sandy pI rented a car transport to drive from fort drum to Austin Texas and I made it unscathed lol! Chase from this location was absolutely amazing and helpful! I had so many questions and he patiently answered all of them and even gave me tips and pointers to be safe. I will point out that while he was connecting the trailer to my vehicle, another employee was harping on him about something saying "if you think you have problems now, it's going to be a bigger problem..." Something along those lines and kept on harping on Chase as if trying to get a reaction . I DID NOT appreciate this being that Chase was in the process of connecting the trailer trying to insure it's safety and was properly connected. I traveled with my 10 year old and 35 week pregnant cousin the whole way and if anything were to have happened I for sure would have blamed him for distracting the connection process. Chase however handled the interaction professionally and patiently. I commend him for that and thank him for not losing focus. Perhaps maybe elevating that other employee in customer service etiquette and keeping whatever issues between stores or employees private. Your a team and belittling another employee while trying to insure a customers safety isn't appropriate. I don't recall his name but I'm sure Chase knows who I'm talking about after this review. Thank you Chase! You are excellent and I greatly appreciate you making our safety a priority!
OLIVIA CTransmission check need. For take off drive position. In reverse In Drive - right side mechanism sound. For the rental over night next day return. I Believe should be later ex. 7 pm. The after mileage should go up to 1$.The heck in. Male clerk were at best professional. Thank You U Haul. Brenda Craighead.

RYAN M1st appointment had to reschedule, hitch installer called in. 2nd appointment couldn't get exhaust off. Refer to a Mavis to take off exhaust and install the hitch. 3rd appointment showed up at Mavis couldn't install the hitch because they do not do the wiring which uhaul never told me that where is that. Requested my money back and will go elsewhere.

Sylvia WThe lady wearing an owner shirt didn't bother telling us before renting the uhaul for an extended time that the uhaul had a tire indicator problem. The sensor went off frequently, and made us check the psi often to make sure there was nothing wrong. The tech that checked us back in let us know that it was because it was the spare on, so the indicator wasn't functioning. So, the van was clean, and technically maintained, but no one bothered to let us know

We found another unit that is the same size for half the price at a different location that is closer to our home. Otherwise, UHaul storage is good!
Robert & | Expérience généraleI tried renting a trailer and storage unit at the Watertown uhaul on Washington street at 7 17am Monday August 7th. I intially conducted my transaction with the GM of the facility. After purchasing a tow hitch for my truck a bearded gentlemen aided with the trailer hookup, after doing the pre inspection on my truck and their trailer. The rear passenger traiker light wouldnt work. After he tested my trailer connector and checking fuses. It was determined that my wiring was faulty and because the trailer lights wouldnt operate properly i was not able to rent due to saftey. So i rented a 15ft box truck full price and got a refund on the trailer. Rented a storage unit(no free month they are advertising). I left their truck on the lot and I took the my truck to the mechanic, picked up my wife,and had the same wiring tested. Our mechanic determined that my wiring was properly functioning. So i arrived back around 8:09am at the facility and had informed the GM that my truck wiring was fine and brought up the trailer, i was told because he didnt want to go through another refund and rent me out a trailer which started out at 14,95 that he didnt want to tie up anymore money. Which isnt his place to spend my money. I ended up paying 60 dollars for the truck for 22 hrs. I recently stepped down as the ASM of Piggly Wiggly down the road from the facility and have rented trucks from there before. I feel like not offering something for the hassle and obvious lack of empathy for the confusion their employee started and having a Store Leader tell you they dont want do something and then offer no other solution(s). I'm gonna point out that their sign out front states that they are "under new managment". Management for the WIN!

The greed is too much. We're all just trying to survive in this economy. But I will NOT be not ripped off by any company/business just because you can.

We had a trailer full of belongings for that unit and had no where to store them! Very disappointed! Staff offered to get us a unit further away! I suggest to your company that units are checked before renting them out by physically going and looking at them, not depending on a computer!
Tracy G | Premières impressionsIt's a small population who needs a storage facility for 24 hours or less. I was that population. I was urgently leaving a dangerous situation. I understand that I shouldn't get a full refund but half or a partial refund would have really helped. I had to also pay $2 150 for moving my clothes to another state, via moving company and for a flight home. I was over 1 000 miles away from home. You can show that you support women who are strong enough to leave a violent situation with a man by at least meeting us hallway. That would be a nice way to encourage women who make the choice to leave a violent man. Many women are in dangerous situations with men who won't allow them to leave or make it very difficult for them to leave. Many die in making the choice to leave. My boyfriend was screaming at me and my movers while on your property, while in full Army fatigue..He tried to scare and intimidate us all. Your staff was kind and friendly through it all. He left me on the property and they told me that I was fine to stay as long as I needed, until close. I was calling a Lyft but my boyfriend ultimately came back. I appreciate you all for the quick and professional service..thank you for setting up my unit so quickly. Your staff deserves a raise. They perfectly represented the Uhual brand. I've been a customer for many years in several different states.

There are many holes in this unit which means the mice will have a fun time! I have too much time and $ invested in the products I have made for my business, to let it get all destroyed. I will however use them for a van or truck rental as needed. I do understand that the units are older, but I just can't take the chance. Merci.

I was always offered help when faced with financial inconveniences, and the service I was provided was nothing short of excellent the entire stay of my rental. We ended up having to rent a tiny space to store our belongings, of which only half fit- the other half of our stuff is at a neighbors garage. Now, we must press on to Ohio with only what we can carry in our two SUV's, including our 2 small children with carseats. This has cost us so much. So much money. So much stress. So much time to struggle and try to find a solution. We simply cannot afford $2 500 for a Penske truck. This is just poor etiquette. Don't tell someone you have a truck for them to move in if you indeed do not have a truck. Appearantly, this has happened to other people quite often. Fix it.

We had driven 3 hrs to empty the locker asked staff to help us thought it was the lock it wasn't. After waiting over an hour finally an outside person cut the lock off. This unit has no seals or caulk on the end and all the cattail fluff ended up inside along with many spiders dead and live. Lots of things we would have taken were garbage. Not good customer service.

We were never notified, our unit was left without a lock for months before we returned several months later to find our lock missing and the shavings of where it was cut on the floor. Because this was one of several units at this facility, we are not aware at this time if anything was taken. I do believe uhaul had a responsibility to contact us. We purchased all four locks on our units from them. They really should have replaced the cut one. Overall our experience with this uhaul was very good and we would rent equipment and storage from them again 5182312662
