Spots are very small to park in long wait times especially for people who have pre booked Suggestion if notnprebooked those people should step out of the line prebook online then step back into the line! People who are organized and have pre booked should have some type of perk for doing so! Everyone's time is valuable but if you do your part it will always go smoother!
Nicole M.I don't understand how you advertise $19,95 for a rental yet my daily charge was $109????? I only had the van for 6 hours thinking I would be charged $19,95 but the misleading advertised price was not charged. Instead I was charged $90 more that expected. Not impressed.
Verna W.I had a terrible experience renting a cargo van to move from Windsor, ON to Ottawa, ON. 1,5hrs in the vans AC malfunctioned, I sat and waited for call backs from customer service and then road side assistance. No one would even come out to check the vehicle. I was instructed to return the vehicle to Windsor in order to exchange for another one. I was incredibly frustrated we were not able to perform the exchange at a uhaul nearby. We had to drive another 1,5hrs back to Windsor for the exchange????!!! Upon arrival to Windsor the store manager made promises to me re reimbursement for time, moving furniture, fuel etc...Get promises in writing!! She went on vacation without informing assistant manager Kyle Desbien about the details regarding my rental. The only reason why I am taking the time to write this review is to say that Kyle Desbien at the Dougall rd location is the saving grace for a company that claims to provide an excellent service. I'm serious, Kyle Desbien deserves a raise!

Jennifer P.I was told to pick up on Walker Rd today by the booking phone agent which was incorrect as they did not have trailers. Dougal Ave has all the trailers though, in their tiny parking lot with weird angles. You cannot move anywhere through that parking lot without having to squeeze between other vehicles. By squeeze I mean there is 2-3†of clearance for another vehicle, inexperienced drivers should very much avoid this location. Today was also the first time ever I had to return equipment to the same uhaul location I rented it from. There was wood debris and small screws in the trailer. Not the best thing to be throwing over the roadway in our own city. I removed the screws I saw but I didn't end up using the trailer today, so I did not sweep the wood pieces. Customers should be able to inspect the equipment before they're asked to pay. It would also be nice to see equipment spread out across locations to prevent a drive into the city core for a trailer.

Farzad M.There is no professionalism at this location. The Truck was not provided at 3 times and $50 was given to me. I got the truck in 4th attempt. The drop location was provided by the manager very far from my house while there were 10 Uhaul locations around my house in Hamilton. It was almost the downtown location and I faced a very tough time. I had to put extra gas and efforts. It was really horrible experience dealing with the executing who gave me thr drop off location. I called multiple times and they say that they will call me but I didn't get a call back. I lost almost $2000 because of this Uhaul location.
Ombir S.Awesome service, great staff!! Keep up the good work. Rented a car dolly, employee was very helpful and ensured I knew how to use the equipment. I was able to cross the boarder and retrieve my family's car that broke down in Detroit and bring it back here for repairs.

JAMES F.This location always makes you wait whether they are busy or not Ive rented a uhaul from here about 10 times this year and on average i got about 40 min to take the truck and about 30 for the return. This time i said im going to do it online so i dont have to wait but when i got there the website didnt work so i still waited long to speak to someone so i can get my truck. They're either all on the phone or talking to each other or they go to the back. U haul need to hire people just to run the front desk or improve the website so you dont need to wait for an employee

