Customer service sucked, no greeting, could barely type because nails were too long. Was not a pleasant experience, where you are supposed to stop and get checked out after returning the truck no one came out.

While the signage at the store and online states it closes at 7pm, at 6:30 they turn off the lights inside and close the doors. I was attempting to return my rental and they rudely told me the return lane closes at 6pm and I would need to download an app to do the return myself. Not very professional and rude staff overall. The woman who rented the van to me in the first place also was on her personal cell phone the entire transaction discussing her bad relationship to someone on the other end. Lastly, when I got in the vehicle there was less gas and more miles than stated on the checkout sheet. I had to go back in and prove them that it wasn't me who drove that many miles without ever leaving the parking lot. Luckily they fixed this for me. Shame this location is run so poorly.

The entrance was almost blocked/ very narrow. I had 26' truck and the 4 wheel transport so it was very hard to drop off.

A gentleman named Mo helped me on Saturday, he was friendly, courteous, very helpful, knowledgeable. I did not have cash with me to give him a tip, but I just wanted to let you know that, you hired a wonderful worker in every sense of the word. Customer service is a lost art, but not at Uhaul with Mo, Thank you again for making my experience a wonderful one. I was "rented" a van for a few days. It took 4 hrs to rent, after the long wait, I was handed the keys to a horrible van with no gas. I asked to extend my rental in which I was granted. But the next day, I was told they were calling the cops to say I stole it. I was never given a receipt or signed anything to show I rented. So I returned to the closest U-Haul. Then they threaten to call the cops again because I didn't return to their U-Haul. I think I could have kept the van forever due to their mistake.

The Springfield MO location where I picked up my u haul trailer was perfect. When I went to drop the trailer off in Milwaukee WI I drove around to 5 different u haul dealers before finally getting one to accept on taking my trailer. I spent more time and gas going from location to location trying to find a u haul dealer. Once I finally got to the 5th location the employee outside accepting the drop offs was rude and felt like I was an inconvenience to him.

The ONLY problem I ever had with this location was the log-in system to open the door. EVERY VISIT to this facility , I ALWAYS had a problem with the code box. If it was after hours I would need to come back at a different time when there were people available in the office to assist me.

The young girl who helped me barely made eye contact and proceeded to eat a bag of Funyun chips the entire time she helped me. It was so unprofessional and unsanitary. Then, the key tag had a different number than the truck and the contract so it took forever to locate the truck.

I returned my equipment and got an email a few days later saying it was still not returned. I called to tell them and they said I'd need to call the GM in a couple days to look at the cameras. It required about 5 calls to be resolved. The customer service is awful and I hope I never have to rent anything again.

Customer service is very bad. I dropped off the trailer on Friday 2nd 2024 and they told me that they would take care of it. But till now I didn't get any email that they received the trailer and I'm still getting emails from U-haul that I didn't return it yet. I called them but no answer and called 800 number, the agent told me they called the drop off location and they will take care of it but still I haven't received any email.

First trailer that we hooked up to had Burt wires then they hooked my girlfriend up to another trailer and failed to update there system she left and after I inspected the trailer the safety chain was broken and the ramp was hanging out the back I then had to detour to return the trailer to get another one and then when I asked to see a manger they said joey was not there and I asked again to see a manager they gave me Amir which we did finally get a trailer but compared to past records I feel that I was over charged and was given the run around I will never recommend this specific location as they were unqualified people that did not know how to hook up a trailer and do a inspection and are very very unprofessional

