Just one thing the rental seemed to be dragging maybe needs service. Also check out mileage did not match what i saw when i turned it on and i had them adjust. Not cool

Jim O.More thorough cleaning of trucks would be appropriate. Residue of liquid solution used to wipe down interior still very obviously visible. though many surfaces gunny and sticky. Steering wheel sticky and tissues stuffed up into the seat belt retractor. The first truck I was given had its engine light come on before I even left the rental lot. It was replaced with another truck with only a quarter tank of gas, developed a flat tire requiring road side assistance and its engine light came on as well eventually. Both trucks had considerable levels of damage to the degree that I felt the need to photograph the exterior to eliminate any discrepancies over old damage.
Edward H.My husband picked up a 15ft. truck with an attached trailer, drove 2 blocks and the truck stopped running. He was unable to speak directly to anyone at the location, having to go through corporate for road-side assistance and then towing. During this time the truck was stopped in the left lane on the busiest highway in Ft. Myers, where the police insisted my husband had to stay with the truck and trailer until the truck was towed. The tow truck driver phoned my husband to tell him his ETA, but then proceeded to state he was only going to tow the truck not the trailer. The tow truck did end up taking both in the end. At no time did anyone from Uhaul offer to come stay with the truck or give my husband a ride. He was told once he was able to leave the scene he could come back to the location and they would try to get him another truck and trailer. My husband was stuck in the road with the broken down truck for over two hours while we had hired movers who were at our home and we were being charged by the hour. I had to leave our home to go to the original location where I was going to try and speak directly to someone, which I did. After a heated discussion with Eli, he set me up with a new truck and trailer, which was very helpful, but my husband was still stuck with the original truck and trailer unable to leave as he was waiting on the tow truck driver. Ultimately, I had to have a friend come pick my husband up and bring him to the location where he had left his car when picking up the truck. Per the road-side assistance person, there was no oil in the truck which caused the engine to seize. When I asked Eli how this could possibly happen, he replied that the vehicles are serviced somewhere else not at the location of pick up. We needed to be out of our home completely the day of rental as we had closed on our home. I had to call out of work for the day to assist with this unacceptable fiasco. When I spoke with a female from corporate, I asked her if this rental was going to be free now, she stated absolutely not. Once receiving the truck we only had it for no more than 3 hours. I am beyond disappointed and disgusted with the overall handling of this situation. At a bare minimum, we should not have been charged for this rental for all our inconvenience, stress, lost wages, and having to pay our movers longer than we should have. Michael H.I was very disappointed with the wait time. I had a 9am reservation on Saturday morning and found the counter 6 people thick. I was 15 minutes early. I was finally waited on at 9:15. Basically, a 30 minute wait. A man in a different color shirt. (green versus brown). Walked in and apologized for the long wait. He yelled, “sorry, but some people don't want to workâ€. I guess someone called off. After getting through the line 20 minutes later, I went outside and in the parking lot was the same man in the green shirt. He was just standing there… apparently “managing the parking lotâ€. Basically, a parking lot general. A competent manager sees need or problems and adapts to minimize problems. This parking lot jockey was not adaptable to minimize problems.

Scott P.I was scheduled to pick-up my U-Box on April 23. When I arrived they did not have the truck w/ hitch that I had discussed with reservations. I rescheduled for the following Saturday morning (April 30th) and returned truck and empty U-Box before noon. Later that day, I received a bill for $100+ for May storage. I've asked Discover to contest that charge as all of my business was completed in April. Disappointing and unresolved as of today, May 12th.

Michael H.Uhaul has got great service I rented a 6'x12' trailer and pulled it from Ft Myers Fl to Louisville Ky I had a flat in Beachgrove tenn an Uhaul s roadside assistance came and changed our tire bc and got us on the road in a hour half which was much appreciated I thank your service is good as any service could be I will only rent through Uhaul because they have good equipment and customer service that is fantastic that's for making our experience a great one.

David H. | Premières impressionsThe main problem is that we could never use the big door, always blocked by other pods, trucks, etc. My husband had tools and we're heavy so that was VERY inconvenient, and when asked about it, staff just replied that they didn't have anywhere to put stuff and the had other spaces they could have used. Also my card had been hacked and charged me 15 late charge instead of notifying me. And paying 95 a month for a small space was just too much considering other issues.
Sue J. | Expérience généraleThe reason why I said no to the lighting was because of the fact that the lights upstairs where my storage unit was does not stay on for more than 5 minutes and you have to keep going down the other way to send hit the sensor so the lights will come on other than that my experience with you was good and I would recommend you to other people but maybe you might want to do something about the upstairs light so when the lights come on they stay on until like 5 minutes after people are done something like that.

When I arrived I found out all available units were on the second floor, the person in office spoke negatively about the call center always screwing things up, and I would have to carry my boxes up stairs. I was sent out by the office to find it on my own in a sea of buildings. Fortunately Nigel helped us find the right building, helped us get in, and provide guidance on how best to get the boxes out of our truck and up the stairs. I answered yes to the question above about the staff being friendly and helpful because Nigel truly was. He saved what could have been a negative first impression.
