Have the employees be more friendly the young lady that help tons me to park the van she wasn’t to pacific so I did my best and I guess I park wrong spot and she show her frustration and roll her eyes maybe feel very uncomfortable and u was only consumer there so it wasn’t like they were very busy so I the attitude was unnecessary

MEGAN BThe facility was well maintained and appeared to have a lot of inventory. However, the employees were not helpful. After I received instructions where to return the equipment and told that someone would help me remove the trailer, I drove to the drop off location. I waited for 10 minutes and no one came out. I had to remove the trailer from the hitch on my own without and lift assist equipment. When I returned to the office to check out, the person I spoke with was in her car having a smoke break. There were 4-5 employees inside talking. I doubt that the woman let those people know that I needed help. Because, as soon as one of the employees saw me, he immediately took care of the check-in process.
Chad NWhen we arrived to pickup at our scheduled time the trailer was sitting along a fence line with a flat tire. We noticed it and mentioned it to the representative and asked us to pull trailer over to garage and he put air in it. No pressure gauge just kicked it to test and said we are good to go. We got the trailer him to load and opened it up to find it dirty with paper, cardboard and a hanger in the corner, no big deal, we are loading in the same stuff. After we spent two hours loading, looked at the tires and the one didn't look right, so I got my pressure gauge and the one tag was flat had 20 psi, the other three were 40-50 psi! Found the sticker and saw they were supposed to be 65 psi! We filled them to the proper level and took a break for food. We checked them again and found the one tire was down to 50 and could hear it hissing. Luckily the shop was still open, so we called, they said bring it back and they would take care of it. They asked "us" to back the trailer into the bay door that was surrounded by other vehicles, we got it close and they changed the tire. which upon checking again at home 1,5 hrs later had 50 psi in it! No apologies or concern given. My daughter was pulling this from michigan to north carolina and had we not checked it over, she may not have made it.

JAMES KOn the shipping side it was mostly good except the lady couldn't process the initial payment over the phone cause the system was bugging out. Then my pod was supposed to be delivered 15mi away but was stuck at 50 causing my price to go up and me having to manually call in. They didn't recommend the much needed second pod. The people on the receiving end (Wisconsin) apparently had no idea what was going on. Despite calling me 5-6x and reconfirming the plans the second u box was not ready. The guy couldn't find it. It caused my movers to have to wait around an extra hour in between pods…

MAAN SI was given vague instructions on where my truck was located in the lot and sent to search the lot for it. After being charged $1,19 per mile for mileage, I was given a truck with not only the check engine light on but the tire pressure light on as well. The driver seat was mangled and the driver side door doesn't close all of the way unless you throw your shoulder out slamming the damn thing. I paid $122 for less than three hours with a trash truck and crap customer service after working a job all day where I bend over backwards for my clients. If you only knew why I was there getting a truck to move what I was moving, your staff would've acted with a lot more empathy. This was a real failure. Take better care of your vehicles and invest in staff training.

RYAN VI arrived close to closing time but the to gentleman work was acomadating and recommend a better trailer than I better trailer than I wanted. They were right. what they recommend was just what I needed. ask the experts....Thanks guys

James WThe service was great1 The young man that helped me was awesome!! I was pressed for time, so I did not stop and let the workers know, but the truck I had, had been in an accidents, a smoker had been in the truck ( I am asthmatic) so that was how I knew that it was smoke involved. The in tow and engine lights stayed d on, I had NEVER seen a truck look like that before. :-0 Overall, I will be back.
CLARISSA NUnit was not ready as promised. The u-box's were to be delivered to unit 113 at 4:00am and it is now 8:15 and they are still telling me it will be another hour. I have movers here that are ready and I am paying for them to just wait around. I am very unhappy with your service as Terrance promised that he would take care of everything. I originally asked for McKayla and he said he guaranteed that I would not have a problem. I called to confirm this twice. I feel that I should receive some type of compensation. Please provide this message to your management as I will follow up. Thanks

There was a layer of some type of dust, like limestone. The trailer should have been power washed but overwise everything went well.