I have rented from Uhaul 8 tmes, and have rented from this location 5 times in the past, all great, professional experiences. This was the only negative experience I have had, so over all I would still recommend this location, but if i select that option I probably wont get a follow up phone call. This time was not up to the standard they have upheld in the past. The rental started with me being informed that they did not a dolly, dispit me reserving one. I ask why they did not have one, when i had reserved a dolly, and was told 'other people rent them and don't return them." I ask if we could use one of the five they had there for sale and was told "no, those are to buy." Telling me that people dont return the rented dollys means that the staff knows they have a shortage of furniture dollys, yet that have done nothing to replace them. I stood there looking at something i reserved, but because it was "for sale" and not for rent i could not use it. Moving on to the truck. The truck was disgustingly dirty. It is winter, I expect some water from snow on the floor, I didn't mind that. The center council was covered in something wet, something sticky, with hairs stuck to it, and also what looked like boogers. It was obvious that the most basic wipe down was not done by the previous renter, or the staff at Uhaul. In addition, the truck was at 1/4 tank of gas, so my fist stop when picking the truck up was getting gas so I didn't run out. As a result I ended up returning the truck with much more gas in it than when I received it. When people rent a truck they want to be able to begin moving their belongings immediately, not have to drive straight to a gas station. The next person will likely drive straight to a gas station as well, and the cycle of disappointment will continue unless this is addressed and Uhaul takes the initiative to rent this truck with more fuel in it. Like I stated before, this location has always been great. They have given me a clean truck with atleast 3/4 tank of fuel, and have always had the add on accessories such as a moving dolly or the furniture blankets that I reserved. The experience was a disappointment, and I would like to be contacted to follow up. Merci.

A majority of the staff was very friendly except later when I came back. There was an older gentleman when I returned a U-Haul who got up in my face when I told him I couldn't hear him across the parking lot. He was disrespectful. He made me feel incompetent when it was my first time renting a truck.

Employees using personal phones to take pictures of your drivers license is quite disturbing. The trailer was pretty old and banged up. It rained and my property inside wet and there was leaks from the door.

There were days the outside doors wouldn't open off the access code would have to steady to to the front office for help. Some times I'll pay my storage and the people at the front wouldn't take their lock off so I can access my storage go to the front and they say they sending someone back and no one would come back to take it off it was days it was left on just like I paid January they left their lock on all month until I had to go up there for them to take it off so I can get the rest of my stuff out. The bathrooms needs to be clean more. But other wise than all that i had no other problems. Thanks

I have had to move things in the parking lot, which was difficult as the parking lot in the back is sloped. It was harder to load things in and out of the parking lot storage unit was fine adequate but just a lot of difficulty navigating the downstairs yard and entrance was sometimes not working smoothly. Specifically the code entry.

Horrible experience, had some health issues which lead to me not working, contacted u haul upon release from hospital kept in contact well after even gave my last 16 dollars upon being lied to that my unit wouldn't be sold if I made some payment, a week later my unit went to being auctioned! Moved out (cleaned, removed lock, returned key card) and was still charged for another month. This location has some of the slowest, worst customer service. Massive line when I walked in last time, zero urgency on part of people working behind the desk. Something told me not to expect my move out to be handled well, and lo and behold, it wasn't. In the process of moving very heavy boxes of books from the second floor down to a cart on the first floor, a staff member came and took the cart I was using on the second floor on the grounds that 'they aren't supposed to be up there." So my friend and I had to carry each box of books separately all the way down a 75 ft hallway, down stairs, and onto a cart. Super unhelpful and lame. Called U-Haul corporate to ask them to reverse the incorrect charge on my account and they told me to go back to the facility in person because they couldn't get a hold of them on the phone. Multiple staff in a break room talking while Customers waiting to get assistance with no one at the counter on one visit. Often acting as if it is inconvenient to assist you. It was the first time ever using a storage. I placed my move in storage a week prior to the move in. I thought the storage you reserve was guaranteed the storage you would have. I had visited the store twice prior to the move in to see if I needed to downsize the storage I reserved so twice I was shown the display of how big and the size of the storage which I was purchasing. It was false display of the size and misleading information. So when I came to move in and pay for the storage the young lady that waited on me said I had to units side by side which I didn't understand why and I said ok but was not explained to why and the unit I reserved was not available which I could have went elsewhere for my storage. Didn't realize there was a problem with the unit until the were saying my refrigerator and my chest wasn't going to fit so when I looked at storage I realized that's not what I paid for .So I had one of the staff come over to the storage unit and he didn't understand how to explain the size of the storage to us because I said you rents a 6ft storage to put furniture in this is more for boxes and small items and I went back to the counter for a refund for one of the units and told the staff if I would have known this I would have left with my furniture. But the staff insists that's what I reserved and I told them again who rents something that small and the price of the unit I paid for. I was really upset and dissatisfied with the whole experience at this location because If easy was moving I would have had the uhaul reloaded with all my items. I think the whole staff needs to be retrained on showing someone a display and the sizing of units .Also there were very small carts to use at this particular location which made no sense when a person is unloading. I just know I would never use this location again and as soon as I'm able I will be removing my items from this location.

