Wipers were old and had to be changed before leaving and this was caught by us and not the dealer. Also, miscommunication about the moving pads....In was led to believe there would be some included in the package we got but there was not and no one did a walk through of the truck with us before taking off (no instructions or damage check prior to leaving off lot). The online check in was also difficult to naviagate.

Way under staffed on pick up, took well over 30 minutes from the time I got in line, #5, to the time of walking out. The young man hands me the paper with a bunch of highlighted things and sends me on my way without taking the time to check the vehicle with me. I also requested that they NOT run my CC upon returning the truck and what happens, they charge it. After getting someone from the back to stop swearing and talking of their vaping adventures a Nick comes out to refund my CC and accept my cash. There was some confusing between both young as to what to do about their screw up, even suggesting to me to accept the charge and be on my way. I said absolutely not. They then suggested i come tomorrow and talk to Jose who could help me. I said no. I then suggested, refund my card, I'll pay the cash and YOU settle it with Jose. That they did. In the middle of all of this there are no lights on, workers with no sense or urgency to help people or get them on their way and another Uhaul employee, a female driving a semi carrying storage units walks in and starts making more demands of the workers who then in return, turn to me and start bashing her about the things she does when she comes into their store, she's not their manager, she wanted to move units with a pallet jack, she do it herself, etc. I will never rent from that location again and quite honestly UHaul as a whole.

Not give someone 2 hours to move i called in to notify i would not make reservation and clerk notified that would br fine and could reschedule later was charge double for everything because i didnt have the truck back in 2 hours truck was also very dirty when placing items in truck they were getting dirty and i had to purchase special cleaner the dolly was also very unstable and i drop items multiple time i think a wheel or something was loose also i was over charged for gas i on drove 25 miles and gas was barely used however i was charged 26 or something for gas service desk very rude and unwilling to help would like to be reimbursed if possible for overages and nick need to learn how to listen instead of smoking wih buddies he messed up ny entire order time etc

I called to rent a trailer and waited 40 minutes to pick it up. They were terribly understaffed. When a time is given to pick something up I expect it to be ready when I get there. Waiting so long almost made me miss what I was picking up. Not a very happy customer.

I rented a cargovan, which was perfect for what I was doing. When I opened the back door to start loading items I saw that it was very dirty. It looked like someone had moved a particle board piece of furniture and it broke. I needed to sweep it out and vacuum it before I loaded my items as I did not want them to get ruined from the dirt and dust left from the last user of the van.

We ended up waiting over an hour in line while 1 person was working. As soon as the next employee got to the register, he started calling the customers who were waiting in line a bunch of assholes. These people were standing in line for over an hour because of how short staffed Uhaul was. I will never use this place ever again. Horrible customer service.

Store was opened late, only one employee showed up and was working. It took an hour to get the truck and I was near the front of the line. Later on when the truck was returned early, two more employees were there fighting over who had to work, swearing and taking their time saying they were two hours late and that was not a big deal. Truck was pretty beat up, but did the job. Not my typical experience from U-Haul, but again, got the job done.

None of the employees at this location knew enough about U-boxes for this process to work smoothly. A few issues that I experienced are explained below: 1. The containers weren’t ready to be loaded on the day that I reserved them for and there was no certified fork lift operator to get them out for me, assuming they were in the building. 2. They tried to ship my containers empty a few days early. If I wasn’t coincidentally there, I am pretty confident they would’ve shipped with nothing in them. 3. This is more on the corporate side, but I tried to change my reservation from pick up from location to home delivery at the destination, but despite several phone calls and follow-ups, the changes were never made and it didn’t happen.

First when we picked up the truck and tow we informed them we would be driving it 17 hours to Austin, Texas and wanted to ensure that the equipment that we were receiving could make that trip safely and comfortably. They gave us a truck without a radio at first and then refused to change it, I contacted the 800 number and received no assistance. Finally one of the sales associates did make the switch. One of our bag of furniture covers was molded! We recieved a car tow with a dry rought tire and got a flat on the way which took over 3 hours to change because they gave roadside assistance the wrong address TWICE!! But a good thing we did get a flat because the repair guy noticed that the car had been installed incorrectly, we paid the store to take care of this for us!!

I had booked at at 1 location got a confirmation for that location and if you hours later was told that my trailer it was going to be at a different location. Wasn't offered any kind of monetary compensation for my wasted time at the 1st location and had to return it to the 2nd location that was way out of my way

Service to rent my u-haul even after I had already entered everything online took nearly 20min. All they had to do was look at my ID and run my credit card.

