Allison T | Online Move InI didn't realize the trailer required a 2" ball. Wasn't obvious and probably my bad -didn't read directions close enough. Brought my 2 5/8 trailer hitch. Had to purchase a uhaul hitch. Makes me believe it a plot to make me spend more since there is not a button to verify that I have a 2" ball on my hitch. It's business I get it, get the customer to spend more. But customer's also have a memory.

And when returning the trailer, it was simple, drop and go. I would rent from them again. This location always seems to have plenty of equipment to choose from.

Omar aCustomer Service is abysmal. No truly believable greeting from the customer service rep (seemed put out that I was there) and NO acknowledgement from the person the original rep went to seek out for assistance with the obvious issues he was having with the contract/computer (he seemed even more put out)?! The Gentlemen with the cleaning cart, pushing a broom, actually asked if I'd been helped when he entered the floor (a bit surprising but nice). I mentioned I had reserved six blankets, the rep acknowledged it was in the contract but yet, I drove off without them, not entirely their fault but it seems to me that they would have the equipment ready to roll with ALL ancillary stuff. Additionally, the fuel level of the truck in the computer was not accurate (7/8 vs 11/16 at best) and I had to find the truck on my own and drive it to the trailer that I was asked to deliver on behalf of the company?! Really? Very disappointed and frustrated.

Chelsea TThe lot was knee deep in snow and I had to get a layer of snow and ice from the hood and windshield off myself which was about a foot deep and have to sit for 30 minutes as it defrosted. I also had to load the most of the utility myself as the employee was not much help as it took about an 30 to get checked in and another 40 minutes to get the vehicle out of the lot.

Edward TWhen I rented this vehicle I noticed that the coolant level was low. I phoned UHAUL told them the situation they said if I bought antifreeze that I would be reimbursed. I did not get reimbursed. Almost 20 bucks. I guess my next UHAUL rental will go without. That's what I get for trying to help do someone else's job ??

Seth vTell customers to look for and respond to the text you send about verifying the gas tank amount. I was told I didn't fill the uhaul up to the proper gas level, when I absolutely did! I filled it yo exactly where it was when I picked it up! But because I hadn't even seen, let alone responded to your text, I still got charged for the extra gas. I was moving my elderly Mom! I don't usually read unsolicited texts! Really uncool.

ali hNot only did my PICKUP location change at the last minute, my DROPOFF location was changed TWICE at the last minute. Then, when I dropped off with 1/16th less fuel in the tank compared to when I picked up, the guy charged me over $35!!! The nerve, after U-Haul changed locations on me THREE times!

Caprice LI had to drop my trailer at 1am did you my work schedule. The app did not work, had to call customer service for returning process, very helpful!!! I was unable to get the trailer disconnected from my vehicle roadside assistance was not helpful and wanted to charge me. I had to call the non emergency police number to get help disconnecting the trailer from my vehicle. Again the app was not working and not useful!

JIM LFirst truck got contract had to change truck as I had many cockroaches running around. Had to go show them and redo everything with a different truck. A/C only intermittently would blow cold air through the vents. Not impressed as I dove across half the country in 100 degree temperatures.

They gave me a storage room really close to the POD so I didn't have to walk a distance. They were/are just amazing! I have had storage at this location 1,5 years. Always helpful.

Took me out of state and it was 6 months before I could get my things. At this point I was not on sight to get my belongings and I hit a lot of road blocks. I explained my situation to Paul and he went above and beyond to help me problem solve and get things working. He provided services that were well outside of what he was required to do and really took so much stress out of the experience. I know storage units are plentiful but they really care here. If you're looking in the area I would highly recommend using this location!

deborah d | Premières impressionsThe facility is new so it is very well lit and clean, however the maintenance is a little suspect! The main covered cargo staging area is still not operational which is a problem since if there are multiple people picking up or dropping off things everyone is cramped into one small sliding door on the front side of the building. We had the unit for around 30 days and the covered cargo area was not functional in all that time. Luckily the rain has not started yet, but when it does the current situation will not work and i'd advise you to fix the covered cargo area before the bad weather occurs.

For example the under cover loading bay was not working which was inconvenient and the staff took a long time to find an open unit in the computer system which seemed really cumbersome. The staff were polite enough but they were a little frustrated with the antiquated computer system. This seems to be a problem at any UHAUL place. I suggest UHAUL overhaul their imputed system.
