My household and I have rented a few times at this Uhaul location. The staff are helpful, friendly, and thorough with the rental process. They take the time to explain to us what to expect and how to make the overall experience pleasant. This most recent rental, the customer experience manager handled our rental order with care. He saw our current order and checked in with us whether we wanted to increase our rental time, in case things would run late. We initially declined, and he said to call him in case it does go overtime and he'll help us handle it. This man has vetted experience because we did need the extra hour. My household will continue to visit this Uhaul location so long as our experience on the customer and logistics end are unbeatable. This Uhaul location defines excellent service.

The Store manager over charged me and tried to debit my bank account without my knowledge when I already paid for what I used and didnt even input my receipt. Long wait times unknowledgable very unprofessional and fraudulant I will be calling corporate.

Well first i will start with. NEW STAFF . Kimberly was super rude when my husband when inside to pick up the truck because she count understand his english well . He gave her my card so she can see how my name is spelled . I had to go inside and resolve the situation . She dis not prepare my equipment dolly was left at the door and we had to put it in the truck . Truck was not even ready for pick up .it was super cold and we had to walk around the building to go in the truck .very racist i would say . !! Second of all the lady that was with her was no help when i had to leave the store and come back with the card because it wasn't saves they were giggling and talking under their breath .!! Super RUDE AND RACIST. Kimberly said she will charge me for 17' truck but ended charging my account for the 20' even though thats not what i asked for and when i returned it thats when she said the system will charge for the 17' truck so i was short on money for the moving because she charged my card 165 instead of the price for the 17' truck . her customer service is at a negative 100 very disgusting attitude . I will not go there again or recommend i rather drive to kalamazoo and pick a truck and return here with no contact with staff . You guys should fire her she is super racist and unprofessional

I was very unhappy about hidden charges I had to pay. I was misled when I initially called to make the box reservation. I was charged for 3 boxes when I only used 2 and had to call and point this out. I was never reimbursed on the insurance for the 3rd box that I never used, and called numerous times to get this reimbursed to no avail. I was charged $175.00 for storage for 2 days because I didn't get it out of the U-Haul facilities before my 30-day storage was up. I didn't have a place to store it until 2 days later and I was charged $175.00. UNBELIEVABLE!

The customer service was perfect. I have to say that the owner of the location I went to Christy Harrison was very pleasant and I had no issues what so ever renting a truck. If I ever need to rent a truck again I'll definitely be going to her location.

The lady who worked the front desk on Friday when I checked out and the same lady was extremely rude to myself, my daughter, and other customers. Not only did she make rude comments, she yelled and made threats. I will NEVER, EVER, visit this locations. I have rented from UHAUL for over 15 years, always have been courteous to your staff and returned your trucks with no damages/issues. I have never, in 15 years, so disappointed and appalled by the way myself and others were treated by your staff.

There was only customer service representative handling a line of customers. She was doing a great job to be working alone, but the transaction took 30 minutes even with a reservation. The restroom was dirty which is dangerous during these times.

After paying the $622 even though you guys fucked up I had to pay an additional $5 for gas upon dropping off......probably due to the additional 30 minutes I had to drive to pick up the van from the location in the original fuck up you guys made. Overall ya'll are trash and you know that but you have a pretty solid monopoly on moving and storage so you don't really care which again is fucked up. So fuck you, keep fucking up and fucking people over.

Never used the equipment i basically rented for 3 days for nothing because i never moved so the uhaul sat in front of my home for 3days and i was charged almost $100 well $90 to be exact and this location is absolutely horrible some of the staff are unprofessional and the wait to rent and return are extremely long would not recommend to anyone

We reserved the UHaul back on August 26. As we were on our way to New Bufalo (which is where we reserved the UHaul) we got a call from UHaul stating the the UHaul that we reserved was not going to be ready at the time that we had requested. I told the man on the phone that we must have the Uhaul today as we were picking up furniture. He called Uhaul and sent us all the way over to South Bend to have to pick up the truck. So, we had to drive from Indianapolis, to New Buffalo, to South Bend, to Three Points MI (which is where we were originally going), back to Indianapolis. When the man from Uhaul called us to tell us that the truck was not going to be ready and we told him that would not work he had an attitude of too bad. I told him he HAD to find us another truck as we HAD to get the furniture moved today and the store we purchased from was closing that afternoon. He said he would do what he could. After continuing to drive north toward New Buffalo not knowing where we were going to get the truck, I called him back and told him we could take a smaller truck but we HAD to have one today. He told us (when I called back) that the truck was in South Bend and he would text us the address. We never heard from him and used GPS to head us toward South Bend. After driving for over 30 more minutes "toward" South Bend we received the text and were able to pick up the truck. When we got to South Bend we were told the price which was HIGHER for a smaller truck that what I reserved on line. We got a 20 foot truck and we reserved a 26 foot truck. When I questioned the lady at the counter in South Bend why I was paying more for less of a truck she said, "beats me." At that point we needed the truck and decided to pay it and move on. We have NEVER experienced this kind of lack of professionalism and, after this experience, are rather disheartened. We have rented Uhaul trucks countess times before and have never had this kind of issue. The truck issue aside, the lack of professionalism is something that seems rather sad. We will think twice before booking a Uhaul again.

Employee upon return was unhelpful. He never even acknowledged me. It was close to closing time and I was unable to back trailer in because another customer was picking up a trailer. By the time the other customer was finished and I was able to back trailer in it was just after 5pm. Employee knew I was there and knew I had to wait for someone else to move to be able to drop off my trailer but was gone by the time I finished unhooking my trailer. Very poor service!

You really need to work on your company because somebody told they got a deposit coming back and then they get back with the truck one time and everything and then they don't give me the deposit back no I'll never deal with your company again and I will recommend it to my friends that I do not use U-Haul again

I submitted a complaint and still no one has contacted me. 1. My pick up time time was 9 am. No one even came to unlock the door until after 9:36 am 2. Then the trail wires were bad so had to switch trailers which took even more time. 3. I had people at the apartment to to move at 9:30. And could not even start until the they returned at 10:36. With the uhaul. We also had people at the other end to help unload, which cased a Hugh issue 4. I'd like a refund for the entire amount for the inconvenience you have caused. 5. And the owner of the company( Christy Harrison) never had the decency to respond to my complaint Number 2856330

I wanted to rent for more than 24 hours when I made my reservation online, but the only option listed was 24 hours. When I realized that there was no way we could unload and get the truck back on time, I requested an extension online, but it was kind of a hassle to have to think about that during the big move we were in the middle of making. I wish I could have rented online for a longer period than 24 hours. Otherwise, everything was great.

While the location was okay, overall operation of uhaul is questionable. Although U Haul promotes you can rent a truck for 19.95 the reality is that the minimum cost is will be 50 plus gas charge. This misleading advertisement is disappointing. Will look for alternative methods next time.

I think sanitation wipes and or hand sanitizer inside the front door would be good since the door is hand opened. Also, same goes for the credit card reader and signing pen. Other than those things, the ladies who helped me were very pleasant and efficient.

I set up the pick-up as contactless, but it was not that. After providing images of my driver's license and passport, I had to get the key from someone who had a mask pulled down under her chin. In addition, I had requested a set of a dozen furniture pads and received none. The entire pick-up process took better than 45 minutes. Now I have to dispute the incorrect fuel gauge reading. Per U-haul records it had a 15/16 reading. Lucky for me I took a date and time stamped photo of the reading of 1/2 tank. Now I have to dispute a subsequent fuel charge.