Staff was not always friendly or knowledgeable. They take forever to answer the phone. Last day I had my unit, I finally spoke with one of the staff her name is Luz she was so helpful. The process here is always fast and convenient. The manager I believe... He was calling the shots he really helped me out. The cash register guy he did my processing he was amazing totally cared about my children and I getting in same getting everything we needed. I've used this place and have recommended and will continue to recommend them! Plus the units themselves are very clean and dry. No smells. The trucks are always in decent conditions and reservations are ready and on time.

Bad customer service. No help what so ever. I was rushed and told they were trying to go home so they couldn't help me by switching my storage unit. Because the one I paid for wasn't clean and it was open like someone had just used it. The guy tells me to put all of my belongings in another locker and come back in the morning to tell the manager that I transferred my own things to another locker without proper paperwork for that locker he advised me to put my things in that locker that wasn't mine they never tryed to help me once it got close to closing I'm a customer and a business owner and that wasn't good great or bad customer service it was the worst I've ever experienced with uhaul. And I've been doing my business with uhaul for 10years this is the worst customer service ever dealing with uhaul…… they were supposed to fix the problem not make more problems for the customer or them selves. In the end you guys be blessed learn how to be more helpful polite respectful and patients with the customers. If you have a customer with a problem at 7:56pm and you close at 8pm fix the issue and then go home supposed to make the customer happy and help the business your working for more money and again keeping customers happy…

The employees didn't want to help me get the proper & correct unit for my belongings after finding my unit i rented to be opened and not cleaned out. When I got there. They were just worried about closing early than to help a customer who's been there since 7:20pm trying to get them to either compensate me for the mishap on their end or transfer me to a better efficient working unit. The guy gave me a refund faster than they did transferring me to a better unit. After I was charged for a unit that wasn't ready for me and was dirty and opened when I arrived. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced with u haul. And I use uhaul for moving my clients around state to state.

The temperatures got way above what they were supposed to (I have pictures from multiple trips of the thermometer) and there was a dead rat in my storage unit (I have pictures of that too). I had boxes and things that suffered damage as a result of the extreme >100F temperatures in the building. I feel like I didn't get what I paid for in that regard. The access was nice, I liked the facility, but it wasn't well maintained and was not temperature regulated during the summer. The office folks are also difficult to reach even during normal business hours. The building was secure and I felt that my stuff was safe from theft, I also love the old building.

It is odd encountering numerous homeless people who live in the storage building. A heads up would have been nice. Furthermore, we moved out of our unit by 8 am on the 26th and informed staff. Counter person said we would still be charged at 8:18 even though we moved out. At 8:30 you charged us $89,95 for an empty storage unit. I want my money back! I will be calling Monday morning to remedy this situation.

I could not get through on the phone all day,kept being sent to call center where they could not answer my questions. Call center tried 3 time with three different call center employees. I had to go down there after work to get questions answered and aquire a storage locker.

