The rear Door on my Truck. would Not Close due to a white plastic piece above the open door. Had a deliveryman nit happened by....we woukd not have been able to move our goods to storage.. you need a cold drink machine in the office for clients.

I rented a 15' Van front this location. When I picked up the truck, exterior was dirty and interior very sandy. I took pictures of as part of my inspection but galled to look inside the back. Once I arrived at my house I opened the back to load supplies and discovered the truck was packed full of junk. I quickly returned the truck and received another similar 15' van as before. On my way to the house I needed to fuel up since I was driving a long distance. After putting $84 worth of gas in the tank I started hearing water flowing and looked down to see gas was flowing from the tank onto the ground and I all over the ground. I quickly shut off the gas and saw that the tank was only half full and the rest had spilled out on to the ground. So, I returned the truck and I informed the mgr of the issue. I was given a third truck but a 17' van this time because at this point they were out of 15' vans. The truck I was given needed gas again so I put another $83 of gas in the truck which have me 3/4 tank. As I was driving the A/C fan speed would not go higher than low and then while I was driving the A/C would turn off and on periodically. Needless to say in the high desert of Los Angeles country I was VERY HOT! To top it all off, I was late for my appointment! As a result of my “pain and suffering “ (my words) the mgr took $100 off my $300 bill. As a retired and disabled veteran and member of the community I expected to be treated a lot better than I was. I will make every effort to make it known how I was treated and to avoid this location.

Our uhaul smelled like rancid meat in the box part of it. I don't know what the last person used it for, but it smelled like a dead animal or rotting meat. Returned last uhaul over a half tank over what I needed it for and couldn't get a reimbursement or credit for future use.

The U-Haul unit was an okay level of cleanliness. My unit was locked up saying I didn't pay rent when it shouldn't have been. I had to take extra time to go to the front office to get it settled. Luckily that was a time when the front office was open. I submitted a request for move out online and it didn't get processed until I called the office 3+ weeks later requesting it to be done.

Returned with more than a half gallon more gas than I rented it at, needed another truck next week, and couldn't reimburse me. Also returned 3 hours early, with no reimbursement.

I never personally saw the pacific location of this particular U-Haul, however the service I received was very professional. Journey I believe her name was kept me informed and explained everything for me which I appreciated so much. Such a pleasant attitude and friendly encounter with her over the phone. I would definitely use this service again.

Long wait times. Unfriendly staff. Unhelpful management. Poor customer service. I would only recommend them because they have the largest selection and a convenient location. If can go somewhere else, do!

Our storage in Lancaster was fine, and the few broken items were probably broken in transit. My complaint is that they made a $411 charge in error and then it took me four hours of my work day calling the location and Uhaul (because the location NEVER picked up my call) to get it resolved. Why should I have to waste my time fixing their error?!

My experience with U-Haul was a complete disaster!!! I had arranged with U-Haul to have my Pod delivered to my home so we could unload it and have everything ready for the moving company that was arriving the next day early in the morning to move our things to the East coast. When the Pod arrived they had brought us an EMPTY pod, not our Pod that was filled with our things but an EMPTY POD!!! The company that delivered the Pod was a separate company not UHAUL , but UHAUL had given them the wrong Pod to deliver!! Now understand we were on a time schedule and had a moving company coming to pick our things up. I got on the phone called UHAUL explained to them what had happened and I got thrown around on the phone from this person to this person to another person. Then the last person I spoke with said the manager would call me back in 5 minutes, NEVER EVER GOT A CALL BACK!! Got on the phone again and the same thing , I then said I want to speak with a supervisor, then they said WHY?!?!?!!! I told them everything that had happened and that I now had been on the phone trying to get this resolved for 3 1/2 hours !!! She then informed me that a supervisor was not available. But she said she would have one call me back within the hour, and I told her that this is what I was told 3 1/2 hours ago and no one had called me back. She assured me that I would get a call back, guess what NO CALL BACK!!! This was beyond frustrating getting thrown all around by them on the phone and then no one was following through and returning my call to assist me with their screw up!!! The worst customer service ever and NO ONE SEEMED TO GIVE A CRAP!!! Finally after doing this for 5 1/2 hours I spoke with a lady at the call center, I explained everything to her and told her I needed to talk to someone who cared enough to take care of the problem that they (UHAUL) had created and not just throw me around to the next person who would only promise me someone would call me back to fix the problem and then I would get no call back. I asked her to connect me with a supervisor which she finally did and she was able to help me. But by this time it was to late to get my Pod delivered that day, as the place they were bringing it from was over an hour away. So it had to be scheduled for the next day, which meant I had to call my moving company and explain everything to them and reschedule them to come at a later time!! I will NEVER deal with UHAUL again. The staff do not know what they are doing so they throw you to the next person which is worse then the one before. They are RUDE and VERY UNHELPFUL, and just have a DO NOT CARE ATTITUDE!! I LOVE to give great reviews to companies that do a great job for their customers, but UHAUL you DO NOT deserve a good review what so ever, you need to train your people on how to be helpful and get a problem or situation resolved and taken care of not just throw your customers around and have an attitude. It is frustrating enough to make a big move much less for this to happen and still NO ONE FROM YOUR COMPANY HAS CALLED ME TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE WAY I GOT TREATED and how I had to reschedule everything with my moving company which in turned changed everything for us!! You get a minus -10 on ever aspect in the way your company handled this situation!!!

