Break system lights kept coming on and flashing during driving and had to stop and turn the truck off and back on again to get it to stop and the mirrors shackled a lot and alignment was way off but garret was great but other guy needs lot more training to be honest but besides that these older trucks are NOT reliable..

Vehicles transmission kept slipping. Head light was also out
Lynn FThe only complaint is that when we went to pick up the U-Haul truck, we had to pay the full price instead of just the deposit. It was my understanding that it was to be the deposit. And when we went to drop it off, only one person was working, which you definitely could have used 2 people at 9:00 on Sunday morning. The unit itself was in very good condition and worked well. CONNIE JIt was an overall decent experience. My only suggestion would be to acknowledge your customers as they enter or as soon as they reach the register area. I stood there awkwardly waiting to be acknowledged while the sales person was doing something on a device and the two other workers were on the phone. A simple "hello,I'll be right with you " would have sufficed. After the sales clerk completed what he was doing we began the transaction ,but the silent wait made it momentarily awkward.

LUCINDA JCounter staff person was not friendly at all and was asked several times about the duration of the rental and conditional upon have a hitch on the truck she keep pushing to get my information without addressing my questions or concerns. I ask if I needed it for longer than a day could I extend it she said no because they might have a reservation on it. Then was called early because there was a reservation before my requested duration was up and I had to rush it back to keep another UHaul customer from waiting to long.

MICHAEL BBe more upfront about pricing online. At store you have to tell them how many miles you plan to drive or there is a extra charge for going over those. Also if you give a person a truck at 15/16 of a tank or less then if they fill up the truck to full you should give them a discount for that amount of gas.

RONALD BDominic at the Topeka Kansas South Topeka Blvd location DID NOT listen to my type of car when it came to the towing equipment needed. To the point when I attempted to use a 2 wheel dollie for my car it locked my back tires up . Why this happened because your staff did not listen to my conversation and I told him it was a ALL WHEEL DRIVE. So now my vehicle needs more work that will be very expensive. I am talking with an attorney regarding the negligence of your employee.
JOYCE JBad 1) There was a crackhead attempting to con my truck keys from me. Saying it's her first day and hadn't gotten her U-Haul shirt yet. Attn U-Haul Corporate: tell your employees to scare away homeless/riff-raff/shady looking people from your property attempting to con customers. 2) I am not a U-Haul employee. I highly dislike the return equipment process. I don't want to be taking pictures of the truck just because I or many other of your customers have smart phones. Have your employees do that. I just want to hand the keys and the rental agreement and be done. Suggestion: have an option to have an employee undertake the return process.

RICHARD GVery unorganized and very slow customer service.They handed me keys and paper work and I thought I was good to go, so I sent my driver on His way, they said they needed his dl, and he needed to come back. He was already at location 5 min away. Fuel wasn't where they told me it was @ and since he already left I couldn't dispute it! Dropped truck off 6hrs later and system was down. Got a phone call 2 days later wanting the truck back. Look for your trucks before accusing someone of stealing your shit! Will not use this location again!

I spent almost $1 000 for my rental in Colorado and employees in Cañon City & Pueblo were very nice & helpful. Topeka U-Haul on Topeka Blvd was a mess and I nearly walked out due to rudeness and incompetence.

For 700 miles I was looking through the steering wheel instead of over the steering wheel. And there was no cruise control. Who ever got the final decision definitely missed the mark.

I was paying $165-$185 for a 10x10threw U-haul and with my new storage facility I am paying $120 for a 10x30 which is way more than enough room for me so now I get to share with my sister which leaves me paying $60 bucks we both have more than enough room and it's still locked with video security and it is claimant controlled.
