Very good service in Parkersburg, WV. Not so good in North Port, Fl. Picked up the box on January 28th loaded it and returned it the same day to North Port, Fl. It was not picked up for delivery to Parkersburg, WV until February 17th. Arrived in Parkersburg 2-23-21.

Great service
Our experience with Uhaul was fine as far as the rental of the truck and equipment; however, we had major issues with use of MovingHelp.com in connection with Uhaul. The Uhaul employee scheduled movers for us over the phone to move a baby grand piano. I specifically questioned whether the movers he scheduled had experience moving pianos and he said that the computer indicated that they indeed do move pianos. I received an email from the movers with a detailed list of questions about our move to which I replied. On the night before the move, I received the Payment Code to pay the movers after the move which was another confirmation to me that everything was ready to go for the move. On the scheduled day of the move, we picked up the truck and the agent was helpful in telling us that the truck we had reserved did not have a ramp so we changed to the next size truck. We drove to the location in which we were buying the piano and waited for the movers to arrive. After 20 minutes passed, I called the Uhaul office to find out how to contact the movers. They gave me the phone number for MovingHelp. When I called them, they told me that the movers had emailed me back and indicated that they DO NOT move pianos. I never received that email or it was accidentally deleted. In addition, MovingHelp indicated that the price I had paid for the movers was far below the price that is required for a piano move. I told her that the agent at Uhaul scheduled it for me. When we returned to Uhaul to tell them what had happened, the employee did offer some suggestions of people to contact locally but that did not work out so we had to get our own movers. After the nightmare was all over, I contacted the original movers and they sent a screen shot of the email they sent to us indicating they do not move pianos. I questioned them as to why they didn't cancel the order with MovingHelp and they indicated that they are not allowed to cancel the order, only the customer can cancel it. So apparently the movers knew they weren't coming, MovingHelp had been notified they weren't coming but we were still sent a payment code to pay them for the move?! There is definitely a glitch in your system that would allow this to happen to a customer. MovingHelp did indicate that we would receive a refund in 3 - 5 days, but the fact that we were stuck without movers when the whole thing could have easily been avoided is very frustrating. If a moving company turns down a job, MovingHelp should do everything they can to notify the customer and NOT send a payment code to the customer to pay the movers that have cancelled!

This was the largest and most last minute move I've ever made with u haul. Everything went smoother than I could even believe. From the scheduler discussing the right truck for my needs, to the recommended moving help set up, all went as smooth as could be. Everybody was kind and pleasant. The truck was very new and super clean. The move went without a hitch, and in record time

The only think I was displeased about was that you charged me $25.00 to clean it though it wasn't really dirty, only because I couldn't take a picture of the inside. By the time I got to that point I had already locked the doors and dropped the key in the drop off box. Then you charged an extra tax on the cleaning part.

Was dirt on floor of cab and also in cargo area
The online check in process and drop off process was long, wrought with software problems which ended up taking way too long and caused more problems than it was worth. On top of which they didn't have the packing pads supplied inside the truck as requested on the order. So the entire point of doing things online/sans customer rep went out the window because I had to go inside the store.
Paul is an awesome guy to deal with at the Uhaul south Parkersburg, blizzard drive. . I was talking to him about the car I was going to pickup having a low front spoiler. Not only did he tell me how to make it work, he gave me the boards to make it happen. Thanks again Paul, I put the boards back where you got them from.

I. The next day I went to the local store had trouble with the door of the 10 foot truck I rented. It slowed down my move by more than half a day. I tried calling my local store, where I rented the truck from, but no answer..only got the national call center. They emailed the local store to call me asap but no one called. I went the next day & they switched the truck out. I was pretty frustrated..BUT...when I returned the truck the boys at my local office made it right with me. I was quite satisfied.

Check in app is horrible. I used the app in a futile attempt to to avoid going inside where no one wears masks - even during a pandemic peak - and yet I still had to go inside. Again, horrible app.

I returned my trailer same day. No place on the lot to drop trailer due to vehicles stacked in the DO NOT BLOCK area. Site didn't check my trailer back into their system until 2 days later. Attempted to charge me for an extra day, because they failed to complete equipment checkin.

The staff at the Southside facility is superior. From the moment I walked in the door and asked how I should make my move and get back to Parkersburg they had all the answers I needed. So incredibly easy to take care of something that is usually a logistical pain. Everything could be done from my phone, and it was really convenient that I could access my unit and return my truck event though it was past store hours. I called an employee a couple minutes past close to ask some questions and he picked up and stayed on the line with me for probably 20 minutes just trying to help me out. Great overall. Would absolutely recommend to friends.

When I originally rented my unit I was told it was very secure because of the gate but that wasnt fixed for around a year. Any time I called or had to deal with staff they are rude.