My husband was smacked in the face with the tow hitch while at the drop off location, during business hours. While dropping off the tow dolly early in order to more easily unload the truck, there was a staff member in the return equipment line. After WE, my husband and I, unhooked the vehicle (with some minor help from the staff due to one of the metal chains, placed by the uhaul person at the pick up location, being stuck), the staff member instructed me to back off the tow dolly, after confirming that I was clear to back up, i began to back the car off the tow dolly and the tow hitch popped up and hit my husband solid in the face. The staff member was standing directly next to him and was watching him. Why did the staff member not warn him to back away or just tell me to wait until my husband was clear of the area? My husband now has loose teeth and likely a facial scar. He is lucky he didn't knock put any teeth or chip them and/or break any bones in his face. The staff was only minorly concerned about the welfare of my husband after the incident. Why was staff not more involved in the return of the equipment? We had to do everything ourselves including unhooking the metal chains, to undoing the ratchet straps, and extending the ramp to drive off the tow dolly. The only thing the staff did was roll the tow dolly out of the was after our vehicle was off the tow dolly and minor help with the stuck metal chain. The tow dolly was also taken off during business hours and we later dropped off the truck after hours following all of the steps outlined. We were told that there would be no issue with dropping of the tow dolly early and the truck to follow. I am just waiting for the staff to not check in the tow dolly. We would love to contact this store directly, but ALL phone numbers lead us to the main uhaul menu, which takes hours to get to the "correct" person, which is not on site at the storage center. The customer service system is terrible as well. The system does not nessicarily get you to the correct representative even if you follow the prompts correctly.

Took me nearly 3 weeks and multiple times contacting Uhaul support to get my account closed out after moving out of the unit. Customer service was beyond poor and made what was a relatively easy and smooth experience very frustrating. I would not recommend doing business with this location to anyone. Also the move out date is marked at 7/28/22 but I actually moved out on 7/11/22.

First, our designated building had no carts for us to use. Second, The staff gave me a unit that already had a lock placed on it. I called for help, waited 20 mins, but was on a tight schedule so went to start moving things in. They left because "no one was there" - we called them to come back and remove the lock, while we waited we everything into that unit. When they finally arrived, they said they couldnt help me. She gave me the wrong unit and I needed to move everything to a new unit and n a completely different building. This not only made the already stressful moving experience more stressful, but it wasted about 2 hours of our time and energy because of the staff error and lack of attention to the issue when it occurred. For the trouble of moving everything a SECOND time, they said they would give me a free month of rent and we agreed. When I went to verify the free month they said they will actually only give me 20 % off, but couldn't verify that this actually happened. Overall, very poor service and attention to detail. I can't confirm if I have actually received anything back for the issues but I wanted to communicate to this to hopefully avoid this issue for anyone else. After already moving into a unit, it is unacceptable to make someone move again. The issue should have been caught and remedied immediately, hopefully it will for future patrons! After I move out I will likely not recommend this to anyone else

The facility didn't seem to be very clean. We visited our storage unit several times within two weeks and the same garbage that was laying there when we got there was still laying there outside the storage facility when we left. Also at the doorway there seemed to be an accumulation of a lot of garbage people might've just left there. My husband said the bathrooms were disgusting. I never visited them

I've rented from Uhaul for every single move. This was the first year that I experienced such poor customer service. From the truck I had requested not being available day of (and the staff struggling to think of a solution for over half an hour) to my storage room move out not being processed for over a month. I was sent emails and mail threatening to put a lien on property in the storage unit despite moving out on the 11th of November. I tried calling the Walker's Point location multiple times and was always redirected to the Corporate number. Customer service reps for Corporate sent the Walker's Point location emails to tell them to get in contact with me, but they never did. Finally, I got a final bill yesterday reflecting my move out within the free month, no mention of late fees or anything. I assume it is because the staff finally took the time to actually go to my unit and see that it was cleaned out and empty. I will not be using Uhaul in Milwaukee for future moves. The only good thing you have going for you is being cheaper, but I would gladly pay more money to avoid the headaches I experienced this time around.

Staff is very unprofessional. Don't talk to your customers like they are your friends. Be compassionate when someone presents a problem to you, instead of acting annoyed that you have to follow up, respond to customers emails in a timely manner, allow customers to call the actual store itself if they need support. Found a roach on my belongings (how often are you exterminating?) Also, was charged for the month of December even thought my belongings were removed before the end of November. Spoke to the manager who said he would take care of it, still waiting for my refund…Just overall a ghetto experience. Would NEVER recommend anyone to this facility, nor will I be returning.

