The young man working on Saturday morning, June 15th at 11:30 am in the Westfield location was alone doing a fantastic job dealing with all of the customers with a very pleasant attitude! He’s an asset to the company. Hopefully he is recognized this way.

Rework the approval process for road mechanic, to much time wasted. I was unable to drive for 1.5 days due to the approval process for part purchase. Lack of update on vehicle repair by u haul.

The units were clean and they have gutters so if it’s raining your stuff doesn’t get wet when you open the doors. Little on the high side for cost.

I was fraudulently charged for a dolly and furniture pads. I tried to call the location for what I thought would be a simple fix and Gabe the “manager” was argumentative and unwilling to help. I think it is wrong that they will add charges to an invoice after you have left. They should walk the truck with you. Horrible experience. You would never know Gabe is the mananger by how he carry’s himself in the store or on the phone

The unit we rented smelled like a cigarette!! I can't believe it was rented to us with this smell. When we turned it in the young man at the desk wouldn't come out and just shouted he would send the recent. He could have engaged the end user a little better.

I called ahead to make sure vehicle I needed was there. I was told yes. I booked over the phone and again confirmed vehicle was there. I showed up and vehicle I was told was available had keys in the"needs service" section on board behind rental desk. One attendant was ready to give me the truck with ABS light on, stating the light was on but brakes work. The other attendant, who appeared to be the superior, said they couldn't let a truck out with light on. There was another truck smaller in size that was available but they would not cut,me a deal of any kind after their screw up! I was forced to rent smaller truck because I was there at this point. Rental form showed there was more gas in truck then meter actually showed. So I needed to take pics and go,back in store to have them adjust form. There was no,walk through or around vehicle. Just keys handed to me and there you go. Should have been more seamless. They have a good key board behind desk showing what status trucks are in, apparently they don't look at it.

The idea of pictures of the equipment that you are renting is good. The only issue that I have is they are not up to date. So what you say is OK in-reality it is not. I rented a van and the left front pic showed not damage. But in fact the lower black spoiler was hanging loose. It appeared that someone drove up on a high curb and pulled it loose.

Awesome!! Isaiah was amazing and extremely helpful when I picked up the truck, and doing the self return later that night was super easy. This is by far the best experience with Uhaul that I have had. I almost didn't use Uhaul this time because the last two times have been absolutely horrible and full of problems (at different locations, NOT the Westfield location). Thanks for a great experience Westfield UHaul & Isaiah!

I was beyond irritated with my experience yesterday 3/31! I have been moving the past couple days and needed a box truck because of the rain. I called 3-4 times until someone finally answered! Whoever answered the phone was very monotone and was very uninterested in my call, regardless he asked what he could do to help? I told him “I needed a small box truck for at least a couple hours.” He got very flustered and put me on a 10 minute hold! I almost wanted to drive out of my way to West Springfield to get a truck... After 10 minutes, Isaiah Kelso picked up and asked what I needed? I thought it was the same person before, so I got a little upset and said “I just told you I needed a small box truck and I was put on hold for 10 minutes!” Isaiah replied “well this is someone else!!” I apologized and he took my request. Upon my arrival an hour later, I walk into the Westfield location with no greeting but a kid with a big Afro sitting at the desk texting on his phone. I walk up to the desk and tell him I am here to pick up a truck. He says Isaiah will be in shortly to help, he is grabbing the truck for me. Isaiah came right in, but looked very unprofessional with his pants sagging and underwear hanging out, and a big comb in his hair! We sat down and went over payment. I told him I have cash on me, because I maxed out my card yesterday needing things for my new place! He gave me attitude about that! I gave him $100 cash and my Credit Card to hold onto! He replied “yeah man, your really making this easy for me!..” I was f**king livid at this point!” I was stressed out enough that I had to spend more money on getting a truck because of the weather! He pointed outside and told me to match the key with a truck. When I walked in the kid with the big hair, told me that Isaiah was getting my truck ready; so I assumed that the truck under the canopy was mine? It wasn’t, so my friend and I spent a few minutes out in the pooring rain looking for the truck. When I finally found the truck it was on the side of the building with advertising still in the front window! Later around 4:30 I came back with the truck. I pulled in the parking lot and parked it in the spot I picked it up from. Isaiah was in between trucks and came out shaking his head like I did something stupid!... he than pointed to the Storage Areas next door! I pulled out and followed him. I looped around and put it in park. He continued to shake his head at me! I rolled down the window and asked “where is it supposed to go?” He replied “whatever man, just leave it there, that’s fine I’ll move it!” I jumped out and he told me that I would get emailed my bill.. I reminded him that I left cash and my credit card. He replied “oya, well you are going to have to wait for a little while!” The whole experience was very unprofessional, irritating, and made my day such a pain in the A**! I would like a call from someone reading this (413)454-9644

Gabriel was efficient and helpful in assisting me with ordering my trailer hitch and setting up a time for installation. Isaiah demonstrated great ingenuity and and tenacity when installing my hitch, as my car was not all that cooperative. Both men provided excellent customer service throughout the process. I am grateful and will certainly recommend the Westfield U Haul.

Should not have to wait for an e-mail receipt later. Person wasn't checking vehicles back in right away. We shouldn't have to wait to see if there are charges we didn't expect. It should all be settled upon return, and a receipt printed. I also should not have to print it myself later.

Truck was advertised as a diesel but was gas. It wasn’t readily apparent that it was a gas truck, so someone could easily put the wrong fuel in thinking the truck is diesel. Some better fuel type labeling and proper advertising would be helpful