Uhaul gave us a trailer that did not have brake fluid. We were moving 815 miles away. The vehicle got stressed out and over heated and we were stranded for 4 days. Roadside assistance never showed up. We had to load and unload the trailer 4 times sleep in hotels for 4 nights with 4 children. We end up having to return the trailer and put our things in a ubox which cost $1100. While are things were out the trailer a bad storm came and damaged a lot of our items. Jose and Alex has very poor customer service, never accepted ownership. We are 815 miles away and have to buy everything over. Jose told me not to call or come to his store.Alex was very rude as well. The only person who helped us was Ryan the manager in Kenosha. He was an angel sent from heaven. I am going to write corporate until something gets done. My family could have been dead if God wasn’t on our side. Thank you Ryan for your help but do not go to the West Allis store or think Alex there manager care. They are out for your money.

Please make sure the person I talked to on the phone, puts the correct time in for pick up. She put the wrong time in and the reservation was cancelled. I was not notified of the cancellation, but fortunately, there was a truck for me.

The wait for an attendant is always very slow. When I went to the 76th & Appleton location in Milwaukee, there were two attendants and lots of people needing help. They were completely overwhelmed.

The line was backed up to the door. 8 people in line. I did everything online it was supposed to be a simple pick up but it took 40 minutes of waiting. Dropping it off 9 hours later...yep same line and wait. I wasn’t waiting through a long line again to hand in keys. Guys at the desk were fine it wasn’t about that. It’s about wasting time you don’t have to begin with if your moving. Online is supposed to speed everything up. People not prearranging online hold up people that did the work ahead of time. Maybe 2 different windows or lines. The truck seems worn and loose on the road. The suspension seems worn, tired. 160,000 miles tired.

Usually a good experience. This time was not. The lot attendant was nowhere to be found. Inside guy hooked up my trailer 20 minutes after doing the paperwork. Oh, I did the Express Check-in online. If it saved me anytime, it was negligible in this case.

I pre ordered a 26 ft truck. I got there and they couldnt find the keys for that truck for two days. Didnt even bother to tell me this so that I could have rented from a different location. Instead, they gave me a 17ft truck, which was someone else's reservation. To say I was livid would be an understatement, as I had to pay extra for the several trips I had to make with the 17ft truck. I dont think I will continue my business with Uhaul.

Fuel was inaccurate when I checked out. Had someone hand write and initial the fuel before I left. I put fuel in the truck and when I returned it there was more fuel in the truck than when I left. I returned the truck shortly after closing time, but was still charged for fuel.

I reserved a tow dolly 6-17-19 at the 5511 south 108th st. Location as where I t was very close to the highway where i needed to go on and my drop point was 610 s 108 th street all confirmed with # and date and time of usage .the next day 6-18 -19 I received no e-mail or call when I arrived at 3:35 p.m. 5511 south 108 th street they had no dolly in the lot ???? I said you have 25 minutes to produce one .one and then both gentleman called and contacted a u-haul agent the u-haul agent contacted me and said I would have to pick up at my drop off location I said you must be shitting me as I'm st my pick up location and it's all road construction and rush hour I said you will deliver one here they said WE DONT DELIVER TO OTHER LOCATIONS I said BULL SHIT ITS DONE ALL THE TIME .so I had to fight my way thru traffic and construction then I and my two vehicles owner showed up there and the 610 s 108 th street drop off locationlocation which I passed once together to my pick up location and the skinny black guy working said he possibly wasnt going to let me rent the item because he said he can do anything he wants and can deny me rental I was hot and said what I have been through all ready he didnt seem interested but to play on his phone .so I went to the next attendant dudes buddy ,he was a little better and I made my rental and was on our way and the white guy was very good to hook up trailer and talked a little about the newer style dolly's. That's a crappy ex po experience from the 2 guys who vf were behind the counter workers .

Everything was great. The truck was impressive nice and clean. the only thing I would change is the way you accept after hour truck rentals. After moving all day and we were so tired and it was late, we still had to fill out that whole question Aaron take pictures and I'm not very good at doing that.thank God I had my son and my son-in-law with me and they're really quick at it but all it took so long and I was so tired I just wanted to go home. other than that it was absolutely wonderful renting from you guys I would do it again in a heartbeat and my husband was very happy with the price also he thought it was wonderful.

It took almost 2 hours to pick up the trailer. I was the 3rd person in line. The computers were down and people didn't show up. They were using uhaul phones to try and get the paperwork done. It took a long time and very frustrated employees and customers. Sounds like it is a common problem for them when U Haul updates its computers - or that is what they said it was. overall very dis satisfied with my experience. I will have to think twice before I rent another trailer. Was almost late for the graduation party I traveled 3 hours to go to. Kevin Thicke 608-780-8800

i have to wait over 30 minutes for someone hook up the tow dolly while employee stood around and some were walking about talking on there phone. i called in and did all the paperwork over the phone with credit card info for quicker time in and out. but still had to do all the same questions and info again, i gained no time savings . They are very slow there and will help when they want to. The more you ask for help, the more they will be busy with other things and make you wait.

