The manager needs customer service skills. I've worked customer service for over 20 years and know how to treat people. I was told the wrong information the day before by the manager on shift so he did not want to do what I was told would happen. I was already irritated not once did he apologized for anything that I was told. Then they try to charge me 52 extra dollars for fuel. When I filled it up to where I got it. He got up to check because why would I say the truth had to walk with him when he could've said "okay let me go verify" then he sees for himself that I was right. Did he apologize for over charging NO!. He just told the girl that checked that she needs to verify and actually look at it because And I quote "she was of by a mile". I wouldn't have been so angry if he would've apologized and not sounded like me being there was annoying. The clerk that took care of me Britnay Wood was outstanding. No complaints about her skills. But maybe train your managers on better skills and procedures. I work for a company that always used Uhaul for different reasons, and this one is right in my Town so I always use it but after this I will start looking for another rental company or different location.

I had to drive 12 miles past a branch that was just 2.5 miles from my house because the truck size I wanted was unavailable at the one near my house. why couldn't they move the truck? Not wanting to pay for the extra miles they offered to make the rental a "one way" and allow me to drop off the truck close to my house. The next problem was when the guy doing the rental agreement he used the wrong branch address which was 13 miles from home.

Every have that customer service interaction that leaves such a bad taste in your mouth that you swear on everything holy that you will never use the company again? Well. My interaction with Uhaul Location 791041 WAS that kind of abhorrently customer service interaction. You could probably start by doing some serious training of people skills with the employees of that location including the district manager who failed to communicate with the employees and exacerbated the degenerating situation. Finally, to have to call customer service to FIGHT to get my money returned three days AFTER I returned the product is unheard of! The Location 791041 needs a serious overhaul

Our check in experience was with someone who was obviously new and poorly trained so took a lot longer than expected. She had to ask and re ask her colleagues how to do everything from how to input info into the computer to how to find the right key to the vehicle ( which we found out upon return of the vehicle at a different location had the wrong color code) to how to use the keypad for my credit card. I hope for her it was her first day ... but she had been so clearly undertrained that she shouldn’t have been behind the counter as it soured our check in experience so much I likely won’t use UHaul again.

confirm all service reps have same information, the rep who gave us the rental said if we wanted to extend the rental time that was not a problem. However, when i called to extend, the rep then said i only could for 1 more day. Then I called the toll free service line and the CSR who answered was able to extend the rental for the 2 days I needed. It all worked out and Sharla the CSR was great.

I tried to use the mobile pick up, but they key was in a lockbox that the location KNEW did not work. So, I had to wait in a long, slow line to get someone to open the lockbox for me. It was understandable that the location was busy - this was the last Saturday of the month and I expected the location to be busy, which is why I used mobile pick up! I probably will not use mobile pick up ever again, because it only caused me to waste more time.

With only one person at the counter on a Saturday for pick up and drop off, I checked in with mobile check in. I was very disappointed in the process. "Go find your truck" that seems counterproductive as I wandered around the lot looking for the assigned truck. I'm sure somewhere in terms and conditions it mentions fuel, I drove the truck 20 miles used less than an 1/8 of a tank and was charged $50 for fuel. Nobody ever spoke to me (except for "here are keys" when I went back inside after finding my truck) and the return equip was backed up when returning the truck and I was told to just leave the keys in it. I don't think the fuel charge is fair and this is the worst costumer service I have ever experienced renting from Uhaul.

I had reservations at the Westfield location and on the day of my move they called and said I had to go to west Springfield. Inconvenient and out of the way. Why did I have to make a reservation in Westfield if they weren’t going to keep it? Secondly when I got to West Springfield I had to wait about an hour in line before I could talk to anyone. This put me well behind my moving schedule. Lastly I got charged for the extra mileage due to having to pick up in West Springfield instead of Westfield. Over all this was a complete and utterly poor customer experience.

The truck was clean but the AC didn’t work. I had it for two days and it was almost unbearable to drive in. Check-in and out was excellent, all the employees were amazing.

When I showed up to pick up the truck there was only 1 person helping the customers. Then another girl was standing around not offering to help. Finally 20 minutes later I asked a man if this was where I picked up the truck and he finally helped me. I was very angry with the speed and attentiveness of this location.

Due to equipment availablity I have to pick up and return 10 or more miles from my house. I should be allowed to return to the location closest to me with out having to pay one way charges. This would help uhaul also as the closest 5 locations didn't have a 6x12 trailer

The air conditioning didn’t work. The seats were dirty. The oil and check engine lights were on which was disconcerting! When I returned it and asked for a credit on my bill to compensate for these issues he laughed it off. I was so tired after a day of moving that I didn’t have the energy to fight the issue!

This location was excellent and accommodating. I had originally reserved a 26 ft truck for 48 hrs at the Boston Rd location and when I had arrived to pick it up they told me they didn't have the truck. They then told me that there was one at the Chicopee location, but when I arrived in Chicopee they explained that the truck they had was only available for 6 hrs not 24, and that the people at Boston rd had lied to me. The representative at the Chicopee location was very helpful and was able to locate the truck I needed at the West Springfield location. Long story short: the Boston Rd. location was a terrible experience and they wasted half of my day because they screwed up and then lied to me to get me out of their store. Union St. in West Springfield was amazing!

Nothing; I think it's great (as with the major airport car rental agencies), upon return of the vehicle. You just drive into the lot, a customer service representative is close by, you complete the checkout transaction on-the-spot, and have everything billed/ emailed information on file. I have been renting vans and trucks for almost 2 years with no damage to any vehicle. I have not been in a car accident in over 15 years. I drop over a cargo van on Friday 4/12 around 5:30 am. I get an email showing I am being charged $150 for damages of a $270 total cost to a wheel well. I called several times and left a message for GM Joe Wardrop twice on his cell phone to call me back and still no response from him. I never hit anything on my trip on 4/11/19 with your van and looked at it when I got home that evening and didn't see any damage. If this charge isn't reimbursed immediately to my company account, I will file a Small Claim Court case at Westfield District Court. I have spent at least $4,000 renting vehicles from UHaul. I was given wrong infrormation about the date of picking up many times, and again about the date of arrival many times. It arrived 3 days late. Also, for making me a lot of inconveniences, you are paying me $50 per day. However, I was paying rent of $100 per day to leave in an empty house just because you were late. That is not proper compensation.

This U Haul facility has a great staff of knowledgeable and friendly people. I have rented trucks and storage units multiple times without any problems. I give them the highest recommendation possible.

My initial pick up location was in Agawam. I spent over one hour in the parking lot trying to pick up my reserved truck via the online reservation I made. I would get as far as the request to turn on my location services. My location services were on. I finally got through to customer service who tried to help with no success. She said there may be a glitch in the online system. It's extremely frustrating to be sitting 5 ft. away from your reserved truck and the key and there is nothing you can do. The customer service rep found me an open U-Haul location in W. Springfield, where I drove to pick up a truck. I will never use the online reservation service again and will not recommend it to others.

UHaul makes it hard to get a full UBox back. (1) By 11am day before delivery still no time estimate, so cd not schedule movers. (2) No sameday pickup; storage units won't let it stay overnight.

I didn't use the facility. I had two U-Boxes delivered/picked up at my location. There were hiccups, later solved, for delivery and pickup. For the latter, the driver never called to check on time.

I never received notification that my UBox was delivered to the site. I had guaranteed delivery on 05/26, and spent a month trying to track my box down. I found it MYSELF 06/20.

The facility was clean, well-lit and secure. Staff friendly and helpful. Payment of the monthly fees was also very easy. I would definitely rent space again from this U-Haul location.
