Improve answer time on 800 calls to U-Haul. Some wait times are very long. There was also two last minute changes on my pick up location, but I did get the trailer requested, so that was good and the final location, although far from my home, did an excellent job and staff was friendly and efficient. Also, the nice lady at drop off location was also awesome.GERARDO Z.

Has reserved online. When we got there things took longer than anticipated because numbers weren't matching up. Ended up having to do everything again.JOSUE R.
When your customers reserve a Uhaul honor what they requested and reserved and not make changes when picking up truck. I had requested a 20 ft. truck and when I arrived I was given a 26 ft truck. I showed them the email on my reservation and conformation and they still not honor it. I was told a text was sent out to me and I let them know no text was sent with any changes. The size of truck was not what I needed for my move. I was told I would have to wait to hours to see if I could get a 20 ft one. On the lot they had many 20 ft but was told those were already reserved. I reminded them I had also reserved the truck. I had to pay the movers extra to have my items secured so they would not be damaged. Very disappointed with the SAN ANTONIO UHAUL STORE. I did not have any issues with the drop off store in Edinburg. Also Jasmine at the san antonio store had me drop off at a further location when one was closer to me. I asked her I could drop off at the one located nearest to me at University drive store and was told she would later send me information on where to drop off. Which she did and it was the one farthest to me. I was on a set time schedule and I couldn't wait two hours for them to find me a 20 ft truck. That day was so hectic as moving is but this was by far so disappointing. I will not and never recommend this store in San Antonio on SE military. Such a big city and company with no type of professionalism. It was ridiculous to be given such a big truck at the last minute. Also the pictures they tell you to confirm before you leave forthe lot are old pictures. That day it had rained all morning. The pictures they said to confirm were taken on a sunny day. You need more parking, there was no where for me to park to pick up the vehicle, everything was taken by company products. There was only 1 person working the counter, and a lot of people inside. The truck was not well maintained, and the dolly attached to the inside of the back of the truck was in a very inconvenient spot for loading and packing the truck.SAMANTHA H.

I went in to rent a car dolly and informed him that I had to drive out of town and pick up a stranded friend. The employee said no worries and got me going. It was right at the close of business. When I did a self return no longer that 12 hours later. I get billed for two days. I think that's a scam. Especially since it's not like anyone could even rent it since the store wasn't even open for the next business day. The sad part was looking at the contract that was printed out after I electronically signed it, stated that I would return it before 10:45 p.m. That wouldn't have been 5 hours of use. Yet I'm getting charged for 2 days.JOEL C.

I rented a 5'x7' enclosed trailer. The original location where I have a storage unit was out of the "wiring" needed to hook up the tail lights, so I reserved a trailer through my original location for this location. After I arrived, the inside representative did NOT honor the price I secured for the trailer and I was charged more. Very rude and unprofessional. The gentleman outside did hook it up for me and I had explained to BOTH men I would be returning it within a few hours but it would be after hours for the drop off. The man that connected the trailer said to take pictures of the trailer and where I would park it as theft has occurred, then to.upload the pics to the link I was sent on my phone. I did just as I had been instructed and took the pictures then left. Unbeknownst to me, the link would not allow me to upload the pictures. I had to return back to the place where I had dropped it off and take new pictures. An extra trip back was not what I had anticipated and was inconvenient after a long day of moving.TAMMY Z.

I had no problem renting the u Haul. The front desk was very helpful. But us as customers we need to be careful when checking/returning In. I literally use the truck for about an hour in half. I don't know if they thought that because I was a women I didn't know about mileage or the gas. I totally did the math on my mileage it was 40,2 miles. And my gas was at 3/8. He was trying to over charge me saying I went over my miles and I didn't replace the gas. Over all total I pay was 79.24. For an hour. I will never again use u haul I rather pay someone with a truck. Make sure to do the the math on mileage and take pictures of the gas.Elizabeth R.

When making the reservation i informed UHaul rep. of the extras I needed such as mattress bag and other items. He said I didn't need to add to reservation and that I could get the items when I pick up my rental. WRONG!! I arrived 15 mins. before requested pick up time which was 11. It was so busy I didn't actually leave UHaul location until 11:30. I needed 4 mattress bags & location only had 2. I requested the rental for 24 hrs. the rep. I spoke to said UHaul was flexible about drop off time. WRONG AGAIN!! UHaul charged me for a whole additional day even though the rental only a few hours after deadline. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE THEIF UHAUL SEEMS TO BE!!!!FERMIN P.

I was charged an additional 25 dollars to clean when there were only a few leaves I didn't t clean up. That is cause for me not to return to this site. The truck wasn't even dirty. Shame in the guy who just wanted to charge an additional 25 dollars. Whoever helped me was very condescending and didn't seem to want to be there. This place apparently just wants the money and has no concern about the actual client. What if a I didn't have an additional 25 bucks. It is very inconsiderate and in ooor taste.Rogelio V.

There was only one person working at the desk and he was pretty rude. When I returned the vehicle I was looking for the drop box and couldn't locate it. Therefore I went inside to return the keys since I paid my balance through the app. Once again the person who helped the first was multitasking and rude. I told him I wanted to drop off the keys since I already paid through the app. He didn't believe me and kept walking to the vehicle. At that point he checked his phone and realized what I had told him about paying for the rental already. He was condescending and will not go back.Nancy V.

This is the only location that is organized. This time though, they didn't have the keys ready and didn't know where they were. They found them after a few minutes, which negates the convenience and rapidity of using the mobile check in, bit at least they had the vehicle...which is better than my past 3 experiences with u-haul (other locations).Logan O.