I have several storage units there and I am getting EVERYTHING OUT and MOVING

Catalina LHorrible experience had a reservation done and they made me a new contract time of pick-up (which cause confusion) got charge multiple times. than I got called to go back to the store (which also caused me time, millage and gas) because they gave me the truck under someone else is name. After all that was settled they tried to say I didn't fill the gas tank to where it needed to be when before I returned it I stop at the speedway next to the store so got charged for that also than I got a text that the truck was not returned on time when I waited in line for over 30 minutes I advice to review the cameras because I returned it on time. this place has just caused me money and headaches everything was done right but the staff did not do its job. Can someone please look into this

Unloading station at the front left corner of the building does not support the height for the 26' super mover. This should be flagged in some way so that people who are using 26' trucks know this and can try and get preference for units closer to the center front doors or back right units.

And the deadline for the environment controlled inside storage units is really inconvenient. You should be able to get to your storage unit at any time. But at 10 o'clock and you know you might have to get to your storage unit after 10 o'clock. And it just becomes an issbecause the building. Alarm is set at 10 o'clock so I was like man. This is bad. So I'll let internet. I have no other complaints.

Will say, seems to be better when we closed the storage from when we opened it. I also admit, it could just be that I'm old and recall better general service overall when I used to work in retail. If anyone reads and wants details, good and bad I'm happy to share more.

I appreciated we were able to rent a truck (twice) last minute and rent a unit. My only suggestion is to get more furniture dollies. We took the last one and I heard someone come behind us who couldn't get one because you were out. Your location also did not have blankets for rent. I understand people steal them but they should be charged and the items replaced. Overall, you run a great operation!

The other three staff were not willing to give any kind of assistance. I made two other purchases the guy that helped with the second item was watching tiktok videos on his phone though the whole transaction he never really looked up. We decided to get boxes for dishes none of the three worker was willing to come out from behind counter to help instead they stood in a crowd watching videos on the guys phone. My fiance had demand help from one the girls that upset her she had a attitude the time when helping us. We tried to get information on where the alarm was located they gave vague directions. The whole time we were there three of the staff members were very unprofessional. The girl that rented us the unit was the only member willing to give any help. I will not recommend this business to anyone. I have used this business for years I didn't know your customer service had declined to this point.

The smell from plumbing problems is unbearable. Way overpriced. Totally understaffed. Very unprofessional staff. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. I also asked the hours for storage, we had a flood and needed to make sure we could move everything in, they said 24 hours with my code. We did quite a few loads but came with another after 11 and could not access.

They took care of me and my needs were met. They didn't try to put me in anything I didn't want or need. And I was in and out and with the power being out all over they ( staff. Bonnie and Ann) made it work with the difficulty hey had to deal with and made no complaints on the situation.. The best price and by far the best service.

JOhn R | Expérience généraleThe local guys were fine outside of missing a hole in the gas tank of a 20 foot trailer that we had already loaded so it had to be unloaded by a group that U-Haul provided which destroyed most of our furniture. They loaded a 27 foot truck in three hours. They just threw our stuff on there which we didn't know until we unloaded it in Michigan And the gas mileage was terrible. Truck ran like crap. Bounced me like crazy! I've used U-Haul for years and never had this bad experience. The Oklahoma manager, Nathan French was outstanding, but he could only do so much.

We ate nit "dumping trash" type of people and were put off by being accused of that when a staff member told us that we could leave usable furniture in the garage because "other customers will usually take it and sometimes the staff will as well" only to receive a phone call saying we would be fined for "dumping". Train your employees to avoid this in the future.