A piece of my furniture was damaged due to the uhaul box being damaged by the unloaders of the box. Not a happy camper, but then I do not expect any feedback. Will not recommend uhaul boxes to my friends who are moving soon.

Not change itinerary and send customer to a pick up and drop location a lot further away than requested. This cost me more in gas to drive to the other location. Also I was told at counter to bring truck back with 1/2 a tank of gas but when I got in the truck it only has 1/4.

It must of been a rough day from one of your employees. At least the one that helped me. Was not happy that the computer he was using was taking so long to load. He said a few things verbally that he should of not said in front of me. Also the day I got my storage unit, both doors that give you access in the back were broken., and the three times I have accessed the storage the alarm goes off. I hope this experience gets better. This location was extremely far from where I thought I was making my reservation. 40 miles away from Altadena California. I wish I would have known that making a one-way reservation would require me to go so Far out of my way. I would have gone with another company. But I needed this trailer. The Lancaster location was very friendly albeit two hours round-trip out of my way. Really unfortunate.

The truck was at the end of its life with 131K miles, the drivers door had been damaged and closed, but had air howling since it didn't close right. The staff was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable.

We did not agree on the return fuel level. The attendant thought it was a little low, I drove 28 miles and added 2,5 gal of fuel and thought it was exactly where I found it. He said I should have taken a picture of the fuel gauge. Why didn't they take a picture if they wanted it “exactly” . Secondly, I was not happy with the “twenty something year old” attendant addressing me, old enough to be his grandfather, as bro, dude, hey man. You should instruct your employees to address customers appropriately…sir, mr. or misses. I was not happy

The truck that I rented should be serviced, the transmission seriously needs mechanical attention this cause me time because the truck could only accelerate 60 mpg. The other ssue with the transmission is that it burnt up gas causing me to reill the truck twice (to the required fuel level (per rental agreement). I explained this to one of the technicians once I returned the truck and he only discounted $20 off of the charge. I'm just thankful that the truck didn't brake down on the road but it should truly be serviced and not rented until the problem is rendered.

The move was approximately 1 mile for a total 5 miles from my storage unit to my new senior apartment. That is with 2 trips. I was quoted correctly when I picked up the van but upon returning i was charged for 85miles. How do I have this corrected? I feel cheated and taken advantage of.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had renting from uhaul. To be honest I have tried contacting the owner/manager several times and have gotten no response. I had to walk out yesterday after waiting about 30 min and the employees were so unprofessional and disrespectful that they refused to help me and was actually offering behind behind us service. I didn't like that I had to retrieve my own uhaul truck, do the walk around alone and log the mileage myself. Although I only traveled between 7 to 9 miles and the gas indicator didn't budge, I was still charged for extra mileage. Other than that, my experience with UHAUL was good

Only thing is I rented a storage unit that was shown to me in the rental office for the size of 5X7X10 that is not true. The unit is 5X7X 7 . The unit is not 10 ft high like my rental contract says and what was shown to me.

I set up automatic payment, they even had my credit card on file. They did not charge me, and on top of that they charged me a 29 late fee. When I called all said was there was nothing they could do.

(1) My family received several emails regarding the lock not being on the unit properly but we each live hour and a half to two hours away; having no recourse with a situation like that was stressful because of the protection of our things. (2) The area was ALWAYS clean and very well lit!

The person on the phone should tell you everything I needed to rent the unit. 3 names, addresses and phone numbers. I didn't need that much information to rent the truck.

My only issue is that when reservations are made online they should be accurate. I went into the location expecting to have my storage and it wasn't available....I have moved from another state and this would be a bad situation once the movers arrived.

I tried to rent a space in person the day before booking this space online. The person I spoke to at the rental office told me there were no spaces available and could not tell me when spaces might become available. He was rude and extremely unhelpful, which led me to complete the transaction online. The other staff members I dealt with at this facility were very helpful though, especially Jessica.

I was at the storage unloading and it happened to be after hours and I was able to get in and out until I was able to lock up the storage. I was trying to empty the storage out Saturday night 7/24/21 and I was locked out with all of my stuff out in the walk ways and my unit open and was not able to go back in to at least close up the unit. Cause of this my stuff was out and unit was open. Cause of being locked out of the facility I feel it was not a secure place to store any of my belongings and I will not rent a storage or refer the facility to anyone

The young man that took care of me was very rude he really treated me like he didn't wonna work very unedself splintery. He didn't really try to be a nice person.hickies on his neck horrible. Hat turned backwards.we waited for awhile in line im handicap. He said he was in the back in the sun. While nobody was getting any help.it was sad. But i like your store so ill just deal with it.thank you.

There was no lock had to go to the office. The customer service reps were very helpful I had trouble getting in with the passcode. They gave me a card and that works but then I lost my card and had trouble with the passcode. So the passcode must not be any good I found my card in the car thank you.

Uneven rolling areas with cart causes stack movement, also mattress storage should be away from cart path sometimes have to move around a large mattress sliding out from whence it came . Clean storage unit, thank you .

Hours of operation should be extended 1-hour(8pm PST). The security system only allows the small door to open when the key gets swiped making it inconvenient to get big furniture through. Or at least making so that the double doors are useable after 7pm PST and you just have to swipe the card to get in.
