The two people you had there were more interested in taking on their personal phones and helping the black customers while being dismissive and rude to the two white customers of which I was one. I will never use this location again. They should be fired.TERRY D.

Check engine light was on. Tire Pressure Monitoring System was showing a fault. Trailer monitoring system was showing a fault. NO FURNITURE DOLLYS were available, although we had ordered two online. I completely understand in a post COVID world, good help s hard to find. All 3 associates had airpods in their ears. The agent who checked me in was literally on the phone as he was asking me to verify my name and address, which is not only unprofessional, but highly inappropriate and not how you handle PPI. The first cargo van he checked me in wasn't even on the lot and he had to check me into a second van. He didn't explain the process, but had me stand there with a contract and awaiting keys. Eventually he explained, but it's still bad customer service. The van was clean and that was the only plus to the entire experience.BONITA W.
I originally reserved a 10' truck at the Acton Road Birmingham truck share location for Saturday, October 16th at 8AM. I was unaware the truck share is unavailable on Saturday's (until I got to the location and tried picking up the truck online) as I was still able to successfully reserve the truck. I had to find another uhaul location and reserve a cargo van instead. It was the only available option. This put a major strain on my move as the cargo van is MUCH smaller, but I had to move on the 16th so I didn't have a choice. In the future, please let people know if a location will be unavailable for pickup at the time they have reserved. I thought that was a no-brainer but clearly not. Merci!Jessica M.

The person checking me in was probably new and needs to loosen up and smile. The man hooking me up did his job but didn't explain anything to me about the trailer hookup or operation. The inside of trailer was dirty and needed to be swept out.JERRY F.
When we arrived there was no one inside. There were at least 6 customers who came in after us. We all waited for at least 8 minutes before the guys came back in. Now, we could see that they were out assisting other customers, so it was probably just a staffing issue (like most businesses right now). Everything was good and personnel were nice enough and accommodating, but the truck was extremely dirty inside of the cabin; wet dog stench, big chunks of dog hair in the passenger seat, super dusty and dirty. I was shocked!! Have rented plenty of uhauls before, never seen anything like this, especially in covid times, and I was driving with my elderly mother. I made an appointment to install a hitch more than a week in advance and dropped off the car. A few hours later they called to inform me that it wasn't in stock. I had to go back a pick it up, and did not hear back from them until I called the corporate 800 number. No apology was ever said by anyone, including the 800 number rep.Bennett J.

Check in process was long because of 3 other individuals waiting who seemed to have complicated issues (gift cards, etc.) But another employee from the back noticed the delay and came over to help us, and after that we got out before the other 3 were even finished with their issue. Not sure what the bottleneck was, but I appreciate the other employee recognizing it and helping us get on our way during a busy moving day!ANNA H.
The car hauler I was rented looks and towed like it was put into service in 1990. I was suprised nothign fell off of it. The fenders on it looked like they had been smasjed several times and beater back inot shape with a hammer. It is not the qualty I have come to expect from Uhaul.JOSHUA W.

The truck was filthy and there were many, many ants crawling around inside. On the dash, seats, door, floor, cup holders. It was awful. If I had not been so pressed for time, I would have take the truck back right away. I had to spray Raid inside over everything. Didn't kill all the ants. I drove from Bham to Atlanta with ants. Some of them crawled on me (my neck and arm) while I was driving. Never again.Liana H.

The Store was supposed to open at 9. No one showed until 9:45. I had movers scheduled, so now we are out double the money for movers because of how long it took for the person who showed at 9:45 to help us. Both employees who came took personal phone calls on their cell phones while assisting customers who had been waiting an hour for the store to open up. My first month of storage was supposed to be free per the promo and the employee charged me and then informed me there was nothing she could ro and I would have to come back next month if I got billed then. When we came back in after unloading to return the truck, an employee was sitting behind the desk on a stool sleeping. My husband got a picture of this. UHaul Customer Service resolved a critical issue by securing a truck from this location, at the last minute. They were awesome and we were on our way in no time, after the original location told us there were no trucks available at the day and time of pickup, after we got there. The back of the van was disgusting because there were food leftovers underneath the black mat. The smell was horrendous and caused our cargo to retain the smell even after we removed it from the vehicle. We let the workers know that the van needed to be cleaned underneath the mat and they apologized for the low quality product and said they would attend to it. The customer service was excellent, but the product needs to receive a better quality check in between each customer.Kip F.

The truck cab was not clean. Old French fries on the floorboard around the seats. The interior of the box bed area had also not been cleaned. (I gave a post office box key to the uhaul attendant when I returned the truck). However, the vehicle ran well. It had less than 10 000 mikes showing on the speedometer. Good equipment, but had obviously not been cleaned from previous rental.JAMES F.

The cargo van was dirty on the outside and dented on the passengers rear panel. I picked up some cheese iwrapped in cellophane put them in the back of the truck and there was dirt on the outside of the cellophane packages when I pick them up. So the floor in the back was dirty as well.Charles P.

Apparently the person in charge of setting out the keys for the contactless pickup did not do this the previous night. I went to pickup the truck at 8 and was not able to get the keys. I waited around for the store to open at 9, but the only employee did not ARRIVE until 9:15. There was a long line, and at 9:40 I was able to get my truck after waiting 1,5+ hours. When I went to return the truck, the key drop box was busted open, so I went back inside to drop off the key. None of the "contactless pickup/dropoff" was contactless at all. I can understand if something came up and the contactless pickup system were down or someone couldn't make it in to do their part, but some notice would be nice. Just an email to say "your pickup is no longer contactless, please arrive at the store at 9:30 and we will give you your key" instead of letting me furiously dig through the app with no notice trying to figure out how to pickup the truck. Every step of the way this process was bad. 0/10 would not recommend.THOMAS R.