I informed them I was disabled and my husband was out of town working. I informed them that I was unable to come and get the suitcases due to my disability. But, that my husband would when he returned. They said they would hold them for us. My husband also talked to them via phone while he was out of town as I had informed him of the situation. They informed him also that they would hold the suitcases for us. When he returned and went to uhaul to pick up the suitcases they were not there he was told. No one knew what happened to them. Everyone was playing dumb. Everyone we spoke too was unconcerned and didn't have any explanation for our missing suitcases. As the content in the suitcases were many brand new clothing items and shoes I know the suitcases disappeared because of this fact. Also in the suitcases were very important documents. I am still highly upset about how our suitcases just disappeared after we were assured by staff at the uhaul facility that they would be there for us to pick up when my husband returned. I would not recommend uhaul to any one because they are untrustworthy and do not care about the safety of individuals personal belongings. Nor do they stand by and honor their word.

aslynn r | Expérience généraleI have never been so disappointed and upset with the unprofessionalism that they displayed in my life! 1st I called to setup the reservation, have the screenshot on my phone of the times and at the end of our conversation, with your customer service rep. She tells me Uhaul systems were down and she couldn't take my credit card payment. She instructed me that I needed to go into the office and pay cash. I did exactly as I was instructed to do and since I had to pay cash (NOT by my choice but do to Uhaul) I had to pay an extra $100 deposit.. which I was told I would get right back! I was picking up in Waterford location and dropping off in Rochester which is only about 15-20 if that. I returned the truck at 6:30 was at their location figuring out the storage unit (since the systems were down the night before it didn't add my storage unit properly) and the truck never left that location again after that. I finished unloading the truck and dropped the keys in the drop box as the gentleman at the counter told me to. I went back the next morning to get my $100 deposit back and they added on a whole bunch of extra fees to where I couldn't get my deposit back at all. They added an extra day on plus an overnight night fee. Just enough to not give me anything back! To me that is highway robbery! You can review the footage and see when the truck hit there lot and never left again! There was no overnight or use of the next day at all. My paperwork says I returned the truck the next day at 8:01 a.m FALSE, I returned the truck at 6:30 the night before and had until 6:45 as my paperwork stated. I even made sure to go across the street to the Speedway and add gas, even though I barely used any, but I didn't want that to be an issue! The whole point, they would have never had any of my money to play with if it wasn't for Uhaul's system being down and I feel they took full advantage of that and added all these obscene charges to my account just to not return my deposit that I was rightfully owed. I have tried to call Uhaul numerous times just to get put on hold and then they answer and hang up! I have never had a worse experience and felt so used and taken advantage of in my life! I would never trust that location or uhaul to handle business in the upmost manner!!!

Two things that I noticed during my leading time that I felt could have made things even easier: expand your office hours to 6:00 pm, since not everyone has the ability to be there before 5. And somehow have a dedicated "clear path" to the loading dock bay doors. There were always so many U-Haul trucks parked rather haphazardly around the facility, I had to drive "dodge ball" style to get to the bay doors. Overall, a great facility! Merci.

Each rep that I dealt with had no idea what simple manners are, some were down right rude to customers, mumbling, making jesters, political incorrect statements to people, etc. When trying to call this location you can be on hold for hours. when in location the phone rang until it went to voice mail, with people in the store doing nothing. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Please consider, better explaining in writing (email, pdf, webpage, not only the video): 1) disarming and arming your unit 2) access hours 3) what to do if an alarm is set off (accidentally or by someone else) 4) common obstacles - At this particular location, RV loading can make it difficult to view proper signage and traffic markings. This also makes it more difficult to find the drive up garage for loading. Great units! last comment - please consider 24/7 or 24/5 access. Or up until midnight during the week.

