On the day I was to pick up the trailer, I was sent to another U-Hall place out of my way and when I arrived, the place was closed. Called this location back to inform them this place closed early. This was the reason I went to this location on SW Military Dr expecting the place to be open and was sent to another location. I returned to the to SW Military Dr to pick up the trailer I had rented. I asked for the managers number. I called him and up to date, I have not received a call from him. This to me is poor customer service. This happened on 09/27/2019.

It is absolutely ridiculous when you have 3 forms of ID on you and you are still required to provide a phone # of someone that can vouch for who you are. My relatives work and can not answer a phone, finding someone to vouch for who you is stupide and I will try to find some where else to rent a trailer.

Include a full tank of gas instead of less than half. That way they won’t have to waste travel departure time by having to stop to fill up so soon.

I initially had made my reservation online (which i absolutely loved) but once at store I wanted to see about changing my rental to something smaller. I know it was very very close to closing time and the man running cashier still helped me. He seemed to be tired already and since no one on my contacts was answering phone when he would call for verification he seemed to get a bit impatient but that would be the only thing I would have to say. It was Friday night closing time so I'll excuse me.

Incredibly slow. Got there at 9:00 (was third in line) and still didnt leave until 10:15. There card systems were down and then they had a hard time accepting cash. Had a reservation for 9 also. Wasted precious time waiting in line for ever. Horrible.

I reserved a dolly, but at pick-up, I told Mr Gaitan I didn’t need it. Tho the dolly binding was uncut, they still charged me. I complained, got the refund seemingly begrudgingly. The problem was that the refund was only $7, even tho I was charged tax on the entire bill. Being cheated out of 50 cents or so is no big deal, but it speaks to the integrity of the management. Everything else was perfect!

Every time I have gone there’s only one person in the office to help. It takes 10-15 mins to help each customer. There’s always a line and a long wait. You need more employees.

The manager Joseph was unfriendly. I felt rushed through out the process. I also had many of my things ruined with rats biting through items, including a sofa. I found atleast 3 dead rats.

Awful experience from general manager (Joseph) at SW Military location in San Antonio Texas to corporate office (Marissa). I would never recommend U - Haul to anyone. I did not move out on 4/30/2018 .
