SHAWN CTotal heat & , air didn't work at all, and it was as cool morning. But when I did need it, it didn't work. Having to have windows rolled down, and having to listen to all the noise didn't make my trip very pleasant. Just because the person claimed they checked it taught me a lesson, don't trust them. Check, everything before you leave the location.

CLARENCE RAllow for a 2 hour extension return window so that we can return the equipment the same night after you are closed using the app but no one can rent it that night because you're closed. This return window extension would allow for extenuating circumstances so we can handle going a little over our allotted time but not get charged an extra day even though traffic is outside of our control.
Jason PDidn't realize you had to have a major credit card instead of a debit card to rent. It would be nice to know before you go to pick it up.

CHRISTOPHER GEmployees need to learn customer skills…like communicating with them. Manager has no skills at all. Another thing… a 26' box truck has like a 9' ramp. Why??? It should be at least 12' long. If you're not on flat ground it's like walking up a hill…even on flat ground it's to dang steep and something should be done about it. Totally messed my move up.

MARICO PFirst and foremost, the lady that helped me this morning was incredible. She was very nice, helpful, and swift with the process. The truck however was a nightmare. I rented a 20' box truck that felt like it had 0 power steering and 0 breaks. I struggled making simple turns and I am a large man, and the breaks were practically non existent. I couldn't even finish my move today the truck was dangerous, I returned my truck and plan to rent a box truck with a different company tomorrow to finish moving.
BLAINE SPersonnel would not disconnect the trailer or check it in. Worst Uhaul location I have ever experienced.

Kyle HI would recommend them simply because U-Haul has a good reputation the people at this site were merely following through with what had been dealt to them. I listened to other customers interactions with staff and see there were few IF any problems that were not handled quickly and correctly. My experience was a hand me down problem that started In Pensacola Florida.

ALTHEA WAll of the employees were very nice and helpful. We ran behind on our move due to weather and had to bring the trailer back but they helped us out with a smaller one that we were able to finish with.

Even though it was full of ppl in the office. Skylar remained friendly and helpful with all the customers before me. Please make sure that you give them a raise! 殺殺殺

Yousef A | Expérience généraleVehicle had problems - barely started...it seemed like the battery was low, so I decided to drive it a while to charge it was fine after that. Second, there was a constant "tire low" warning - it was low, but not critical so I continued. The worst part was the fact there was no air conditioning - there was air conditioning, but it didn't work. It was 88 degrees with high humidity making it very uncomfortable. It was easier to forego the A/C and open the windows. I realize that many of the vehicles come from out of town, but I would think that someone would do basic checks once a truck comes in...

James SI alwsys use uhaul but my experience this was terrible because the air didn't work and it was extreme high temperature, therefore making it a very unpleasant move. It was aweful

Corey MMy experience with your agents not forthcoming in assisting the needs of customers. If I had known your inventory had a 26' U-Haul I would have rented it, as opposed to a 20', especially after explaining to the associate I was moving a 3-bedroom house to Long Beach MS. Instead, I had to make an additional trip a week later to finish moving the rest of my contents on a 6'x12' trailer costing me more money, and time; not to mention having to purchase another ball to hook up the trailer. Finally, having transported all my contents to my destination Long Beach, MS, only to find a text on my phone 1:15 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, stating I needed to return the rental so others could have access to a 6'x12' trailer, which was already turned in July 7, 2024 at 2:30 pm 6507 Beatline Road, Long, Beach, MS. Called Pepper Chase, Southaven, Monday, July 8, 2024; spoke with David regarding the return of the trailer. He advised I call GO-U-Haul to find out where I dropped the U-Haul. I explained to him it is not my responsibility to run down a U-Haul trailer I rented and returned and he should call 6507 Beatline Road U-Haul Facility checking on the return. I drove back to 6507 Beatline Road, Long Beach, MS, Mr. Yarbourgh was there saw the trailer on the designated lot and informed me he didn't check them in until they were due back in. My suggestion instead of having a customer backtrack the return of your equipment, I suggest I should have been put on a brief hold, while your associate in Southaven (Pepper Chase) called U-Haul location 6507 Beatline Road to confirm the trailer was turned in and he would check it in, as soon as reasonably possible. Your agent in Southaven should have come back on the phone apologizing for the inconvenience; confirming U-Haul was turned in before the expected return date and thanked me for using U-Haul. If I ever need another truck rental it wouldn't be U-Haul. I will go back to using Penske Truck Rentals!!

On another note, I experienced some rodent damage to some of my boxes, and they didn't seem to care. They passed it off to "an outside source" that is supposed to take care of it by spraying the units.

I had to drive back up front Then manager told an employee to go to unit with me to help me just for him to say there was a lock and have to call someone to get reassigned to another unit. The employees that were in storage area could not help. They told me that I had to go up front.

I get to Mississippi the storage size that I had a reservation for wasn't available therefore I had to get a larger size that I did not need. The staff was not empathetic what so ever. I as the customer was inconvenienced and I have to pay more money for a larger storage unit. No discount for my inconvenience was offered.

Who made them my judge and jury. Did the man that was using the exit get find.NO! the same one who told me the alarm was off and l could use the door.l thought he worked there. Antuwan P | Expérience généraleI would NOT recommend this location, for one reason. The manager (LANEDRA COLEMAN) is extremely rude and she is very condescending towards you. She has no boundaries. She struggles just to ask you a question, with some type of decency. It appears she hates her job. When we were there, she was talking very loud and with a rough tone, to one of the male associates. She was refusing to rent to my Son, because She and I had a disagreement in the past, about an access card that wasn't working. Two of my neighbors have also left that location, only because of Ms. Coleman. I would like to give much GRATITUDE to STEVEN GARRETT, Company President. He is a great example of Top Level Management, in keeping with their goals, of providing excellent customer service. My son notified him with this issue and he took care of the problem immediately. We had been renting from that location for over a year, with early payments at all times. Even though our problem got resolved, we felt like we needed to change facilities, to avoid other problems in the future. Thank you again Mr. Garrett for resolving our issue. A+

The bins in the back are always emptied, the floors are clean and there is NEVER any odor like there was with the previous management. There is no trash laying and I have always felt safe anytime I have gone there by myself. The staff is friendly and always helpful. Great experience!!!

Overall pretty displeased with my experience but in the end they did refund me so I guess that's a plus. Well really I just got what was rightfully advertised

My unit will not stay open when I'm loading things in so I have to have someone with me and there were technical issues as far as getting in the building. For the price you pay I expect more.

Donald T | Premières impressionsAfter requesting a different unit for almost a year, due to the long dark hallways. My unit was broken into. Over $2000 worth of loss. Head manager has not contacted me and its been 3 weeks. No one offered me a discount or anything to ease the situation. Customer restroom is filthy every time i went into it. Garage doors and sliding doors were open upon my arrival on most visits ( not secure ) Since I could not be contacted and no one showed concern, I felt targeted and unsafe. Local authorities have assured me that break ins are normal at this location, and internal employees seem to be involved. This is sad that i had to move out because I really liked the facility despite the long hallway, and security issues. But without security - whats the point??? Signed- Angry customer who will never use Uhaul again and I will encourage others the same!
