Poor service from the staff who greeted me. He wasn't there at the time of delivery. I had to wait, and he arrived, apparently annoyed, and asked me to remove the connection cables myself. He didn't give me any receipt for the return.

This location was fine except it's not the location I wanted to rent from because it was an hours drive in traffic from my home and 15 miles the opposite direction from where I was going. There is a very large newer U-Haul location with a huge inventory and storage units a mile from my home and U-Haul always sends me to a location further away. I realize that some locations that are smaller may not always have inventory but this has happened 3 times in my last 4 rentals both as a walk in ( once) and 3 with a reservation.

After dropping off the trailer and calling the 800-go-u-haul line to confirm drop off, I was told that the equipment was not received. I made multiple follow up phone calls to confirm the trailer was received. I was told a regional manager would call me back. I never received a return call.

Over charged me for gas when I got it itnwas less than half of a tank 225 miles....you over charged me by 40 dollars on gas.....drop off location was way out of my way and they werent ready for me .....understaffed

This was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul, and I mean EVER. I've been a loyal customer for years you can check my record. I hope moving forward yall can put a system in place to better serve the customer in this situation.

I use this location ALL the time. Brandon is very helpful and I always have a great experience here. HOWEVER...my original drop off location was Allcell Repair, which is 1/2 hour drive from my house. St. Petersburg did not ask me where I wanted to drop the trailer, he just told me to take it to Allcell, as they were "supposed" to have after hours drop off. They DO NOT. I arrive to find a locked gate, 4 trailers on their lot with 3' tall grass. The place is a hole in the wall and looks abandoned. So I'm sitting on the side of the road with traffic flying past me at 60-70 MPH with my 6 year old daughter in my vehicle, trying to get Uhaul customer service on the phone to change the drop off location. I decide to head towards home while I'm still on hold. A representative finally answers and changes the drop off to South Ocala just as I'm pulling in their lot at 4:50. They close at 5:00. Brandon was STILL helpful and he unloaded the trailer for me and checked it in. Again, I'm VERY HAPPY with South Ocala, but Allcell is a desolate dump and needs to be removed from your locations. I not only wasted an hour of my time, but also 1/4 tank of gas to drive there and back. I am extremely upset about being set up to drop at Allcell.

The unit may need some updating. Clean the ceiling & walls. There was a substance on the ceiling that dropped onto my belongings. It was dusty & crumbly stuff. Probably old insulation that needs to be cleaned out of the unit.

Dropped off trailer here. Representative made it seem like he was doing me a favor. When I first got there no one was there. I called support and they said he was on the property. Door was locked. We waited and when he arrived He was upset and really didn't want to even talk to me. No. I will not rent here or even rent storage here.

There was a crack in the wall, in which I could see daylight through. Didn't notice upon move in as it was cloudy. Whilst moving out found some of belongings wet and riddled with bugs. They did not go in that way.

And personel wasn't friendly it was "put in the system wrong" so I didn't get refunded what I was supposed to & instead of figuring out how I needed the refund a paper check of way less then what was owed to me was sent TO THE WRONG ADDRESS - no common sense and no help what so ever. UHAUL SUCKS YOU OWE ME MONEY - not to mention I've been supposed to hear from a supervisor multiple times and no one calls.

My whole month was prepaid til the 9th of January, i was terminated 12/27 without my consent and not even an email notice, text or call, if this is the way business is done at this location it leaves much to be desired. If i paid for a whole month i should have gotten a whole months service.

The location was supposed to be open but no one was there and the door was locked. The application took about 25 minutes to check in bc the location had bad cell service. I would have liked to be help by a person to expedite the check in rather than using my app but no one was inside to assist even though it was within store hours. Also the vehicles front tires were not well it's almost like they were pointed inward and it was terrible to drive pulling in all directions. We are thankful we only had a short distance to go. Please have a mechanic review this vehicle before you continue to let people drive it.

I don't like how the guy made me drive to the back to get the truck. Then the truck was only on a quarter of a tank. He wanted it to come back on half when it was not half a tank in there. They always step out and we have to wait for them to come back.

Storage facility looks like it constantly floods. The handle to open unit is corroded as well as the door. I'm afraid that if it rains everything that I own is in the locker and may be destroyed. I would prefer and I will request in person as well, for a locker on higher ground. Also, I was informed when I rented the truck that my first month would be free. It was not. I was charged the full fee. There was no "free" lock available in the locker upon move in, as stated to me.

The lady who checked me in was AMAZING and very helpful. She was the best thing about my experience there. Once I realized our original unit was not going to be sufficient, she changed our unit to a bigger one even though it was a little past closing time as she was still moving trucks around the parking lot. However, there were a few issues with your storage area: The bathrooms at the main office: one was locked and inaccessible; the second was available but had no toilet paper and was very messy. Our original storage unit was in the second section of climate controlled storage. Neither of the doors to access those units opened completely due to the concrete buckling, making it very difficult to take items through the doors, and making the carts you provide basically unusable because of this. One of the carts was also missing a wheel, making it difficult to use. It was a very frustrating trial to attempt to load or unload anything into this section.

