My I never moved into the storage I picked up my truck and dowagiac Michigan I have applied for a 15 inch the representative called me and told me they didn't have no 15-in so she gave me a 10 inch then when I got there the man had the 15 inch so he must have messed up my storage it was too small

The wait to get the vehicle took a very long time and the vehicle was in need of some engine work as it ran very sluggish and we were worried it would break down on our short trip. Thank God it didn't.

The two females working yesterday around 4pm did amazing! There were a few rude customers waiting in line who obviously don't know what it's like to be short staffed giving snarky comments. Keep up the great work to the two girls! I know it sucks being short staffed. Most people would've walked out of a job, especially with how the customers were treating these two girls.

Under staffed. Could not answer my questions because he has "never" been in the storage area. Didn't have time to show me unit. Did not explain the 2 swipe system or the actual hours. Did not explain the closing of double doors, etc. will ost likely have to rent a different unit and based on experience may go elsewhere. Mgr did return emergency call but it was too late.

The truck was given to me with 7/8 tank of gas and when I got home and opened the back of the truck, there was still broken furniture left in the back of the that I had to remove and put in my personal garbage. It was already a tight timeline and there's no excuse for this!

We were thrilled to have gotten a brand new truck for our rental. It was beautiful and so nice to put the household items in such a clean truck. Zack and Gabby were great to work with when we needed an extension on our time. Drop off was easy and my billing accurate.

I was waiting a half-hour for my reservation. The truck sounded like it was going to fall apart. There was a bag of blankets that were ripped open before I received the truck! Bringing the truck back was surprisingly easy, however.

Overall VERY happy with this location! I dropped the trailer on 9/12 almost at close and let the agent know about the bald tires and a small leak as I had a few wet items when I unpacked... :(. He let me know he would tag and pull it from service immediately to get new tires. Also alerted him that the light wiring connection could not be pushed all the way in as it would short out the lights and that the tires were so overinflated that I had to stop and let some of the air out to stop it from bouncing all the way. He apologized for the issues profusely and assured me that was not up to UHaul standards. Said the proper protocol would have been to switch out my trailer for one that would have met standards and hoped that I would consider using them again in the future. Very helpful, kind and caring! Their customer service for that one interaction will make me use them again!

No one answers the local phone line, it always just diverts to the national hotline which always has a 10-15 minute wait (I called at least 5 different times). When I came to pick up the truck, I wandered around inside the building for five minutes before anyone came in and helped me. When I returned the truck, the Uhaul app kept crashing so I wasn't able to complete the process online and just had to lock the doors and drop the key without formally checking out.

I arrived on time to pick up my vehicle, I was third in line and waited over 30 minutes just to be seen. My checkout process took less than five minutes. This location is very understaffed. A gentlemen came in for a interview and was told to return Monday because there was no body to interview him.

During checkout, the service agent informed me of a discount I would receive for my truck rental, and the cost she showed me on her display came to approximately $42 for the four hours I would have the truck. The problem occurred when the credit card transaction started and the price jumped to $53. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the service agent at the another register states that the actual cost of $42 would be reflected on the final bill. That wasn't the case though. Now, the truck I rented turned out to be far too small so I had to take the trip twice to the storage unit, but the final bill seemed to include the $53 with the extra miles on top. This cost difference is fairly trivial and not generally worth my time to write about, but I very much do not like being cheated, or charge any more than promised, so I decided to share in this review.

They Never have the equipment I reserved, yet often times I still end up getting charged for it. I never get my final receipt emailed to me. That causes issues because I am renting the trucks for work and dont have the receipt I need to turn in to accounting. I am still waiting for an emailed receipt for my Sept 7th rental.

The lock to the key box at this particular location didn't open with the code provided online or the one aquired through customer service. (It's a 4 digit lock but the codes i got was 3 digits)

My original reservation was for a different location much closer to home. 30 minutes before I was to pick up the trailer the reservation was moved to this location. While I appreciate finding a trailer so I wasn't stuck without one, I'd prefer the original reservation be accurate so I could have planned the timing better for the further location.

