Here is the classic question when renting from Uhaul: Can you make it back in 4 hours with your rental? CLERK waits for customer response! CUSTOMER often says, I think so! ACTUALITY: the rental contract states this is a 24 hour RENTAL. I have PURCHASED 24 hours of time to use this equipment. I applaud Uhaul for this crafty question that makes the unsuspecting newbie believe they only have the number of hours the clerk just mentioned. Congratulations marketing and finance divisions for getting more rental opportunities out of a PURCHASED 24 hour rental agreement - WELL DONE!

2nd time I've used this facility and I had problems on both ends of the transaction. First, despite having a reservation, they didn't have the trailer I needed. I settled for a different trailer that didn't meet all of my needs. I wasn't offered the $50 advertised when they can't support a reservation. I was, however, given a discount on the alternate trailer I rented. Returning the trailer was also a problem. There was only one person there and she had a large line-up of people waiting for her. After waiting for about 20 minutes I unhooked the trailer myself, pushed it into its slot, and between customers gave her my contract and told her what I'd done. I have no doubt I would have had to wait an hour if I'd waited for someone to unhook the trailer for me.

I rented the truck for two days and I was constantly harassed because somebody at the headquarters did not get the message to the point where my second day I was called eight times and then the last call threatened that the van was going to be reported stolen this really hindered my move because I was concerned about being pulled over by the police officers and was unable to talk to the actual place I rented it to where I had no problem each time I was told that it was entered into the system that I had the truck for two days and I continue to receive calls was not happy about that made the move more stressful apparently this was not coming from the area that I got the truck from but from your main 1-800 number

I would not recommend uhaul. No place to park to go in the office. That was true at 3 different u haul. I had to finally call. I made a reservation at Parkland for a truck and they had no truck in the morning. They sent me to another uhaul. Should have communicated with me the moment there was no vehicle. I do not appreciate your company took an hour of my precious time. Having a reservation means you do not rent out the truck to someone else. It took over an hour to finally get. This was my first rental and I am not impressed. If I have a reservation for a vehicle then you should honor that and not shuttle me off to another branch.

It wasn't just me, I observed him treat others the same way on a previous visit. 2. Refine and improve your POS system - it locked up while processing my payment.

At first, I was told over the phone that daily rent is 4hrs from 8-12pm. But when I pick up the vehicle, I ask one of the employee about how many hours is daily rental. She says pick up at 8am and returned before 5:30pm. So she was able to help me out and also the employee outside that is responsible for returned vehicle also did and excellent job.

I could get a better truck. Not one with over 130K miles on it. The truck struggle going up hill. It uses almost 1/2 tank in 48 miles. Customer service on the phone and in store is excellent. Passed the time to return my truck and they didn’t charge me extra day. Definitely recommend to others.

The location has no customer parking. I rented a pickup for an hour to haul trash to a dump was informed on my way out (while in a hurry) that I could not leave my car on there property and had to move it to an adjacent parking owned by a grocery story. It seems if you offer hourly rentals I should be able to leave my car there. Home Depot allows it.

1 of 2 Uhauls broke down 2 miles from Uhaul pickup. Had to drive way out of our way to get another Uhaul which cost us valuable time. 2nd: I ordered an appliance dolly and blankets which we never received. Had to go back to store and request these already paid for items and they had no appliance dolly to give us. Staff did try accommodating us with other supplies but they did not work like appliance dolly. Our moving helpers were worn out from man-handling items.

While you do not have a place to say this, special thanks for the general manager who worked with me when i went in to reserve the trailer and was there when i returned the trailer. He personally came out and made the disconnect, did the paperwork there on the spot and i was on my way.. I wish all your employees were more like him.

Too many complications. Then I ended up paying more than originally quoted which was strange because the vehicle had to be changed to a smaller one. The drop was great they did to get all the problems cleared up but it should not been so hard in the first place. As paying customers we want a smooth process. This was not that. I spent 4 hours on phone when I should have been packing. So I had to take the day off of work just to get the packing done. Painful process.

This location was awesome. But The 2nd of 3 people I talked to on the phone last night was worst customer experience I have ever had. I’ve never been so disrespected by a company that I was paying money too. What made it worse was I was waiting next to the truck for a half hour in a rough area with a wife and kids, only to have the person who got on the phone be way more harm then good. And best of all it was to fix there mess up. Despite the awesome service at the actual location I will never be a UHual customer again!

There was a gentleman working on Sunday afternoon when we went to pick up the trailer. He wasn't the one that helped us get the trailer but was doing other things (and not helping the customers standing there). He literally said "I want to get fired." The gentleman helping us apologized, but I knew he had no control over the other guy's attitude. The next day when I dropped the trailer off the unhappy employee checked my trailer in, in a good mood!

I made reservations online for a location near my home. About an hour later, I received a message that my reservation was updated because the Graham location did not have a cargo van, after all. I had to travel across town to the Spanaway store. A minor inconvenience but I ended up having to pay more because of the extra miles. I've used the Spanaway store several times before when I lived near there and I have rated them excellent each time. I propose that you give a customer free miles or some other consolation prize when you break your promise to have a rental available, then suddenly "update" the agreement and cause them any inconvenience, as in my case.

Lyndsi was absolutily amazing, She went out of her way above and beyond to try and help me get the rental trailer hooked up and out. I had an electrical issue with my harness. She stepped up and showed not only her knowledge but her compasion and helpfulness to help me and guide me to a fix that still allowed me to be able to complete my move.I will continue to use this location because of the care and helpfulness i was given. I hope that U-Haul knows the true asset they have. I have been in management for more that 25 years and this kind of customer service and knowledge is hard to find these days.

First of all, we were told by another location on Meridian that what we needed was available at the Spanaway location so we drove over. When we called to try to reserve what we needed, we were put on hold for long amounts of time. One time my husband was supposed to be transferred and was just put on hold for 40 minutes so I called back from my phone to get through and that took 20 minites for someone to answer. $201.25 deposit was taken from my account. We called to see if we could have the truck for another day and another $73.37 was taken from my account instead of from my $201.25 deposit. A total of $274.62 was taken from my account. The final bill was $278.21. When my husband went to rerurn the truck, you charged us an additional $39.41 when the total should have been $3.59 owed to you and the rest taken from the total deposit above. On the receipt it shows we only paid $238.80. Which is not even close to $201.25 + $73.37 that were paid over the phone and taken from my account. Your company STOLE $35.82 from me. That caused my account to be negative. My husband will be in the Spanaway store on Wednesday to clear this up and get our money back. We have the online bank statement, and the text messages from my account that show when the money was taken out. I wonder how many people use your company thinking they are fetting a deal and get ripped off because they don't pay attention....