Brandon, you were very disrespectful towards my wife and me. We had a reservation that clearly your location guarantee would be there and it was not. Then you sent us on a dummy mission because you double booked a truck that another customer was getting. On top of all of this, your customer service is poor. Your wife Valentina customer service is poor. Both of ya scheduling skills need to be more organize. You did not guarantee great customer service. This store did not sympathize or empathize with me or my wife (customers). We will not be renting from you guys ever again and I hope that this location gets shut down.

I had damage in my unit and didn't realize it until I was moving my stuff out. I did not take my damaged furniture out of the unit. I told the office when I left that I was not removing the damaged items. I left the items for proof of damage .It was not my responsibility for removing items damaged at their facility. They continued to harass me for payment, threatening me even though I continued to call them wanting to speak to Brandon. He was NEvER available and did not return my calls. I acted on good faith and was disappointed in the treatment I received! I called Uhaul and complained about what was happening. I received zero help and never received call backs from them either!

No one Ever answers the phone. The manager never calls back nor does he even reply to emails sent. We are going through hardship due to my husband having a bad accident at work and we asked to allow us to pay weekly which it was explained to us that only the manager can allow payments but the manager never got back to us not by phone or email. Staff members sit in the office at times on their phones and the office phone would be ringing off the hook and they don't make the slightest effort to answer it. We rented for a year and not even once did they answer the phone even though I called for days, weeks and months and had to be transferred to their answering service. We will never use this Uhaul location again and we will let everyone know about their horrible service and experience.

We have rented a covered 50' storage unit for the last 5+ years at this facility for our rather expensive motorhome. Prior to the current Manager/Owner, Brandon, the facility was kept in good condition and management was responsive to tenant's concerns. Since this new management took over the outside gravel storage area's condition has deteriorated with water & mud filled potholes prevalent all over the grounds and especially where our MH is stored. Using our space has created deep, water & mud filled ruts where the gravel has been compacted and all around our MH and throughout the covered areas there is slime and algae that is dangerously slippery and keeps our camper and tires filthy as well as being a health/safety hazard. A good amount of the time the gates are broken or not locked at night, so the area is not secure 24hrs. I have several times requested, both in person to Brandon and his staff as well as via email to him for more gravel & algae/weed control for our space to remedy some of these safety and performance issues and have been completely ignored or told that he would "look into it". During one of my discussions with him, while some new gravel was being put in the general driving areas several months ago, he informed me that he would "check with Corporate" to see if they'd buy some; there's been no response or action on that request either! Over the last couple of years the rent has gone up while the condition and management of this facility has gone down. YES, this is the most reasonable cost for a covered boat and motorhome/camper storage facility in the area BUT it is the worst condition facility of this type I've seen in the area with the most unresponsive management I've found and highly recommend you not do business here until changes are made. We are glad to be gone and wish all the other tenants "good luck"!

From Stacy who arranged my reservations for a U-Haul storage unit, a truck, and movers called Who's Moving? the entire experience was fabulous! We arrived in the morning to pick up the 17' truck and rent the 10'x30' unit at a far lower price. I was pleasantly surprised to get the first month FREE! The gentleman who handled renting me the truck and storage unit was very helpful and explained the process efficiently. Who's Moving? Was also professional and did a great job loading and unloading the truck in 3 amazing hours including travel time! LaToya took care of the.logistics and Ronald and Devin were fantastic in loading, unloading, and taking care with my items. My experience with U-Haul was wonderful. I will highly recommend them to friends and relatives. I will make sure to post my pleasant U-Haul experience for my 3,700+ Facebook friends to view.

The main gate doesn't work more than half the time. There's huge uhaul trucks parked in very inconvenient spots making it difficult to maneuver the boat out. They finally put new gravel down but didn't fill in the huge holes with dirt first so they still flood and then the nasty chalky water splashes all over the boat. There's a homeless guy that definitely lives onsite in an old rv. Staff is seemingly useless and has no care for customer service. All these factors and the rate still increases every year. It is now not worth the cheaper price, which is why I've moved out.

It is impossible to reach anyone at this location. I have tried calling them directly at least 50 times over the last 5 months to discuss my monthly storage rental. You have to go through the main U-Haul number which means sitting on hold for at least 30 minutes each time. Once the unit was cleared and empty, they still charged my card for the next month. The only way it was reversed was by filing a dispute.. When we rented the unit in August we had to go to the office repeatedly because the door would not open correctly. I also used U-Haul in May from St. Augustine to Northport, AL. I returned the truck with the correct amount of fuel in Northport, AL, but they still charged me a gas fee. That took 2 months of my time to get straightened out. Try Penske.

Although i had auto pay selected, 2 months in a row I was charged a late fee! I let the 1st one slide but the 2nd one, I didn't and moved my stuff out of there! Mind you that I've only received 1 of these late charges! The gentleman that was there that I dealt with didn't act like he was to happy to deal with me at all, passing the buck off & told me that I would have to call in to get a refund when the people I called when I had been locked out said I would have to talk to the store manager. We were charged $154/monthly which was auto paid on Oct 13. We completely vacated on Oct 16, just 3 days after the bill date and Uhaul won't pro-rate. Poor business to encourage repeat business or referral business. We still have about two more containers worth of stuff we need to haul cross country which is double of what we paid for with you. We were expecting to establish a relationship with uhaul but the company clearly is not interested in future business.

