The only complaint I have is that I asked about renting a larger unit and the guy responded with". I can't do that, only the manager can and I don't know where he is right now." Then I passed at least 4 (I didn't go down every row) larger units that I would rather have rented. I was in a hurry and need to unload the truck. Given the option I would have gladly waited to be able to get a bigger unit.

Spent nearly 15 minutes waiting for someone to come into the store and greet us and get our reservation started. Then he couldn't find the keys to the truck we rented because staff didn't' put them asway properly. Very disorganized. We returned our truck right at 7pm and as I was walking up to the double doors, a staff member inside locked the doors. I proceeded to the front door and he was there getting ready to lock the door and told me I have to use the after hours return, shut the door and locked it. He could have at least told me where to park the 26' truck. After a very long day of moving, his rudeness and poor customer service was the last thing I needed. I will not be returning to this location, nor will I recommend it.

70 % of your drop off locations are worst .no parking space or facility available wasted my 2 hrs at 11.pm at night running in circles looking for a after. Hours drop off.i am going to write a detailed review about this on the blogs and review sites.

We rented 3 items from this place. 2 trailers and a 26ft truck. We booked the truck 2 months in advance and even had it confirmed 2 days prior to picking it up. The day before we did pick it up uhaul called saying they no longer had the truck ready. And down graded me to a smaller truck with no difference in price compared to the truck I originally booked. Trailers had to be picked up at another location 30mins away because again, they didn't have the equipment available that was available a day prior. As stated these were not random show up and ask for a truck/trailer. These were reserved months in Advance. Never using them again until they reach out and make things right. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Got car trailer and broke twice had people come fix and still not work right had to leave my jeep in Idaho and figure how to go back and get it. The truck was extremely gutless. I have used uhaul many times and there truck and something not right. When talked to the office about it when dropped off early. They acted like not there problem. Also was told I pay for 5 days and if brought back early got money back. The. Take back and told that they not refunding me nothing. Also was told that take trailer off of the bill and refund the other trailer that never happened and acted like was crazy. Then told me to figure it out they can't help me!!!!!!! This is the drop off location in grand junction horrible help horrible customer service and screwed me over. Won't call me back.

The Refrigerator Dolly was horribly in disrepair in that using it felt like the Wheel bearings were completely shot. Using it felt like it had brakes on all the time and the wheels were grinding. I asked to get a credit because of the extra work it was using it, but was only told they would look at it. I hope they actually did. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to try using that Dolly.

Although it is not necessarily their responsibility to notify renters of stains inside the cargo bay, it is the renter's responsibility to open and inspect all areas of the vehicle before leaving a lot. With that being said, this location was more than willing to accept the explanation of oil stains and grease left from previous use and not to charge me for cleaning. Thank you very much for your cooperation and your willingness to make the total use of renting this equipment as seamless as possible.

Twin falls Kimberly road location. After 3 reservations being messed up we were able to finally get a truck but it was a local truck that needed serviced. The guy at the counter sitting down was short with us matter of fact our directive to pick it up came from a lady from corporate. We signed papers and they handed us a key we had to retrieve truck from back parking lot. There was no inspection of the truck before going out checking to make sure gas was where it needed to be by an employee. Just told us in the parking lot where it was. We've rented from uhaul over the years and familiar with the procedures. We were just relieved to get a truck. We had 3 reservations ans 3 trucks that were not available.

Only issue is that person checking me in was also trying to help someone on the computer who kept asking questions. My feeling is that he could have said " I`ll help you with your computer problem as soon as I'm finished with my customer ". Other than that, it was ok but I didn't need additional ID. I also wasn't able to call office (20 min wait) to confirm I was on my way.

The gentleman in Twin that helped me on the front-end was incredibly kind and understanding of our situation (we rented the trailer to move items out of my father in-law's house after he unexpectedly passed away). He secured the trailer, made sure I was comfortable with how to hook everything up, and we safely made it back to Portland, OR.

Overall it is a good trip truck and Trailer were in good shape. Only thing is the stereo system needs a CD player or a USB port so you can have music you like.