He's extremely rude and threatened to fight me as he walked away to the back room. Secondly the "new" girl with blue smurf hair is obviously to anything she's doing. Has no clue what to do or how to be helpful. If she was "new" why is she being left alone with little to no training whatsoever. Maybe it's not your employees because horrible staff reflect how they're managed and clearly this staff has ZERO training or customer service skills. The managers first name is Zach. It's a Monday and your "manager" is nowhere to be found? Ridiculous.. I paid for storage here but believe me I will be looking to move as soon as I find another storage unit. Will never use uhaul again and suggest you do the same. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

She asked me for my credit card to hold 2 units and i explained just getting information and she abruptly wanted off the phone, she also had rude behavior. I would have thought you would be polite and want to answer customers question and help in any way possible. Went to facility in person to hold the 2 units. No problem. Gave credit card to hold the units. Called in again 4 days prior to moving company delivery to verify units were available and apparently again dealing with call center, was told i didnt have 2 units only 1. The lady said there was nothing she could do for me and asked if she should look at different location. Told her no that doesnt help me at all. I would have to pay the moving company the time and materials to go to different area. She put me on the phone with she said was her manager, found out he wasnt a manager, he said nothing he could do and when holding units with credit card doesnt mean they actually hold it. What does that mean right? He offered me 2 indoor units 5X10 for $98. per unit with no discount. Thats was $100 approx. more than outdoor 10X10. Which I had on hold and somehow lost. Incredible. Then manager said he would hold those 2-5X10 units no problem without coming to store he had plenty of them. He said i wouldnt loose them. Then what happened to my 10X10 outdoor unit. I was extremely upset with no option at this point due to giving moving company address to facility and would have to pay to change. Went to facility(U-Haul) after work and spoke with CALEB! He checked my reservation and stated the units i put on hold were still there on reservation. 2 units like i requested initially and we finalized paperwork so I wouldnt lose units. CALEB was extremely helpful. Maybe he should run call center and save CUSTOMERS alot less stress and headache.I know three people should go somewhere else if they dont want to deal with customers or help anyway they can. Just saying!

My unit was paid up to date, as it always was, so this confused me. I asked multiple employees and no one had a clue why it was there and told me to come back tomorrow. I made another hour long commute and again no answers but this time they had the spare key to the mystery key and told me it was in the managers office whom did not even attempt to reach out. My time, gas and energy was wasted because someone slapped a random lock on my unit without my knowledge or consent. Staff was not helpful with this situation at all

My negative experience was returning the 19' truck I rented the first 4 days. I only saw this rental agent one time - during truck check in and he was really nasty when i asked to extend the rental one more day. I would describe his demeanor as abusive. I kept my cool and worked around the "issues" this fella had, but it left me feeling I was mistreated and had not been fairly billed. To this day I feel I was overly charged and had been 'tricked' into excessive truck rental fees. When I left I hired local movers. It was expensive, but I didnt want to have to repeat the U-Haul truck rental move in experience. The UHaul truck rental fees billed to my credit card "were shady". ANY additional fees should be upfront and texted/emailed to the customer upon the billing occuring.

Number one it was my first time there so how would I have known. He just kept repeating himself and saying for future reference. I was already unloaded I wasn't going to load my stuff back in the car to do it the way he wanted me to. He made my move in experience terrible. He called my phone and then said the same thing in person like seriously leave me alone. He kept saying it like I was stupid. He wasn't trying to be helpful he was upset I didn't use the entrance closer to my unit. I told him it was my first time there and he just kept saying for future reference, which by the way is rude. Other than that experience with that UHaul employee everything else was fine except if it's so important to use the entrance closer to your unit then UHaul should put those specific instructions in the initial move in email.

When I walked in there were 3 people ahead of me in line, 3 people sitting down that had already been helped and waiting on something before they could leave, and even with a reservation I still had to wait almost 20 mins to be helped. While standing waiting about 5 people walked in after me. It's a small store and people were just standing everywhere. It just doesn't seem like enough staff are on site to service the number of customers coming through. Otherwise the person who helped me individually was great! Very friendly and helpful.

When I tried to call and ask if I would be getting any of that money back, having only used the unit five days of that month, I could never get anyone to answer the phone. I tried four times. So I drove over there, and asked the staff member on duty. There was no smile, nothing welcoming at all, just a flat, "No we don't prorate." That was it. Unfriendly AND unfair.