I didn't leave because I was unhappy! In-fact I am now paying more than I should for a smaller storage space but it is a matter of location. This place is just down the street, whereas U-haul Ocala South was miles away. They were friendly, helpful and took great care of me! I would recommend that location to anyone. First issue, I was charged a late fee only 4 days after past due, not 5 days like the email says. Then only after ten days past the first late fee I was being charged a second late fee, not 15 days like the email says. No where does it say I would be charged twice within the first 15 days after past due. I would never recommend this storage unit to anyone, not unless I can get some of that refunded back to me.

Rv storage electric circuit breakers are some times not enough to handle amps when vehicles are plugged in. Also hard to talk to agent leave message takes along time to get response.

Great staff and plenty of potential but my covered site was basically like parking in a pond. Major water problems which caused problems in my RV. Much much dirtier covered parking than I have used in the past. Some grading needs to happen to prevent the standing water and mold.

For those of us who work long hours in a day, our ability to get to our storage unit sometimes extends in to the evening. Having early evening restrictions allowing us to visit our storage unit was aggravating. 7:00 pm closures was the norm for the longest period of time. Only this past week did I learn from an employee that the hours were extended until 10:00 pm. I was never told that the hours had changed from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The ironic part, I was vacating my unit this week when I learned of this. On the evening of the 15 of September I stopped at the office to let someone know that my storage unit was vacated and cleaned. There was a sign on the door that who ever was on duty was helping someone out on the grounds and a phone number was given to call. I called that phone number and I got what I call the U-Haul National desk. It took for ever for someone to finally help me, only to disconnect my call before I could tell them why I was calling. Again, another 15 to 20 minutes of waiting for the U-Haul National desk. Now I know the number that was printed on the door sign on the evening of the 15th is the number for that specific U-Haul location at 5555 S. Pine Ave Ocala, Florida as I have had that number logged in to my phone contacts since September 16th 2012. When I dial that number I specifically want to talk to that location and "Not" U-Haul National. I want a brief 30 second / 1:00 minute conversation instead of 20 minutes on hold only to be disconnected. I have tried to call that same number numerous times each day now since the night of the 15th and nobody ever answers the phone at that location. I keep getting U - Haul National. One final thought - Please mention to someone to look in to changing the recorded message for U-Haul National. It's annoying! Air hose would have been very convenient but it had a bad leak. Did appreciate the water hose and bathroom. We ended service on Sept 8, but were charged for whole month. Could we receive a prorated refund?

This storage place is great for my camper. The employees are very friendly and helpful.they try to help you anyway they can. I grade them with and A experience.

Need a little renovations Thanks

my previous trailer rentals and Checking in went fine. The day before my check out. I went into the office and explain to them that I need a trailer to rent and will be leaving their facility the next day. The gentleman working the desk looked up my account, help me with the reservations of the trailer I needed and told me it would be no problem leaving the next day to make sure I have a staff member check the unit to verify it is cleaned out when I am done before I leave. The following day around 3:00 I cleaned out the storage unit and rented a trailer from them. the lady who checked me out told me that I owe for one more month because I should have cleared out the day before. I explained to her I was in the day before and the man at the desk told me it would be no problem she informed me that I owe the money and that there's nothing she can do about it and didn't really care. Then she helped me with finalizing the trailer rental and hooking it up. she must have a death wish or was poorly trained, because she tried to stand between my large truck and the trailer to back me up I asked her not to stand there and she gave me some feedback saying she had had to do it way,this is how she was trained. I told her that if my foot slipped off the brake or I accidentally hit the accelerator it would crush her and I am not backing up with her behind my truck. after further discussion I finally convinced her to move out from behind my truck. Then I had a disconnect her trailer because she didn't give me time to lubricate the ball on my hitch. After everything was hooked up I checked the tire pressure on the trailer tires. They were all low the pressure was below 50 lb on each tire with a rating of 65 lb cold tire pressure. when I brought this to her attention she told me that there was an air station inside their fence and that I can fill it up myself. I understand it's not her job to get the trailers rent ready and then if they're indicated rent ready she would expect them to be. But once a defect is found I would expect her to help fix it. Or rent me a different trailer. Not a good overall experience.

Kim was wonderful - exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to accommodate and the location is fairly convenient. Aside from that - the facility is pretty disappointing. We move around quite a bit due to our work and have had storage units at different locations all up and down the coast and the unit we have at this location is without a doubt the worst we've ever had. The inside of the unit is old, run down with graffiti on the walls, the concrete is cracked, the steel girders have completely oxidized and there is actually a "RAT POISON" trap in the unit. I was so disappointed upon opening the door to the unit that had we not been moving for three days I would have left and found somewhere else to go.

I only experienced an issue on the date I wanted to close out the unit. For over a hour and a half, no one was available in the office. When I went online to check out, I had to drive 30 minutes back to the unit to take pictures for posting. I wasn't happy with that issue.
