I don't get the negative reviews on this place. Staff was very friendly. The trailer 5x9 flatbed I rented was awesome, and I've pulled a lot of trailers.

I was surprised that they had my driver's license and military ID and still felt they need to call someone to verify my identity. Also, I fill out mostly information online to expedite the process but still had to answer question about them for us.
The brakes of the truck needs work. Please clean up the truck.
Horrible customer service. Look at their google reviews, I've never see a business with so many reviews calling out the manager by name. They are a stain on the U-Haul brand. They are now lying about the gas charges, claiming it was 1/3 full when it was entirely full, and adding more and more every few hours.

Provide truck with working ac to deal with Texas heat. Ensure that trailers were in serviceable condition before assigning them so customer did not have to waste time returning to get that issue fixed when it should have never been an issue if you practiced due diligence and inspected products properly.
Hire managers that don't act like they are doing you a favor, when you are a PAYING CUSTOMER
I have tented trailers for years out of town so was surprised to hear I couldn't rent a trailer in SA for the day because I lived in Austin. Had yo come up with a SA address !
Very very rude people, I was charged for 2 days because I was told they were open till 7 but wasn't told I had to bring equipment back by 9 am , I tried to explain bit they kept pointing to my contract saying read your contract !!!! my father in law was going to pay for the extra day buy they had already charged my card without my knowledge. Very unsatisfied.

Return truck process via online was a pain ***. I spent approximately 20-30 mins entering info required and odometer reading without success!! Turns out I needed to add a ZERO in the end!!! Twenty dollar Return truck process fee â€œifâ€ I didn't complete online is a rip off to customers. What ever happened to â€œgood old Customer Service!â€ Drivers door took a lot of force to CLOSE completely. Ignition was difficult to start at every attempt starting with foot on brake. Lastly, upon receiving paperwork from register staff and before leaving premises, my odometer on truck did NOT match odometer reading on paper by 9 miles Over. Staff made the corrections but never apologized for the unintentional error. I need one FINAL move next summer, and I'm poundering on the thought if I will use U-HUAL again.

I was treated like a criminal at this location. They made me provide personal references and they called them in front of me. I have NEVER had this happen in all of my years using UHAUL. I asked for 8 hours on my quote and was made to return the trailer after 6 hours. The gentleman also made sure told he me that it was an in-town trip and "make sure you return it to MY location". As if I would run off with the trailer. I know it's not just me though. That man was rude to a caller while I was standing there and lost a sale with his rudeness. It was AWFUL. By the way, I signed up for contactless pickup and I definitely did not get that service.
First of all, I understand because of the pandemic we are facing today things will take longer. But waiting in line for an hour with only 4 people in front of me is unacceptable. With a yard this big and only 1 person in the office and 1 in the yard on a Saturday morning is just wrong. The 2 employees were doing a fantastic job but heavily overwhelmed. Two more employees would have made the experience much more favorable for everyone.
The truck over heated and the ac turned off as a result. The truck had a new key and was difficult to start. It took me 15 minutes each time to start the truck in 100 degree weather. The truck should have been checked and not issued without being warned if the problems.
Caesar was exceptional. He made the drop off process fast and painless! Would definitely recommend this location to others.
