I waited in line for almost an hour to check in and get my truck. There should be a better way to check in if you have an existing reservation. Then I was give a return time minus the hour I was in line...ridiculous!!!!!

I'm not sure why a customer even bothers to make a reservation for certain equipment if it won't be available the day of the pick up. I had to look up and call another location (Google is an amazing thing) while standing at the check in desk, to see if I would be able to get the equipment I needed that day because the staff at the location I was at couldn't figure out how to find the other location's phone number. Fortunately, someone at the last second returned the equipment I needed and I didn't have to drive miles out of my way to go get the dolly I needed. I've worked in retail before and the customer service during this experience was very lacking. All locations should have the phone numbers on hand of the other Uhaul locations, but pay attention to your reservation system and prep trucks ahead of time so that you have it ready for the customers. The check in and check out system is equally frustrating. And everything that seemed to take too long (getting my receipt, getting the truck, etc) was always blamed on something else, it apparently wasn't the fault of the slow moving staff or their ineptitude to perform their jobs.

Everything went great. Walked in got the keys and was on the road in less then ten minutes. Brought it back someone was there to take care of me within seconds. He checked me out and again gone in less then 10 minutes.

I reserved a 20" trugk @ 924 S 108st on 9/6 to be picked up there on 9/15. A day later I noticed a truck @ Marathon gas station @ 5511 S 108st. I stopped there and a u-hall representative helped the clerk transfer our reservation to that station which would save me at least 8 miles each way. I stopped there on 9/14 to make sure our truck would be there the next day. On 9/15 I stopped to pick up the truck and they had no record of our reservation. We then went to 925 S 108 St and was able to get a truck. This put us 2 hours behind with our move and cost me at least 16 extra miles rental plus gas. I would like some reimbursement for my trouble. I had a 9am reservation. The staff did not arrive until 930 and I did not get my rental until 10am. What I reserved was not available. I am very unhappy with my experience and the customer service I received.

Waiting in line for anything is an hour ordeal. Very very unorganized. It took 5 months of me giving them my information to get autopay to actually work simply because nobody knew how to do it correct
