MONSERRATE V | Expérience généraleThe employees mistakenly double booked for the time that I reserved and the vehicle I needed. The two employees who were handling the situation were very rude and snarky as if I had inconvenienced them due to their own ineptitude. They proceeded to tell me I had to have the vehicle back 4 hours earlier so they can rent it off to the next customer. I had originally agreed to 7 hours. They then told me if I did not have the vehicle back by that time they would charge me and extra 150.00. Due to the original nature of my intended use for the vehicle I did not meet that deadline and was charged unjustly given that they made the mistake and made NO effort to rectify the situation. The staff clearly need more training. I am a frequent customer and appalled at the way I was treated. This should absolutely be an escalated matter if they make these mistakes and show no care often. They need to be re-trained on customer interactions. Absolutely appalling behavior and attitude.

HUGO VI was sent a text 3 days after I returned their truck, with a threat of fraud and theft. It took mutiple calls for them to search the lot and find the rented uhaul. Please do better.

MILDRED RI registered online I rejected the additional insurance I was charged anywas. The Gasoline reading was not correct. but I filled it past the marked reading. My total bill was higher that expected.

EUGENE E | Expérience généraleI was at this locations two days in a row. On day one, i was there to pick up a corporate rental. The employee helping was a hispanic man on his personal phone with some electric company trying to figure out something with their customer service. It was a personal call. He beckoned me over while on the phone and then tried to multi-task on the phone and helping me, which led to me standing there waiting for him to finish his conversation. Eventually, a female manager I believe came back in and helped me through my pickup. She was friendly and great. The second day, I went to purchase 60$ of boxes and tape. The same employee was there also on the phone with some electric company still trying to figure out his personal business with them. I stood in front of him for 5 minutes or so, until his coworkers came back in from doing something outside. One of them looked at me, then looked at the employee in the phone, rolled his eyes and motioned me over and rang me out quickly. I don't understand why this employee couldn't just go take a break and take this call?

STEPHANIE P | Premières impressionsI wanted to get a one way truck and drop off in Hartford, I was told I would have 100 miles with that option. Before I signed my paperwork I was told I would only have 35 miles with the truck which wouldn't work for me. The guy at the front desk (rob I think) had a horrible attitude when he had to fix the issue because I was misquoted. He ended up arguing (yelling) threatening me before I left. Horrible experience. Everyone else there was helpful but that one guy should be fired. Unprofessional.

JAMES MThe young man that took the trailer off told me that the trailer was not put on correctly and I could have killed someone or myself and children that is not a good thing and I drove from FL to CT with the trailer not being properly installed onto my car.
ISRAE'A CHad a reservation for 7am online check in, when I got there and checked in with the app it gave me an error. I had to call and they told me the location never set a truck up for me and had to wait till 9am when they opened. Unacceptable service

FARES AI was told the van I rented had 1/2 a tank but it actually had 1/4... when I returned it I filled it to 3/4... just so you know.

APRIL RThe service was quick and efficient. The equipment (5 X 8 trailer) was in good condition and worked just as expected. I had to (unfortunately) schedule and cancel twice before and so wanted to mention that the iOS app and reservation system worked well for me. I am very appreciative that I was able to cancel (twice) exusting reservations without penalty.

LUZ MThe price at the counter was not the same as when I reserved the truck. The reservation cost was $74 if I delivered it to a location in Danbury; however, when I got to the counter, the cost was actually $118!

RONALD NHow about reduce all those fees. If the rental is $20 why am I paying over $60 in fees? Insane. Other than that, the guys were kind and the van was brand new.

Everything was fine until I went to remove my items from the storage room because I was oblivious to the fact that your facility is infested with rodents. For the amount of money your customers paid you should have an exterminator on contract. There was mice droppings all over my storage room. On top of the boxes and underneath all over the floor. I had to step in it to get my stuff.Two and half dead mice on the floor. A half because one was missing a head. One of my boxes was eaten through. Once home I discovered nothing but mice droppings and a dead mouse in the box. I haven't gone through my other boxes yet but I cringe to think about what I will discover. It is disgusting. I had to throw things away because it is unsanitary. Your storage is unsanitary, disgusting and a health hazard. You are collecting people's money to but rat poison everywhere and that is not fixing the issue.

The employee who checked me in was friendly but didn't walk me to the unit or explain where it was. Very cumbersome to get my things in to the lower level. I would not recommend this facility and definitely wouldn't have rented here if I knew I wasn't on the street level.

We had a frozen pipe burst in our Apt. in December, we had exhausted our savings for Uhaul trucks, storage, hotels, etc. So, to be paying after we closed our transactions and moved our stuffs out of Uhaul storage is traumatic to this customer who is financially stressed already! And my other complaint was that is so infested with rats that my storage was completely full or rat feces and it was all over one of my rugs.

We had financial issues because I had heart surgery then my fiancé became very sick. Never once offered to waive any fees and I don't know any place that charges you a late fee more than once a month. You do it 2 or 3 times a month.
