Everyone was super helpful and nice. The manager guys was extremely nice but smelt like tacos, which was fine but made me hungry.

Jefrey C.I have nothing against this location specifically, but really truly this entire uhaul experience was awful. It took me several hours to return the truck because every location that says they accept after hours returns have signs that say otherwise. I finally called customer service, and after being transferred several times to departments that were not staffed, I finally got a woman (who was very helpful, and basically the only bright spot) who was able to help me, but the only location that would take the truck and the trailer was almost half an hour away in a different city. Sucks after being on the road for 12 hours. Unfortunately uhaul is basically the only option that won't bankrupt you so I'll probably use them again. I guess you get what you pay for.

DEBRA D.The truck I rented had a hole drilled in the gas tank and it was pouring gas out as I drove. Luckily another driver alerted me to the problem and I stopped the truck. I returned the truck in exchange for another truck and the person working there told me "We won't charge you extra'" (!). The staff didn't apologize or offer any sort of discount, and made it sound like it was more of a burden for them than for me. Overall this was absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced with U-Haul.

Samuel M.I typically have a good experience when renting from this location. This rental, however, had a glitch during my equipment return. I returned my equipment 17 hours earlier than required on my rental agreement. Return agent asked if electronic receipt was ok, and I agreed. Approximately an hour after my originally requested return time (the following morning) I received a call from the U-Haul representative asking when I planned to return the trailer. I explained I had returned equipment the previous evening. She responded, "Ok, I will go check for the trailer in the yard." Why not complete a physical check before calling the customer?

Dana D.During the summer I have used this location twice. I am always able to get clean equipment which works. However, customer service has been variable. There are many young kids that work here. This means sometimes they are just plain goofy or sometimes they are just trying to be personable but come of flat. I think the issue is training and supervision. You can get teenagers to do the work but is important to have a respected supervisor who will work beside them to train them up. I think they all have great potential with guidance and supervision. Just because someone has worked there a long time and knows how to do stuff does not make them a good supervisor. I was going to rent a storage space but there was stairs to climb. It was not many but I am not lifting furniture up steps. During that same time I ordered many supplies for my move but none of them transferred over. It was a mess. Finally, I have also used your service to hire people to help me move. The service was fine and the workers from Trusted did what they were paid to do. They worked hard and did all the work in the time they were slated to. I would recommend them to my friends and I would use there service again.

I can't say enough wonder things about Brian and what an asset he is to the Spanaway U-Haul location. I even had my Telluride to the dealership recently and asked them just to check on the installation work for a second opinion and the Certified KIA tech said, "Whoever did this work, did an excellent job!".

steven F.Set up a reservation online to rent a cargo van and came in to get it. Rep. Donisha Hindman explained that since I only use debit cards even though they have a Visa logo, I would be unable to rent one due to U-Haul policy. I have rented cargo vans before at this location with the same card and never encountered this issue. Granted, U-Haul's policy could have changed since the last time that I rented but I doubt it. My wife made a comment in a normal tone of voice about the change in policy and how off putting it was a customer and Ms. hindman's response was snarky and rude. Ms. Hindman led me outside to show me what she COULD rent me all the while saying to herself and anyone that was in listening range - meaning me - that she didnt want to hear complaints about policy from customers. We understand that Ms. Hindman does not set the policy and that she has to abide by it for her job but she does not get to be rude to the customer about it. My contract states that I rented the truck from Thursday morning at what ever time I rented it and was to return it Monday, June 26 by 7 am. I have a full time job in another city that I have to be at, at 8 am. so I brought the truck to the shop and dropped it off Sunday night, dropping the keys in the locker thing. I personally came in at 7am today, Monday, June 26 to get my final close out bill and was told by the clerk that I could not get it because he had other things to do. Let me say that again.....a customer is in the shop and the clerk is saying that he could not help me because he had other things to do and that he will get around to it. I would love to tell you his name, but can't because he did not have a name tag on. He had reddish hair and a full beard. When I dropped off the truck Sunday evening and placed the keys in the locker, there was a sign that said that the truck remained in my name and my responsibility until the shop opened in the morning. When I was leaving the shop, after having been told that I was not important enough as a customer to be serviced right then and that he would GET AROUND TO IT, he casually mentioned that he would have to add on a $20 charge because it was a convenience to drop the truck off and use the locker. IM SORRY? A CONVIENCE? My contract states that the truck is mine until 7 am today, the truck and the keys were there at 7am, I was there at 7am. When I finally received the bill about an hour later via email, granted the $20 was not on the bill but to be told that I was facing a new and unexpected fee was a slap in the face. Every year there is a local Comic-Con in the area, and I have always used U-Haul and rented from this location in the past but I will no longer be returning - there are plenty of other truck rental places out there that do not have this level of customer disrespect and nickel and dime-ing. EVEN IF I HAVE TO GO OUT OF MY WAY to use them.

The locking set up is really poor, I don't think that the lock I put on it is even gonna help secure my belongings. The facility is poorly maintained and needs to be remodeled or completely redone. The price for the storage unit for 10x10 unit is not worth it or risking my belongings being stolen in that location. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere, and move to a better storage unit for the same price.

I felt lied to, disrespected, and threatened by her Customer Service actions telling me that the price is the price and if I didn't want it that she could just cancel my contract. No professionalism. No integrity. She also did not apologize for her actions of the prices she offered me or for giving me the wrong price. False advertisement. Defrauding a disable person. Manager states $74.95. At ring up charges $99,95 when she was specifically asked for a space down stairs to accommodate disability. No follow up from other managers to address and fix concerns. Every person you try to get help from is rude or is not willing to go above and beyond to retain customer satisfaction. No follow up from corporate office.

He comes up to me and says in a condescending tone "this place closes in 3 minutes, you need to wrap this up." I told him that I thought the access was 24/7 and he replied that it's not anymore because people were caught living in their units. I'm upset that he talked to me the way he did and also because this place is advertised as open 24/7. That new employee also paints his nails white and has an ugly haircut.