Some of the staff members were very helpful and friendly, but some were grumpy and terse. I had no idea my storage unit, with the same Uhaul company, was going to be about 2 miles away from where I dropped my equipment, and it was hard to find. When you've driven hundreds of miles and packed and unpacked a Uhaul, and you are sore and tired and irritable, it would be really nice to have a prompt, easy, painless process when you're done with the equipment... that's not quite what I experienced at this location. Also, the Idaho Uhaul agent I spoke to on the phone on April 3rd was very rude and unprofessional; she had an obvious bias toward me due to where I am located in the state.

The rental hand truck and the blanket in the back of the truck gets in the way and takes up valuable space. Get rid of it, and let the cudtomer rent it seperately.

Firstly, I am always glad when management solicits customer feedback because it tells me that management is committed to improving service delivery. I've never rented a vehicle from U-Haul before. Staff person who checked me in at pickup explained information too quickly, plus speech was inarticulate, mumbled, and difficult to understand. First-time customers would be genuinely appreciative if all management and staff understood this and took the time and effort to ensure they explain all information clearly for those unfamiliar. Separately, I had difficulty obtaining information about vehicle and property protection coverages offered by U-Haul. Information on the website was summary, at best. The multiple contacts I inquired with via phone or in-person did not know how to address my inquiry appropriately. Not that every staff person should be required to know all information about U-Haul vehicle and property protection coverages, only that management should provide training to staff for how to handle such inquiries. Thank you for permitting me to provide this feedback to management.

The customer service was excellent. The gentleman helped me load up my car on the towing by presetting up the ratchet straps and helped me make sure my car was secure before I left the store. The U haul had a crack in the windshield and several water bottles inside. Other than that, everything was perfect!

There is nothing to improve. The staff was the friendliest and most accommodating staff that I have ever had in my over 15 moves. They went above and beyond and even gave me a ride to get my keys when I forgot to bring them. This is the way service should be done. I do not recall all the names, but there was a gal and a mr. Jeremy that especially stood out.

Rachets were rusty. Good thing i had some WD-40! Trailer worked great after that! I was double charged because I was 12 minutes late though. I sat waiting for help for about 8 of those minutes. Not cool

I made an online reservation for a trailer rental & did the full online rental process to save time. I show up & have to go thru all the standard rental process again. No time saved doing the online check-in? Then they go to hook up trailer to my truck & the trailer has a flat tire, so then I am waiting for them to replace the flat tire on the trailer. If u-haul is going to offer this on-line reservation & check-in, everything should be ready to go when a customer shows up for equipment pick-up!

I had a unit at the Twin Falls location for 11 years, always paid on time if not early. When I moved out of the facility I was 4 days into a new month which I had prepaid for and was denied a refund of the Month. Not only did they not give me the refund but the clerk was not at all competent and just stood there shrugging when I asked why she wasn't giving me a refund. Upon speaking to the manager he was just rude and stated that I hadn't pre-paid. Worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul

Twin falls Idaho branch should be bulldozed! Horrible location, didn't feel safe leaving my things in that rats nest. Moved my stuff out the next day! Lost $45, better than losing my stuff!

Guys there were great, however when I showed up with my reservation number they didn't have the unit available. I asked joe that could happen and they explained it didn't matter if I reserved it, there was nothing available. They gave me what was available which were two 5x8 units instead of the 10x16 which I had reserved, unforgivably the cost for that will be $108 a month at $55 a unit per month instead of $64 for the 10x16. I asked if they would honor the price quoted and they said no, I had to pay for both units. I found that frustrating since I reserved the unit I needed at the price I could afford. Fortunately the first month is free so I have found another cheaper company to move to. Although I now have to reload all of my stuff and move it...again. This should not have played out this way. When you do business with a company you expect them to deliver on what they agreed to. I am currently dealing with an almost double overcharge cost on my truck rental as well. Overall not happy with uhaul. The manager at the location is very pleasant, just can't help.
