The customer service at this location lacks. When I made my reservation online I selected to be helped at the counter but it seemed as though the clerks did not want to assist. When pulling up my order I was told that I needed to upload my license to the link that was sent to my phone however, I had the license in my hand and did not bring the phone with me. I asked if there was another way that I could give them the physical copy instead and was told no. I had to leave the office to go then retrieve my phone in order to upload which took longer than necessary. The upload link was extremely slow and took several minutes to relay from the phone to the UHAUL desktop. After this, I was sent another link to checkout for my transaction and review any damages, but could not do it with a rep. - I am all for going electronic but for those customers that are clearly having issues, there should be an alternative or "old school" method to complete checkouts. It makes the customer feel like they are in the way or lacking an experience due to the cold nature of the transactions.Brittany P.

After driving across country, my wife and I just wanted to offload the super mover and be done. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed to San Antonio and to help us get our stuff off loaded and the truck turned in so we could be freed up to go look at houses. My initial reservation was at another location through a third party vendor which was made 2 WEEKS prior. The third party vendor did not have a truck. Not enough was done by someone to prevent the issue I experienced. Most people I know have had similar problems with third party vendors. Something needs to be done to improve third party reliability. The lady I spoke with at U-Haul (Paki?) was very patient and helpful. U-Haul Moving & Storage of South Park was very pleasing.Joe L.

Procedures weren't thorough enough for the extra equipment I rented (dolly). Because I didn't receive a key to the lock to the back of the truck and I returned it after hours, the dolly is subject to theft with leaves me with much concern.SERGIO G.

Service was great but the tow dolly that I rented was damaged and missing parts. The bad thing is that the worker there allowed the damaged dolly to be used. The vehicle breaks were extremely loose and took forever to stop the truck and the alignment Was completely shot. To improve, how about fix your trucks. Number 2 is I had to put gas in the vehicle after being charged, 0,89 cent per mile. That is completely ridiculous. If I need to bring it back with the same amount of fuel, I should not be paying by the mile as well. Choose 1.Cory A.

I previously reported the use of a greasy / slippery chemical used to clean and shine the floor of the cab. During a previous rental, I slipped exiting the vehicle. During this rental, once again the floor was slippery and the chemical transferred from the floor to the pedals by way of my shoes. This was also a rainy day which compounded my almost disastrous experience. I was almost involved in an accident because my shoe slipped of the brake pedal because of the chemical used on the floors. While overall my experience was great, I will have a difficult time going forward using or recommending this location for service.Maximo H G.

I was charged a cleaning fee to clean a vehicle that was dirty when I got it. When I returned it, I selected not clean because it wasn't clean to begin with and was charged a $25 cleaning fee. There was no dolly or furniture blankets inside the truck either.David P.

This agent, when I visited on 10 October 2022, was a quiet, very polite young man, very knowledgeable with rental procedures. Obviously, extremely hardworking, but this U-Haul work site, needs to employ another employee. The three times I have visited this site, there was always, at least, three to four people in line. While I was there on two of my three visits, several people (4) left, on two of my visits, because of the time constraints. I, ABSOLUTELY in NO way, fault this employee. This should be one of Management's concerns. Also, there was ONLY one chair for customers, and that was for the â€œRenting Customerâ€, the other folks waiting, in line to do business, had to stand & wait. One final concern of mine, is that I had forgotten to get my deposit back, until several days later, when I remembered, and then returned to ask for it. I would have thought the manager would have called to remind me, but he did not. Word to the Wise !Tricia L.

Have more than one person working so you don't have to wait 30 minutes after driving a truck for over 1600 miles. That's the last thing someone wants to do. The guy working was nice and apparently it wasn't his fault. I ended up doing the online return and when I was almost done someone finally came to assist me.Michael C.

The number of employees on a shift perhaps. Retraining your employees. I had self checkout and i paid for my uhual @3:06 pm I didn't get my key until about 340. There was only one guy working there and it took me almost 2 hours to get the truck, not counting the time I waste because my reservation change multiple times because there was no trucks after I reserved a week in advance, had to pay extra hours for the helpers to wait because I didn't have the truck.
