The process was so smooth. Everyone at this location was very helpful and answered every question I had. The whole process took about 30 minutes start to finish.
They charged me an extra $20.00 after hours service fee even though I was told I could bring it back before 6:45PM, which I did, and was not told I'd be charged an extra $20.00 just because the office was closed at that time.
Van was clean and easy to drive. Friendly staff and easy drop off. Affordable. Thank you.
Experience was great, would have been 5 stars, until I went to pay my credit card bill and seem to have been billed at time of online reservation and again when I dropped off the vehicle. Now I have to take extra time to call to have corrected. The online reservation didn't work well, when I got there to pick up the vehicle, we had to go over many of the same items.
This is the 2nd time I have used this U Haul location. It is very busy. It would be nice to have more than one person checking out people that need moving trucks.

I tried to call before I came in to ask a question, mind you I already made arrangements on the computer. I waited on the phone way over an hour and no I mean no one picked up. When I got there to finally pick up the truck I waited again for 45 minutes. The guy behind the desk was rude and acted like I should no what to do. When I returned again he acted like I should of know what to do. I was over charged another 11 bucks on my credit card with no explanation. I will be posting this on google.
Offer other options of pick or location. Was sent to this location and took me almost a hour and 30 minutes to get the vehicle I had reserved since it wasn't at the location I originally reserved it at. Called location to transfer info to location and never was done. System was down at location and not enough staff for customer waiting. Manager was also saying that he doesn't care about being rude to customer who forgot their mask and because he is managers he can be rude (openly said it to all customers in the store).
Nothing. Picking up with my phone was simple, hassle free, and I didn't have to wait in a line.
It was my first time and experience using/rental from U-haul and It was a great service all around.

no one seemed to have any idea of which trucks were parked where. And while one agent had a line of people to wait on, the other two agents refused to take any of the customers. That was ridiculous!

I was disappointed that I had to buy gas for my van rental in addition to paying a mileage charge. $0.59 per mile is higher than the IRS standard mileage rate, which is designed to cover ALL expenses of operating a vehicle, including fuel. So I essentially paid for gas twice - in the mileage fee and at the pump. I'd suggest amending the rental contract so customers either return it with as much gas as it had at pickup, or just charge the mileage fee - not both.
The store wasn't open when I dropped off so I did everything online

From the very beginning this process was unnecessarily stressful. Difficult to complete the online scheduling process, then getting contacted by their customer service about completing the set up that I already completed online, sitting on hold for 30 minutes for the West Allis store before giving up, and then being unable to find on the website where to upload a picture of my driver's license. Then picking up the truck involved standing out in the cold for 10 minutes alone in the back parking lot waiting for a representative "to approve the rental", driving a 26 foot truck that smelled like an ashtray and seemingly lacked any sort of shocks as I bounced with every bump and crack in the road, and getting a call from the store telling me my 8 hour rental from 7-3 pm was past due at 2 pm. Upon questioning the employee when I returned the truck on whether I would be paying a penalty, I received short answers and attitude. The question for this survey was "what can we do to improve for the next customer", and my answer is try not to make the customer feel like an inconvenience while providing you business.