We were rerouted to pick up the necessary equipment ( a 26' trk and a wide tow dolly) almost 40 miles away from where we made our reservations 30 days in advance , which was not the locations fault... But when we arrived as scheduled we had to wait almost an hour for these guys to do repairs to the tow dolly (new strap) that are generally done when the equipment is returned in disrepair, not after it's booked out to the next customer. The repair was made poorly (strap was twisted and the ratchet on the drivers' side should have been replaced as well) . The repairman broke 2 cheap 3/8" ratchets trying to do the repair with the wrong tools and finally rolled the dolly into the shop to use air tools after the struggle nearly overcame him...

They were so busy the day I came in to pick up my U-haul, and someone forgot to put my dolly in the truck, by the time I got back there and through the long line, they didn't have any dollies left.

Inspect the equipment with greater scrutiny prior to release. We had a tire blowout on the trailer. Either it was poor air pressure, a weak tire, debris, or a combination of them. Ordinarily this shouldn’t be a huge deal, but the procedures for handling roadside assistance issues is severely lacking. I called the U-Haul location I rented from and was referred to the number on the trailer. I called the number on the trailer. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes I spoke with someone briefly with my tire blowout concern. I was then directed to an automated line to deal with roadside assistance. After waiting on hold for another 5 minutes, it was a message that said visit U-Haul.com for roadside assistance. I waited 20 minutes to get told to go online to fill a form out. After a half hour goes by I get a text saying my order has been received. 10 minutes go by before I get a call saying the only roadside assistance won’t be available for 3 hours. Three hours on the side of a dangerous intersection waiting was completely unacceptable. And to top it all off, instead of the ~$36 it was supposed to be, I was charged ~$76 presumably because I returned the trailer after hours. I’ll never use U-Haul services again should this not get resolved.

I reserved a truck online, and pre-registered thinking it would speed up the pick up, If I had known I could prepay using a mobile app and walk in ahead of 12 people in line(as 2 other did), show my phone with the truck # and leave, I would have. Ill bet the other 11 people in line with me would have too..You should push that option, it would speed things up considerably for your patrons, as well as your employees!

The service was great once I received it, very delayed because they were providing good service to someone else. Very understaffed for a Summer Saturday morning. I was actually at the Facility 6 time in a matter of a week and found the wait exstreamly long. 45 minutes and I was second in line with 2 people at the counter serviced by 2 people. By the time I was finished there were 12 people behind me. I can't imagine how delayed they we in getting their project of the day started.

I got the truck 1 hr and 40min late and then had to sit on the phone for over and hr to talk to a customer service rep to be refunded $50. They fixed the issue however the hassle and wait time was ridiculous

I waited over 2 hours in line to get my trailer. Then I took it home and woke up the next day to a flat tire. Then I waited another 2 hours for someone to come and fix the tire. I probably will not use Uhaul ever again.

I don’t see the point of being able to pre-check-in via the mobile app if I still have to wait in line at the West Allis Center then wait for a guy to hook up the trailer. I would prefer to get the trailer number via email, hook it up myself and drive away without having to wait for anybody. I am already allowed to drop off trailers with the mobile application,

Staff was completely unorganized. I had requested a trailer online the night before and was never called confirming where to pick up. They didn't have the trailer i needed. The gentleman i worked with was great, but definitely flustered and under staffed. A long line and only one clerk for the twenty minutes i waited in line.

Employees were late to work. Lobby left open overnight so when we showed up for out 9 a.m. appointment we were already 8 people behind. Employees didnt show up until 9:30. When returning the vehicle, employees said next time dont lock the bay door. I said that's funny cause why is the lock there. No where does it say I cannot use the provided lock. Pretty sure a key to the lock comes attached to the keys for the vehicle. Incompetent crew. My wife will be calling to speak to a supervisor about how unprofessional they are.

When I dropped off the truck the process was poor. There were two workers (I think one was a lead or manager) looking at me pull up and did or said nothing. They watched me walk up to the counter Nd wait. The counter person then calls them over to take care of the return. Careless effort

Highly dissatisfied. They rented out the moving vehicle for 48 hours. I got a call that they over booked and told me I had to return in 24 hours. They screwed up and I had to pay the price. This was unacceptable and will be reporting to customer reviews!

Absolutely hated the manager who said she'd deny my reservation if I didn't give a 2nd phone #. I don't have a 2nd phone #!! Nobody uses land lines anymore!! Cell phone is glued to my hip & is enough!

Everything worked out fine. Storage unit was easy to get to. Sometimes the driveways and parking lot were quite full and hard to navigate but that was because those were busier times