Most employees at your location are professionals. However, no customer should have to listen to "f-ing" language from an employee, especially while waiting to be served, even if the conversation is between employees. My wife shouldn't have to hear this kind of stuff. I think a simple discussion about what it is to be a professional between management and the employee (has wild colored hair) would correct the situation. Overall, I am pleased every time I do business with you at this location.

I requested a pick up in Utica Michigan. When I arrived there they told me there was no trailer available and I had to drive all the way to Waterford which was 45 minutes away. No one told me over the phone that I had to drive to Waterford, and the Utica staff was very rude and did not seem to want to help. I should have at least been warned that there was no trailer available. I was very disappointed after making this booking weeks in advance and left completely blindsided right before I move.

To start no one was in the building when I came in I looked around saw no one waited for 5 min until someone came in ( you can check your camera's). The person started to process my truck rental when another customer came in after a few minutes another employee came in and started processing him. The person helping me was almost done when the other employee took the keys from right in front of her ,she said “ What the Fu*k “ she then had to get up get another set of keys and start again. The customer that came in 5 min after me was out 5 min before me. When I got to the truck the odometer was already 1 mile more than written on contract . Truck bed was filthy . Fuel was at a quarter of a tank not convenient for a long trip or for return without overfilling ( other u hauls keep tanks full )

Very poor customer service. I, and everyone else in the lobby had to wait several minutes as we were ignored by the staff when we came in. When I was finally seen, the guy, who appeared to be the owner based on his name tag, attempted to sneak and add extra things to the bill that I explicitly told him I did not want. There are enough U-Haul locations that this one can and should be avoided.

Waited over a hour in line and had a reservation. The first truck was filthy and had a check engine oil light. Had to wait another 45 mins another truck. Got truck home to load over 2 hours later. Had truck most full and found out it was leaking gas. Had to unload and spend a hour on phone to get truck towed. At this point I have help there waiting o. Me and no truck. The uhaul rep could not even help me find a nother truck. It one off the worst experiences I've had for customer service.

You by far the worst staff any establishment has. First off your "hitch" guy Tremone is nothing but trouble. He's extremely rude and threatened to fight me as he walked away to the back room. Secondly the "new" girl with blue smurf hair is obviously to anything she's doing. Has no clue what to do or how to be helpful. If she was "new" why is she being left alone with little to no training whatsoever. Maybe it's not your employees because horrible staff reflect how they're managed and clearly this staff has ZERO training or customer service skills. The managers first name is Zach. It's a Monday and your "manager" is nowhere to be found? Ridiculous.. I paid for storage here but believe me I will be looking to move as soon as I find another storage unit. Will never use uhaul again and suggest you do the same. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

The new paved and covered outside storage area for RV's & Boats is wonderful. Easy access, remote control entry (loved this....no code) and 2 hours a day electric included to keep your batteries charged. The other nice thing about this storage is NO rodents to eat your wiring because it is paved. Thank you for a great storage experience.

Callled number which i guess was call center to find out about storage units available and pricing. Lady spoke with acted like i was wasting her time. She asked me for my credit card to hold 2 units and i explained just getting information and she abruptly wanted off the phone, she also had rude behavior. I would have thought you would be polite and want to answer customers question and help in any way possible. Went to facility in person to hold the 2 units. No problem. Gave credit card to hold the units. Called in again 4 days prior to moving company delivery to verify units were available and apparently again dealing with call center, was told i didnt have 2 units only 1. The lady said there was nothing she could do for me and asked if she should look at different location. Told her no that doesnt help me at all. I would have to pay the moving company the time and materials to go to different area. She put me on the phone with she said was her manager, found out he wasnt a manager, he said nothing he could do and when holding units with credit card doesnt mean they actually hold it. What does that mean right? He offered me 2 indoor units 5X10 for $98. per unit with no discount. Thats was $100 approx. more than outdoor 10X10. Which I had on hold and somehow lost. Incredible. Then manager said he would hold those 2-5X10 units no problem without coming to store he had plenty of them. He said i wouldnt loose them. Then what happened to my 10X10 outdoor unit. I was extremely upset with no option at this point due to giving moving company address to facility and would have to pay to change. Went to facility(U-Haul) after work and spoke with CALEB! He checked my reservation and stated the units i put on hold were still there on reservation. 2 units like i requested initially and we finalized paperwork so I wouldnt lose units. CALEB was extremely helpful. Maybe he should run call center and save CUSTOMERS alot less stress and headache.I know three people should go somewhere else if they dont want to deal with customers or help anyway they can. Just saying!