Getting the truck was fine, but the storeage location was a problem. 1st they rented me a store that was already rented. I didn't find out til we were there with a truck full and couldn't unload. Then they switched the rooms but I had to get a smaller room. From 10x15 to 10x10. Then I go with 2nd load and the card doesn't work on it's after hours so I had to keep the truck overnight for another night to have the card fixed so I can get into unload the truck. More fees for me. And 3 nights to move what should have been 4 hours.

I had to upgrade my original reservation to a larger unit to store my belongings. When I got to my larger unit, there was a massive pillar in it which takes up a great deal of space that I needed. I didn't have the time or energy to go back and change units AGAIN as I was on a time limit to get things done. So I'm rather displeased that I have a huge pillar taking up the space I needed for storage.

My storage units got wet due to rain. Still haven't heard back from the manager before I left the state. My furniture was damaged due to 2 out of 3 of my storage units being wet in August after the rain. Filed a insurance claim with RepWest and the claim was closed due to no response from Joey. I reserved a certain storage unit in Advance, When it was time to put my belongings in storage, My size unit was no longer available. I was offered two mini units because nothing else was available. There for, I had to go across town to a different location that was more expensive as well. The fact that I traveled across town, would mean, I'm paying more for milage and gas as well. I just got done moving to Milwaukee with my rented UHaul truck. When I arrived the front desk setup my access key to the wrong building so I had to go back to the front desk to get the correct access key for my storage unit building. As I open my storage unit there is no lock in there so I had to go back up to the front again to get the lock. In the process I received an email my reservation was canceled. When everything was moved into the unit, I dropped off the truck with a gentleman working with the UHaul drop offs. A couple days later I don't see a hold on my card or any money taken out for my UHaul truck. My order was cancelled so I'm dealing with that.

The people we spoke with were very helpful but the office hours of only being open until 7 pm were very inconvienient as we had been packing all day and showed up to check in 10 min before close. My experience was also poor as the key card I was given after checking it, when swiped to open the door, gave the message "not valid please check in" or something like that...right after I had checked in about 20 min previous. We got lucky and someone walked out and we went in and when opening my storage unit an alarm went off probably because the system didn't know we were in there. Lastly, turning in the truck was an absolute pain because there was no obvious area on the website to turn in the truck as we were there after store hours. I watched your informational video and the "return your truck" button was no where to be found. My girlfriend eventually figured it out but this was after about 45 min of googling things and attempting to call the help line only to be on hold the entire time. The whole experience was terrible and I am also fairly sure I was charged twice for the truck because when turning it in I had to put in my card information again for some random unknown $71 charge after already paying $62 to innitially rent the truck. This payment has yet to show up on a bank statement so I am unsure if it has gone through but if it does there will be an angry phone call. Overall the customer service was amazing and the people were extremely nice and very helpful and made the rental process very easy, but nearly every other part of the experience was ridiculously stressful.

My storage experience was good however I felt the access system with the card was faulty. I had difficulties swiping my card and would have to swipe several times. The day of my check out I swiped to check in but when I got to my unit my alarm kept going off. Not very good for my anxiety.

This facility has went down hill over last 2 years. The staff used to be helpful and knowledgeable which is no longer the case. The manager is still actually helpful and knows what is going on however. When I moved in initially I had reserved a second floor unit. On day of move in with a 21 foot truck of household items, the only elevator was inaccessible as it was being painted, majority inconvenient. The manager did help me find a unit on first floor at higher cost. The facility alarm system constantly went off anytime I would access my unit. Initially the badge reader never worked so I was given a PIN number for access.. however it appears the alarm system had issues this spring and would constantly be going off when accessing unit. I tried calling office however no one answered. I pushed the call box and no one responded, it was literally a ghost town. So I can not say the place was secure during this time as no one responded and the alarms just kept sounding. It seems like alarm system now works properly and disarms again while I was moving out in June. I did mobile check out but also confirmed with staff upon leaving because it seems like Uhaul mobile apps do not work as intended. My unit was not processed as moved out until 4 days later.

