First, you should answer customers' phone calls. Not everything is obvious on the website. And working through a regional or national call center doesn't cut it. Secondly, as there are only two main centers in Burlington that install trailer hitches and neither allow folks to wait, it's a huge inconvenience for folks who are coming from away (where there are no locations that do installations) not to be able to wait.
William W.STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED FINAL STATEMENT. WHEN VAN WAS RETURNED, THE "SYSTEM WAS DOWN". CLERK SAID I WOULD RECEIVE IT BY EMAIL NEXT DAY. STILL NOTHING, TWO DAYS LATER.
James M.I would recommend this one over the Burlington store. Had bad service at that one and ended up reserving one by telephone from this site. I feel like the ap was difficult to use also and was charged more than quoted for long distance trip.

One recommendation I would make is to periodically clean the moving carts as they have seen a lot of wear and tear since the facility opened. Most of them have dirt, paint, other stains on them. I know a lot of care is put into cleaning the trucks and trailers that are rented out and it takes staff time to maintain the facility, but it would be nice to see that the carts get a quick wash from time to time. Thank you for having a space that is clean, well-lit, and secure!

Having this information ahead of time would have helped us make a better decision regarding our move. The delivery date was listed as ONE day when I made the reservation, not FOUR. Very shady business behavior.
Nicholas R.What could be a better storage space rental than one on the first floor that is climate-controlled ? U- Haul Storage Facility is superior in every way. The staff is super-friendly and helpful; there are carts of different sizes to accommodate your move- in or move-out. Incredibly, l was able to secure a storage unit when they are in such high demand. I was impressed with the security of the facility and pleasant experience my daughter had when she rented a unit. So , it paved the way to my renting a storage unit as well. Because of various delays and "hiccups" , l found that U-Haul was flexible with several unavoidable delays at my end , and were so accommodating with date changes and then time changes on top of it. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that staff (not only over the phone, but in person), readily worked with me . Everything is efficient , clean and organized. The ease of renting a unit and a truck are "user-friendly" on-line. I cannot say enough good about this brand new U-Haul facility in Williston, Vermont.

When I showed back up and car wasn't done the employee behind the counter dropped what he was doing and went and installed the hitch for me. Good customer service and friendly, particularly during a difficult day.

Nathan S.We requested our UBox to be available 24hrs in advance and we received email confirmation that it would be ready. When we showed up the following day, it was not ready. In fact, we were told by the staff to go out into the parking lot and try and find it, "that its like a treasure hunt." We were the only costumers there at that point and we couldn't find anyone outside to help us. When we went back inside, the staff who were just sitting there talking amongst themselves, did not offer to help us, they kept directing us back outside saying someone would be there to help. Finally the manager got involved but couldn't find our account box number because the staff had already closed out account and given me the receipt. Therefore, it took longer to find the box. We were not offered any kind of remorse, apology, anything. The lack of costumer service was ridiculous!

I am also disappointed that I had to pay for a whole month of storage for 3 days because delivery date was three days after the auto pay.
Matthew M.When I spoke to someone on the phone (not at Williston) they said that they would reserve a 2 box trailer for me so I could haul both boxes at the same time. They also collected a lot of information about my friend's truck to ensure it could haul the double trailer. When I got there, the location was out of double trailers which wasn't communicated which meant we had to do two trips and drive an additional 80 miles.

I reserved the storage unit on uhaul.com and the website made it seem like I was supposed to initiate move-out on uhaul.com as well. 8 days after I initiated move out, the request was still pending and I had to go in to the office to get it done. I tried calling multiple times but could never get through to anyone who could help me understand what the delay is. If I'd known that I needed to just go to the office, I would have done that the day I moved my stuff out.
David H. | Expérience généraleThe problem I have with using this location is that there is no way to reach them directly to request when you want your U-Box brought back to location for unpacking. If you try to call you get through to a national center and they transfer you over and over and you can never talk to anyone who is in the location you need. They say they send them an email and they will call me but they never did. I had this problem both moving into it and moving out of it. You basically have to live locally and go in person to do anything. Extremely frustrating process since we live out of state. I would not use U-Haul again because of this issue.

David C B.Both the location in Phoenix and Williston we found the person who managed the UBox warehouse to be exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Otherwise, the front office in both locations was fairly disorganized and the texts/emails we received for automated messaging didn't always match the situation and made things more confusing. There was someone in the Williston office though, named Marco, who was very kind and helpful.

Frank G.A criticism here. It would have been most helpful to reach this facility directly by phone. I needed to go out of my way to visit the facility first to get the information I needed, before finishing my task and then returning the trailer. A simple phone call directly to the site would have gotten me the information I needed rather than waiting on hold for a national site where the person I spoke with did not know the facility where my trailer was to be returned.

There was only one person working and it took a VERY long time for my turn to ask questions. The answer was basically "I can't do anything for you. Keep refreshing the web page." So basically the facility was understaffed, making it take an excessive amount of time even to get answers to a relatively simple question. If you had adequate staffing, I would give you 5 stars.

Judy M. | Expérience généraleThe facility is great, exactly what I was hoping for and the communication clear and purposeful once we got acknowledged after waiting in an empty room for a bit. My one complaint is that not only was bathroom was out of toilet paper, the trash inside of the bathroom was overflowing so much that it was taller than the sink and spreading out onto the floor and there was what looked like blood smeared around the sink. Because it was beyond the state of average use we when we arrived we mentioned it to one of the agents that the bathroom was out of toilet paper. We were there several hours unloading from a cross country move and saw the agents leaving for the day having not addressed the restroom at all and it got progressively worse as our day went on. In need of some serious attention, please.

My only concern is that you can book a reservation, but that doesn't mean the trailer will be there, or that the storage space will be there when you need it. I reserved a 5 x 5 storage space, and then the day before leaving, I was told it wasn't available. Fortunately, I needed a 5 x 10 otherwise it would've been very inconvenient.
