering was VERY loose and going over potholes or bumps in the road was a bit sketchy since the truck would veer left or right. Also, the alignment was off. The steering wheel was turned to about the 1:30 position and the truck was driving straight. It was an older truck though with 110k on the clock.

My entire experience was amazing. I had to make last minute changes & Rana & her staff were more than accommodating. The facility is spotless & they provide carts for a seamless move. I am so happy that I chose them!

We had a very difficult time communicating with the receiving Uhaul location in Asheville as I had confirmed delivery of pods to my home multiple times with multiple people and they were not delicered on the scheduled day. Once I got in touch with the manager she was apologetic and said she would reach back out and wanted to reimburse me for some of the trouble and then never called me back. The same happened with picking up the pods. I scheduled and confirmed with 3-4 people and there were multiple miscommunications of when we were on the schedule. Overall not a great experience with Uhaul.

What a great experience we had with Rana! She was professional, helpful and a delight to work with. We have used another U-Haul a few miles down the road on previous occasions but not any more. We'll always use this location from now on as the experience was so much better.

I am VERY dissatisfied with the final charges levied after the truck was returned. First off, when you rent the truck the fuel is not full, but noted the gas gauge is at some level and the renter is expected to return it at the same level. I filled the truck to the level l saw when l took possession. My card was debited for more fuel which was NOT where the level was when l initially took possession. Secondly, my account was debited a “late fee” because l returned the truck some hour or so after the facility closed. My rental fees were not expired until approximately 16 hours after l returned the truck, yet l am charged a late fee because your facility was closed when l did return the truck. Talk about having your cake and eating it too! Never again with these charges

I wish all of U Haul was like this Asheville branch. They seriously go above and beyond. When I couldn't get help at the usual U haul number the manager gave me her cell phone number. I had a horrible time with the shipping of my U Haul box and the team and Asheville really turned things around. Also, great communication about delivering and picking up the box from their facility and my new house.

All processes were smooth on checking in via computer. They were most accomodating with both my truck and trailer. I highly recommend this location.

The only negative was the storage center closed at 7:00 pm. There were two times minimum that I needed something out of storage after 7:00 pm. On the first of those instances, I drove to the storage unit, having not realized it closed at 7 PM.

The mobile pick up option took way longer than it should have. They asked to contact two separate people right there on the spot without forewarning before I could have the truck which was nearly impossible that early on a Monday. Then the employee couldn't even find the keys to our truck. This mobile option was supposed to be quicker but it took just as long as if we would've just waited in line not to mention COVID. I'll take my business to another truck rental for my next move

Drop off was the smoothest transition ever! It took minutes and they had me on my way. This is an amazing location with a large selection of anything you need for moving! And, the prices were great! Although I was moving to the area and not needing supplies at this time, I will revisit IF I need them and highly recommend to anyone else!!

I had a reservation on Brevard Road - but the trucks were all rented out when I arrived. I had to go to Sweeten Creek Road where the size of truck I wanted was not available. The person who was doing my reservation was young and immature and "sad" about his toy breaking. I waited forever to get my truck and it was old and janky.

The on line check in was tedious and felt longer than in store check in, if there were a couple of staff people in the store. So I went In for help. One person at desk with client that needed a great deal of assistance. 5 people deep waiting for help. No one to help clerk that was doing her best. Either more staff or get on line check in quicker and easier.

It would be helpful to have a place to throw away trash on site. I would have been willing to pay to be able to do that. There are so many trucks that it is hard to get in and out sometimes and I don't always understand why they park things where they do - in driveway of garages, etc. All in all - good experience.

Tha manager at the Sweeten Creek U haul was very efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Her facility is really nice and very clean. I also had a couple experiences with the young woman doing the cleaning maintenance and she was so pleasant and friendly. Top notch experience

Very very unorganized! Didn't discuss actual charges. Led me to believe I was paying a different amount, and then charged my card more than the amount they told me. They never answer the phone and are super slow! I will not be back!!!!!

The representative on duty was extremely patient and helpful during my visit. Though I arrived close to closing time and she was the only one on duty, she took her time explaining things to me, answering my questions, and showing me how to access my storage unit. Rana and her team have been great since day one. Always accommodating and helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. I had a storage unit here for 20 months with zero issues and always always helpful staff were on hand should I need it. I also rented a truck 4 times from them and no problems there either. I wish there was somewhere to leave recycling (cardboard and paper) without a charge to me but I would still highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The cost per storage room is extremely high. The cost of the unit should include basic insurance coverage, it is unreasonable to require additional insurance be purchased. It is also unreasonable to enforce a specific type of lock that has to be bought at the uhaul facility.

My only complaint is not with the facility or staff but the fact that I was given the wrong address for the arrival of the U-Box when I placed the reservation. The staff here helped me locate it.