I went to the location at 1500 South 1st Street on Tuesday May 18th to reserve a storage unit. When I got there on Friday at 6:30 PM with movers who were ready to unload their truck, I was told that there was no record of me in the U-Haul system, and the size unit I needed was unavailable. I ended up having to take a unit at the 611 West Puetz location in Oak Creek. Not ideal, but better than nothing. This delay resulted in the movers going into overtime and leaving with all of my belongings on their truck. I will have to pay a $160 storage fee, and everything will be delivered on Monday. This was a nightmare.

I arrived on Saturday, May 15 to find the staff dealing with an outage of its customer service system. The staff managed this difficult issue with grace. I registered for my staff, left to pack and when I returned I received detailed instructions on how to check in. This was my first time using self storage and the staff at Walker's Point location made all the difference.

Storage rental was fine, but this was accompanied by a truck rental. I had a reservation that was cancelled for some reason and I went online to reserve again the morning of my move to when I got the cancellation notice and booked again. I got to U-Haul a little early to see if there was a truck available early, which there was not. I was advised to come back at 2:00 because the 26' truck would be ready. When I got back there was no 26' truck or 20' truck. The staff told me they couldn't help me and offered no explanation why my reservation couldn't be fulfilled. I had no option other than going with a 10' truck. That required me to make not 1, but 3 separate trips while moving. 10/10 would NOT recommend using Walkers Point U-Haul reservations.

My lock was cut off by U haul and replaced with out my knowledge. When I asked if they cut my lock off they lied to me I had to pay $100 for a locksmiths to cut off their lock they put on just to find my lock cutoff inside the locker which I took pictures of. This is unacceptable behavior and I will never deal with you again

I got to the location and asked for help finding my pre-paid locker to which I had to wait over a half hour for and then the staff worker couldn't find it. He dropped me at the locker and walked away and there was a lock on the locker. Then I had to wait in the line for another hour to get a different locker. This location was so disorganized, the staff was not knowledgeable, the people working seemed like they had never worked there a day in their life or as if they were on drugs.

I used U-Haul for the primary purpose of renting a van to move my son from Neenah to Port Washington. That went well. I then utilized free rental of a storage space for a 7-8 days before we could move my son into his new living space. The staff encountered technical difficulties and my given code and later a card did not work to gain access to the space. Then after we moved out of the space, after informing the attendant of moving out, I later got late notices for not paying for the next month. After sending an e-mail to the individual who sent me the notice with a copy of the ending of the storage rental, I got another notice regarding a lien on the items in storage (which was none). This time I called to complain and it was then taken care of. Also, at times, staff were away from the front desk for extended periods of time such that I could no longer wait.

My experience started off bad, as the staff member known as JJ, put his information in as emergency contact. I originally had a unit that was to small, I changed it the same day for a bigger unit. My movers notified me that same day that they had put some things in the smaller unit and at this time the office was closed. I wasn't able to gain access to the unit. I spoke with the "then manager" David he stated JJ could get me into the unit, since it had a lock and a note stating access was denied for none payment of rent, which David said the cleaning crew had put on. JJ stated he couldn't get me in because he had never seen the kind of lock and they didn't have a key. I continued to stop in and also call David and was told the unit had been rented and no one knew where my thing's were. I spoke to the off site representatives several times also and got no results. I spoke to the "new" manager Elgin regarding my thing's and no results. I also spoke with Elgin regarding a leaking pipe outside my unit that was to be checked on. When I began to move my thing's out I again inquired about my thing's and was told by the "new" manager Joe that I would have to file a police report. After moving my thing's out I called and was connected to an off site representative, and explained that there was damage to my couch from the pipe that I was attempting to try and use the move out online feature and wasn't able to, and I also sent a message from the site to the "now" manager Joe and got no response. She stated she would send a message also and I explained I had been trying to reach the office regarding the leaking and the damage, was told I would have to speak to the office and I explained I wasn't able to get through any time I called. The representative transferred me to customer care and I still never spoke with anyone. This has been my only option to express my concerns fully and it has been 5 day's since leaving the email for the manger and 4 day's since the off site representative sent her message. My overall experience was horrible after 16 months of storing my thing's and the continued staff turn over and no results regarding my concerns.

