First, we placed the order to a third-party uhaul reseller and they rented the truck before our pick up time, so they sent us to a different uhaul store. The truck was not cleaned, a lot of trash under the seats. And, we got charge for the gas even tho we add the same amount the truck had when we got it. Not fair at all.Juan O.

Uhaul needs to provide better phone customer service and find a way to honor reservations made by its customers. Notifications from uhaul hours before a scheduled move advising equipment is unavailable is poor customer service. Having to wait 2 extra days for equipment added days to my move.TERESAYVONNE E.

Customer service was too good. And then I had a problem returning the truck because it wasn't accepting the miles. It said it was less than what I started with. I had to wait more than an hour on the phone for customer service and the person on the phone said she was going to put a note saying that I returned it that night and she didn't so I was overcharged. They changed me like I was returning the truck that morning when I didn't it at the exact time I was supposed to.SARAH B.

Guarantee and confirm reserved equipment availability such as hand trucks, furniture dollies, appliance dollies. Uhaul agent (not the professional that assisted me in the store) at this location told me over the phone they were not sure if they had everything in my reservation which caused a teachable moment when I arrived - sorry folks "I don't know" = "find out"SCOTTY W.

Add more inventory instead of limitations. The ladies working there are some of the most amazing workers in the US if not in the world. They all deserve immediate raise and high reasonable compensation for their tireless work at time of a pandemic they find no excuses like others but they excel each customer worked through the door expectations.SONDY L.

At 1st Reservation for Saturday, there was no van saved or available. I had to reserve another for 2 pm that day, and that too was not available. 3rd reservation for Tuesday was canceled, then on that same Tuesday picked up a van, and when returned an overage charge of 40 $CDW, which was denied, was illegally added. I tried to contact the location more than 7 times. there was always an excuse to wait for the right person. at the end, they recognized my number and they completely disregard my calls.Mimose E.

Davina_Bean@Uhaul.com or Charmon the driver who dropped my shipping pods was very helpful and did an excellent job! She was so friendly and such a hard worker as one could tell. The billing is a concern I have as I was quoted on the phone for 2 300 $total and I did see a bill for 2 600 $but not been charged yet. So not for sure what my final bill will be.Jonathan S.

The truck drove as if it had a transmission issue and the cabin smelled of cigarette smoke.WANDA L.
My only complaint was with the time it took. From the time I walked in - with a reservation for a pickup - it was over an hour before I was able to drive it off the lot. There were four people in front of me when I came in, no problem with that. There were two counter people handling this line. After 10-15 minutes, when it was my turn I approached one counter person who decided she would handle another (third line) in addition to her own. The four people behind me in my line were taken care of by the other counterperson and out the door before I was checked in. Then they couldn't find the key for the pickup, which was at least another 20 minute wait. It was completely unacceptable.joseph R.

Front office understaffed. Even though I checked in online it still took an hour for me to pick up a trailer due to only one person there. The last time I went there the system was down so I couldn't get my rental. The staff was friendly and helpful enough but the process is painfully inefficient and slow.William H.

This is the guy who need to help to hook up the trailer but he wasn't there so I did it by myself On the return he was there but he doesn't want to touch anythingâ€¦.! My truck and car dolly rental was to include 1 month of free storage. All I would need to do is pull the truck by the storage unit for an easy unload. It turns out the storage unit was on the second floor. I had to hire help because It was not feasible for me to do it. Then I was told I had to return the car dolly to another location or I would be charged for the first month story. This was not the agreement. I had to hire someone to help take the dolly to another location. When dropping off the dolly, the site told me they would take the truck too. The storage location that forced me to deliver the car dolly to another facility informed me that because I didn't return the truck, I would still be charged for the first month storage. I feel I was taken advantage of when forced tide live equipment to two locations and then charged just under 200 $for storage because the other U-Haul took care of the truck and car dolly. U-Haul also picked up 1/4 tank of gas. Bottom line, I felt cheated and abused, while also being forced to hire help. Very pleasant employees until they manipulate the original agreement and cheat me out of my money.Michael W.

The entire team went beyond the call of duty to help and accommodate my needs. Got Uboxes shipped from NYC, boxes came without any issues, i was promptly informed when boxes arrived, I was able to get a storage unit and all. They did they best to ensure i got my stuff secure and informed me at every step during this process.
