The mileage was not correct. I'm getting charged for 132 miles when I drove locally no more than 60 miles. No one took a walkthrough of the vehicle with me. The vehicle was dirty inside the cargo area and now I'm getting charged for a cleaning fee.

Gary helped me at the desk! He was very pleasant and gave me the direction that was needed at the front desk. I couldn't say you guys need improvement. Each and every employee was exceptionally nice. Even when I had to come back and get a set of keys after I dropped the truck off. ( I forgot them) they helped me find them. It was an overall good experience!!!

I was charged an extra $45 without any information provided. I called customer service several times (transferring back and forth, waiting for ~ an hour each time) to find out the reason. Finally someone told me a general manager would contact me. Unfortunately, after a week, still, nobody contacts me for the reason I have this additional charge!

Apparently there was a glitch in the U-Haul system with the reservation that I had made. I had booked a one-way rental and was contacted letting me know this was an error and could only vehicles had to be dropped back off at the same location. This was a major issue for my move. Assistant manager Gary helped me the best he could with price adjusting to accommodate for my inconvenience which I really appreciated.

It takes so so so long every single time to get a car. I downloaded the app, filled out everything, paid, took pictures of my drivers license, etc. etc. and I STILL have to go to the counter and wait 30 minutes and do all these extra steps and essentially re-do everything I already did online. Also, the staff is always so confused on the processes and what needs to be done and the information is different every time. They rarely know what they have in stock even though I always purchase ahead of time online, etc. etc. Someone from Uhaul should really go and check this place out because it just seems like a training issue or protocol or is just outdated and not in sync with all the new services Uhaul offers online. The truck needs new suspension and tires needed to be realigned with steering. I was afraid to drive the truck because of the swerving and bouncing around. Also, I received conflicting schedules from the resin at location than overall scheduler online.

This location was excellent the clerk Gary went above and beyond to solve our problems. We had booked a truck for Saturday and when we got there a different location they didn't have one called U-Haul to ask where it was and kept getting the run around saying none were available anywhere in Southern California after approximately 45 minutes was told one just popped up how long would it take you to get to the Tustin location. We went right away only to find out they had none. But the clerk Gary keep trying to come up with a solution finally telling me one was coming in from Phoenix on Monday and would check on there progress and get back to me . He called me early Sunday afternoon saying that it was there and we went right away and picked it up

Check in took 20 minutes then was asked the same questions I had already answered via the online check in. When I asked Nicholas why he was asking the same questions he had no answer for me. One of the check in photos of the trucks front end bumper was old, not current. I was charged $7.00 for a utility dolly that I did not use. It was still tie wrapped to the truck when the truck was returned, I'll need a refund for that please...

The wait time to check in was ridiculous. Only two agents working and there should have been three on a weekend. The online system was confusing and combursome. It asked to create an account and the picture ID portion didn't work and the agent had to use his own phone to process my drivers license. The agents were friendly. Not enough parking to leave your vehicle.

The online reservation system was easy and efficient. I liked that I was able to complete most paperwork on line. It would have been nice if I could have completed all of the paperwork online. The staff at the rental center were all courteous and got me in and out quickly.

I received a missed call the day before my reservation date. No voicemail was left. I had reserved a 15 foot truck for Saturday at 8am. At 7:27am of Saturday morning, I received a voicemail stating that there was not a 15 foot truck available and they were working on a solution. I called back a few minutes later and waited on hold for 15 minutes. The lady who answered was not at the Uhal location, but offered me a truck at 2pm in cities that were 10-20 miles away. I had people coming at 9 to help me move, and 2pm was not going to work. After several minutes of talking, she was able to find a 10 foot truck at 2pm in Tustin, my original reservation location. I took that, though told her I may have to cancel because I didn't have help at that time. The Tustin location then called me back and said they had a 10 foot truck for me at that time. They were very apologetic and did their best to accommodate my needs. Since the truck was small, I had to make two trips instead of one. It was a bit stressful to have that happen the morning of my move. I would have appreciated a voicemail the night before, and a direct number to call and talk with the manager at the location of my reservation. I do appreciate that I was refunded $50, but I won't likely be using the Tustin Uhal location again, as a similar situation happened last time I reserved a truck.

I was at a severe lack of two things for my recent move from Irvine to Santa Cruz: money and time. Uhaul wasted both of these resources for me in copious amounts. The equipment, that I had reserved in advance and double checked would be there again 48 hours before my move, was suddenly unavailable to me. I received a phone call, the night before I was to pick up my truck and trailer first thing in the morning, informing me that there was no trailer for me at that location or any location within an hour drive. They informed me that if I wanted the trailer, not only would I have to still pick up my truck at their location in Tustin, but that I would also have to pick up the trailer at a location in Los Angeles (an hour away, more in traffic...) and then return to Irvine to pack my things before having to drive north again for my eventual moving destination of Santa Cruz. This effectively added about 100 miles and more than three hours to my moving day. I would not be compensated in any way, although the uhaul agent did say they could add more time to my default 3 days with the truck, which in no way addressed the problem or the number of other problems this created. Had I not argued with the uhaul representative in Los Angeles, I would have also ended up having to pay to twice as much for the trailer as I was quoted. No matter, though, because in the end the extra gas and miles and hours that this cost me would make this move much more expensive anyway. Uhaul would offer no apologies, no compensation for my botched reservation, and no compassion or help during an extremely difficult time. This was a terrible and stressful experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone, and I would strongly discourage my friends from going this route and trusting uhaul with their next move. I know that I won't.

I want to give Sarah at this location a mention because she saved the day for us! We received incorrect information from another rep and based our reservation on it. When we called to confirm Sarah was able to fix the issue and went above and beyond to get us moved in! We thought we were going to have to park our truck full of belongings somewhere once we arrived and hope they weren’t stolen but Sarah got us all set up with a unit and even after leaving the office she sent us information to get us all set up for after hours move in. She deserves a huge kudos and a raise!

Andrew and staff were completely and utterly unaccommodating and unprofessional. The units are not the actual size they advertise. Customer service was at an all time low.
