The truck had the air bag light on that said it needed to be serviced. We didn't have time to get a new truck and felt very unsafe the entire drive. The truck also had a terrible smell from the ax/heat so it stunk the entire drive. Reserved a trailer on 11/29/22 for pickup on 11/30/22 for the West Roxbury, MA location for 8am. At 8am I was called from that location to be informed that the trailer was not available and was rerouted to Stoughton, MA for pickup at 8:30am that day. At 9am received a call from Stoughton asking if I was still picking up since I was 30 minutes late. I was reserved with a credit card At the end of the day when I returned the trailer no carport to unhook and was down pouring rain. you guys started off my day bad and ended the same Reguards, Andy PolvayAndy P.
I pre ordered and prepaid a rental van online and also ordered some boxes. When I came in to pick up the van, they forgot the boxes. They called me a short while after I left to remind me of the boxes. I came back a little later to pick them up. When I got the bill, they had charged me twice for the boxes. The address is wrong and I couldn't check in which made me late to where I needed to be. Then when I wanted to extend the rental I was told I had to pay $26 extra dollars and I had to return the truck to Stoughton instead of Brockton where I was ending my trip.ASHLEY K.

My reservation was transferred to 224 Washington ST per my request. 663 told me he was too busy to take my payment for my reservation and offered no guidance on how to get the keys for van. It seems this location is in the middle of remodeling, which makes it not very welcoming. The employee working the counter couldn't help me, because I was renting storage and that's not their job. I borrow a truck without inspecting the truck with the worker who was in charge and After finish using the truck I was call 3hrs later after returning the truck early and have the truck expected after returning it they call me 3hrs later and told me there was a tear in the truck knowing I didn't break anything 3hrs later they call with a bro king thing in the car but when expecting the car when I was there there was no damage. I was very disappointed and mad and will never use a car from them again I learn my lesson and never again. The drop off was frustrating! Uhaul changed the location from a 12 minute drop off to a 41 minute drop off. In contacting them which took over 1 hour ( you are placed on long holds before you can speak to anyone) to request the 12 minute drop off site back, I was told that the 12 minute drop off site was full and so I had to travel much further to a location on Washington in Stoughton. When I questioned who would reimburse the gas to get there, I was given additional miles. What about my time? Very poor planning on Uhaul's part. You know how many trucks are rented out! When I booked the truck I told you that I would return it on 9/3. Arrangements should have been made by UHaul to honor the agreement with the customer and not waste people's time.Raymond L.
My order included 3 dollies. Only one was available. The website makes no mention that dollies are not guaranteed. However, by not doing so, I was not informed that there would (or even could) be an issue. So after getting the truck I had to spend extra time (of the limited time I had the vehicle) and extra money (both in miles/gas and in purchasing 2 dollies from home depot). Be more transparent: say that dollies are or are not available. I would have made a different deciison about the day of my move.Sean L.

There was no information given about disarming the units in any of the emails I got about my online reservation, so I had the siren go off multiple times and had to go to the office and wait until a representative was off the phone to find out why. This information should be in the emails about how to check in. Also, google maps said that access lasted until 10pm so I drove out later in the evening only to find out it had closed earlier. I didn't have a problem with UHaul until the day after I moved out. I was moving to Texas the next day after I cleared my storage. I had two objects I couldn't load on my Penske truck. Time was not on my side I had to move fast by my self the storage closes at 7pm. Now I had to wait a hr and a half for a lock smith. That's why in my survey I was no to access hrs. The manager and I got along good. My thinking is I was going to rent a truck from uhaul but I canceled and chose Penske who had a better fleet to me. Now I owe all this money for two junk pieces of furniture. I guarantee you they did not keep in the storage area waiting on me to pick up. Moving is typically horrible and stressful but the experience at U-Haul made my situation better for sure. Clean and professional, the automated process is very streamline, my unit and truck rentals were ready and the process was seamless. There was also an associate, wasn't able to get his name but he had many tattoos, was so helpful and gave my direction where I needed. Sherrie, the manager at the Stoughton, MA facility, is always very helpful and always very professional. The rest of the staff there are also. you cant nickel and dime and if a customer wonts do throw trash away they should be able to and with renting a truck I will be joining the class action lawsuit against your company for the way they determine gas in the vehicle it is unfair to a person who is renting a vehicle to make a gas gauge move in a vase truck it takes a minimum of $10 of gas with a needle to move at all and driving 11.