I was given a free month of storage for two units because they didn't have 1 unit big enough for what I needed it for. That was helpful and I was grateful. However, I found later that I didn't need the units so I called and cancelled them. I was assured that it was cancelled. I started receiving letters about owing the facility. I called several more times and also showed up in person twice and was assured that both units were cancelled by the manager. I still continue to receive calls. Ridiculous!

Very disappointed at the end. In October I asked that I be taken off of automatic pay. I paid for October and November. In December we emptied out the locker first thing in the morning and got home and found out that you charged the card for December. I am hoping that this can be corrected. Also. You have homeless people entering. Using facilities. And leaving their snack items laying around

The employees were very friendly and helpful. I had a reservation, it was not communicated to this location and they had to find me a new space, which was done quickly and effectively. I don't understand why the U-haul corporation has such a hard time with their reservations, if this location didn't have space available I would have been screwed. I had even more problems with my trailer rental. All employees are great, but I have great criticism for u-haul as a corporation.

It was short staffed and the wait time standing in line was too long. I stood in line almost an hour. I paid for a storage unit and got someone else's storage, then I had to return to get the correct storage unit. The 24 access was ok but no cards available to use. Now I got my storage unit corrected. I'm satisfied overall.

I tripped over a bike rack. Scratched my face and they had no first aid kit available. This was a very bad situation. For a class organization as this I thought this was not good. This should be available at all times as a safety tool. I BLAME the manager for this major mistake and it should be corrected at once .

I did not realize I still needed to check-in @ desk when picking-up my rental, or I would have arrived earlier as it was pretty busy. Once at counter things went pretty well, as we went through both trunk rental & storage rental contracts separately. Thaddeo(?) was my service rep & did a good job; he was patient to repeat some things for me as I am a little hard of hearing. After acquiring the truck & transferring some tools from my car, I had to return to office to arrange accessing storage unit to apply my disc lock (note: the only kind allowed), & Elton noticed my return to line & promptly asked me what I needed. He let know where to meet him, walked me to the unit, opening inspection, & applying my lock. I appreciated that quick help, so I could get on with my day. A pretty good experience & 1 month storage unit rental free with truck. Thanks Thaddeo & Elton!

Only moved things out because I could no longer pay for two storages and I would’ve preferred everything to be in the Uhaul storage facility but the other storage unit was jam packed and would’ve been more of a huge undertaking putting it all in the uhaul unit...pricing is better at Uhaul, hours are way better, access more convenient and staff always been kind and very helpful!!!!

The person working during my check-in did not know what they were doing. They had me pay for a lock before I got into my unit, even though there already was a lock in my unit when I arrived and I shouldnt have had to buy one. There is also a large pole running through my unit that makes storing things difficult and takes up quite a bit of space. I will be trying to find an alternate storage unit facility when places open up.

We completely cleaned out the storage on Saturday February 29, 2020 and requested a move-out receipt at the store counter. I was told they would email it to me by Sunday 3/1/20 and as of today I have not received it. I called them Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and can never get through to that location. The call gets forwarded to another Uhaul service center. The Uhaul service rep said she has emailed my storage location (1500 south 1st street, Milwaukee, WI 53204) but has not received a response either. I've been emailing customer service but they can't locate the account. This is very frustrating! I still need proof we moved out on Saturday 2/29/20 so that we're not charged for March.

The staff was friendly, but I wish that the location got back to me or gave me the ability to alter access window. I will refrain from making any final judgments until I have had more interactions.

Basically clean but could have used more sweeping in common areas and the share area was disregarded junk. Overall good and would recommend facility.

Rat droppings on all totes and boxes. The boxes I bought from Uhaul storage did not hold well at all. The mice also chewed into my boxes. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL STORAGE AGAIN!

Always had issues.When I moved my stuff outta my first unit in their "new" building it was infested with rat poop/stunk.Prior manager before the current manager Tim was horrible.Was always something.

There was a surprising amount of mouse feces in my unit when I moved out. Since I didn't store anything that would attract nice, I was a little concerned of the cleanliness. Otherwise, it was good.
