I believe there was too many furniture pads in my 1 UBox. I suggest that UHaul allow us to choose how many furniture pads we need, when we make the reservation for the UBox.
Ellen LDirt and grass in the trailer. So tired of staff having log in problems on U-Haul site. So time consuming when you want to get away.

WALTER BMy original reservation said I was Ely for a weekly rate which might be better than a daily rate with mileage I brought this up and the person said we do not honor that rate structure. ??????

KATIE HI have mixed reviews at the drop off location. I felt they could've cared less when I arrived. I had to go in and let them know that I was setting out in the return area. The person that assisted me didn't seem friendly. Maybe the pick-up location (Spanish Lake) spoiled me on what I should expect from U-Haul employees. However, they were nice when spoken too or when I asked questions. wJB

STEVE AStaff was good, but busy. When I did self checkin- the app crashed.
Travis HReservation was made via the uhaul website three weeks in advance. Verifiying the rental 5 days in advance gave the indication we may not have the rental due to your website booking. Once we received verification of the unit 2 days prior to pickup date we were relieved. When we arrived on the scheduled pickup time the truck was not ready to go, this resulted in a 20 minute delay after processing inside the store. Online reservation process and coordination with the physical stores needs improvement.

BRENT AThe worker was friendly and was working hard but there needed to be more staff there. He was by himself on a Sunday morning. His coworker called in sick he said, but the general manager Donald (his name was on the door) should have come in to speed things up.
ROD FThe store was supposed to open at 9. After I called customer service the employee showed up 30 minutes later and didn't say a word to any of the customers about the wait. When I dropped off the trailer the app would close when I went through the return pictures and checklist and finally closed and didn't show my reservation again so I don't know if it completed the return or not.
Clyde HOther than being very understaffed on a Sunday the poor kid was swamped. Was very professional and did the best he could under difficulty conditions.

Skylar MThe staff was extra cooperative. We rented the truck for a one way trip of 511 miles. That fell through,we ended up using it for a 3 day local run to empty out a parents home. The local U Haul franchise bent over backwards to to make it work. Thank you UHaul.

clinton lEmployees were not dressed appropriately they were cussing and not helpful at all. I had to hook up my trailer myself and unhook it when I dropped it off. She was very unprofessional. She looked like she was on drugs or something!

Emily TI used one of the UHAUL car trailers to transport a car from one shop to another. The equipment was in good working order. The issue that I have with this experience is that after we had dropped off the trailer as discussed, I received a call from one of the employees a day after the drop off indicating that we had not returned the trailer. Eventually the issue was resolved by the GM she indicated to me that the trailer was not properly checked in on their side and was re rented. I don't place the blame on the GM or the employee that called I place the blame on upper management at UHAUL for not having the location workflow/SOP etc. in order to a point that these simple blunders don't happen. So overall I would Chaulk this up to a learning experience. I know that it's hard to obtain, retain, and cultivate good help these days so I won't be too critical this is just the world that we live in now.

Elizabeth CThe U-Haul truck and personel were great! I was very frustrated that I had to pick up the rental from Grand Island when I made the request 2 weeks prior to pick it up in York (where I live). That was an extra 90 miles we paid at $1,19 per mile and an extra $40 in gas! For a 2 day rental (15' U-Haul) it cost us $278! Ouch! How can I request one in York and pick it up in York?

Gary WJazmin was friendly and helpful. She loaned us a adapter to help,so we didn't have to buy it when we already own but didn't have it with us. Explained everything and we were on our way. Also the customer service representatives were great when I called and spoke to them each time but especially the last time. Linda Richter was amazing. She listened as I explained and found in the record what I was talking about then helped so I could get pictures uploaded to the contract proving that we returned the trailer and adapter we had borrowed. The emailed back letting me know she has done that and later that afternoon I received my finalized receipt so I am very happy and will be back again.

ginger aHave a truck assigned to me so I cold pickup at the time I asked, before they opened. Truck door was damaged and did not close / sealer properly. Lot of wind noise.

Jose YWell, you really don't have much choice about location. My one recommendation is to use a company location instead of the neighborhood UHaul locations since the inventory is usually better at the U-Haul Center locations. Also, be prepared to pay a steep fee for a change to the original contract drop off location.

A single stretch of lights over each row of units could easily be installed at low cost. Access after office hours would have been nice too.

It only give you an hour during the week to be able to access your unit. I kept papers that were needed and it was hard to get them before a Saturday. Other than that , the service was good. Not sure the employee's but a young gentleman, couldn't have nicer or helpful.