The only thing I have a complaint about is when I drove my hour commute to this location in order to retrieve items only to find an extra lock had been placed on my unit. My unit was paid up to date, as it always was, so this confused me. I asked multiple employees and no one had a clue why it was there and told me to come back tomorrow. I made another hour long commute and again no answers but this time they had the spare key to the mystery key and told me it was in the managers office whom did not even attempt to reach out. My time, gas and energy was wasted because someone slapped a random lock on my unit without my knowledge or consent. Staff was not helpful with this situation at all

Constant calling asking if I'm still using it was annoying. I paid for if. If I'm not, its still mine. Don't call. Should be 24 hour access. Then raising rates?? Just because rich people want to use it. Im paying half now

Everything was great. Only complaint is they never have the supplies the advertise in stock online and they are always busy and understaffed. Once you get set with truck and storage it's smooth sailing and most can be done online

I would not recommend this location because you could not call them. Calls went to a call center, they had no idea on any questions asked. I physically had to drive to this location to get service and my questions asked

Better fluidity in communication between facility and Uhaul regarding what services are in the contract. Unaware I had contracted not only for the truck but also for a unit and moving personnel. No contact info was ever given from the website for the movers and they never showed nor did I have a way to contact them. Was not aware that there were dollies at the facility but was happy to see and use them after not having the promised help at the house.

My 4 month storage experience was positive. I would recommend the facility to others. Ann and Bonnie seemed were always around and were knowledgable and professional. My negative experience was returning the 19' truck I rented the first 4 days. I only saw this rental agent one time - during truck check in and he was really nasty when i asked to extend the rental one more day. I would describe his demeanor as abusive. I kept my cool and worked around the "issues" this fella had, but it left me feeling I was mistreated and had not been fairly billed. To this day I feel I was overly charged and had been 'tricked' into excessive truck rental fees. When I left I hired local movers. It was expensive, but I didnt want to have to repeat the U-Haul truck rental move in experience. The UHaul truck rental fees billed to my credit card "were shady". ANY additional fees should be upfront and texted/emailed to the customer upon the billing occuring.

It would have been better however. I had to deal with a UHaul employee that wasn't happy with me because I apparently wasn't using the easiest entrance to unload. Number one it was my first time there so how would I have known. He just kept repeating himself and saying for future reference. I was already unloaded I wasn't going to load my stuff back in the car to do it the way he wanted me to. He made my move in experience terrible. He called my phone and then said the same thing in person like seriously leave me alone. He kept saying it like I was stupid. He wasn't trying to be helpful he was upset I didn't use the entrance closer to my unit. I told him it was my first time there and he just kept saying for future reference, which by the way is rude. Other than that experience with that UHaul employee everything else was fine except if it's so important to use the entrance closer to your unit then UHaul should put those specific instructions in the initial move in email.

Could not find the unit/did not help finding the unit when talking to one of the younger representatives. Walked around the property for 30 minutes in 90 degree heat and eventually found it. The unit was already rented out and he had to wait until they found another unit (same employee).

Anne was always there to answer all of my questions with a willingness to assist me. You can tell that she really likes her job & not just there for a paycheck. I appreciate all of the staff at this location. I've been to other locations, and NO Thanks. I will continue to rent from the Elizabeth Lk. Stores as I have for so many years in the past.

Only issue is with the drive in bay doors for Self-storage facility. The owner, Ann Sanchez did explain it was a known issue that is being addressed.

Everything went well except the closing of the account. IT was not closed after the access card was handed in. So I got charged multiple times and had to visit the facility to close the account. Calling the facility went to permanent hold and did not help Thanks for everything.

They let someone cut off my lock and replaced it with their lock and that person proceeded to take my personal items out of the storage unit. Fortunately I found this out relatively soon after it happened and it was rectified but other than "sorry " I was offered no other compensation off my storage fees...nothing. I felt very violated. You are lucky I am a nice person and didn't involve the police or file a complaint.