Watched her hit the UHAUL by backing it up on to these metal rod, she didn't see and kept going I had to run over and move the rod behind the UHAUL she pulled forward and reversed repeatedly. When she got out she said thanks I didn't see that. She damaged the vehicle she was driving.
Krystalynn M.Customer service was fine, was just a drop off but I would not recommend anyone to Uhaul. Uhaul on the phone customer service is the worst. So much time wasted trying to get to the right person, staff don't know jack of what's going on. Would not use uhaul again. I felt I was also overcharged for the tiniest truck they have that could not hold all my stuff especially moving over 3 hours away. Now I'm stuck with trying to get the rest of the things there by Friday. Here trying to figure things out. Over $560 for their smallest truck and with no one to resolve it at pick to make changes for a bigger truck after seeing the truck that was reserved for me. I'm pissed. I spent about 45 minutes at Days Inn in Brampton Ontario Canada, on the phone trying to get a bigger truck with no one to help and got stuck with a dinky truck. I had no clue what the sizes were. I explained what I had to move and the distance, and that was what I was given, wasn't my choice. Why not given a bigger truck to be on the same side since I said I was going 3,5 hours away. Don't care about location because I have no problem with that. Why not ask about my overall experience. Shitty if you ask me. Worst customer I had to deal with on the phone. I would have rather paid more more for better service elsewhere, could have done without the huge hassle now trying to figure out how to get the rest of the items 3 hours away that does not fit in my car. Like a chair and a big TV, along with more boxes than my car can hold. Stressful to say the least. I was finally refunded $50 but is not enough for the hassle and the additional cost to get the rest of the items there plus the gas to go back and forth. Over $560 plus gas plus paying 2 men and food for them as well for the 2 days and still spending. Not satisfied with the $50 discount. Would never recommend Uhaul.

Kory M.I booked 2 trailers 6x12 at this location it was confirmed . Only to find out that they only have one . I waisted 1/12 by going to another location to pick up the 2nd trailer in addition to that the trailer at the second location wasn't ready on time. So there was more delay. All that damaged my schedule with the loaders at the expected arrival location. The loaders abandoned me and did not return till the next day and that forced me to keep the trailer extra they the rearrange with the loader again and ended up costing me extra day charges

Hamie M.1st: no phone respose 2nd: your vehicle fuel gauge is horrible, i over fueled 30 litres of gas due to it. U haul didnt refunded me those.money even it is lag in fuel gauge. 3rd: Over all you.guys are short staffed and not very good service.
Navneetkumar R.Was overcharged from renting the same size uhaul the week before to the sane location i went to. The truck i used used $190 in fuel for the sane run as the week before. I felt the truck ran poorly as fuel consumption was insane and despite the lower gas prices from previous week. Leaves me dump founded as to y so much of a difference? I will not go back to this location or recommend anyone. My previous visit the week pryor wasn't to bad at all and I used less fuel at a higher rate. You need to maintain your trucks to get the best value for your customer.

Vince S.Upon my arrival there was a long wait for someone to come to the counter. When I returned the vehicle there were customers in line before me. The one guy said he was waiting over 20 mins to be taken care of. The person in front of me just left, didnt want to wait any longer. Its either under staffed or poorly managed at this location.
ROXANNE G.I was renting the cargo van for the day and then when I made my reservation, I was pressured to return it in 4 hours. That was not enough time and I told the agent so. She then suggested 6 hours. That would be close but I couldn't be certain. I rushed and was extremely stressed during this period of time and maybe one and a half hours away from my return time I realized that I probably couldn't make it. I called to say I would be a bit late and she said don't rush yourself, take your time and extended the return time by 2 hours. Uhaul had me stressed all day for no reason because I should have had the vehicle all day and I would have returned it when I was finished...before closing time. I won't be pushed around again.

Mary S.The original truck I reserved was sent to Florida one way , they gave me a bigger truck which drove like a tank ,I picked up this dirty truck with a quarter tank of gas and returned it with a quarter tank of gas . I drove it 21kms total and put in 10 litres of gas and when I returned she said that I was still a smidge low of quarter tank of fuel, had to drive another 3kms to put in another 10 litres of gas or she was going to charge me 28,69 for the gas plus 38 .00 to put it in . So upon returning it, the truck had more gas in it than when they gave it to me ... with this bad experience , I will go to Penske next time since they have literally ripped me off .

Judith M.The guy behind the desk was cool but everything else was a migraine headache. I had a booking and it became canceled on me while I was on location. 1,5 hours later I finally get on my way. This delay caused me to arrive after hours where I was picking up my car from and therefore all the help I had arranged to help load the car was no longer available. I listed help from a neighbour after about another hour trying to load the car. Then to put the icing on this crap cake I get to my car that I parked on located I find a nice dent in it just to be told there's nothing uhaul can do about it. To say I am unhappy is an understatement. Before I rent another item from uhaul I will buy a shady Craigslist item that I would be renting.
david D.I picked up my U-Haul on Friday afternoon, there were 8 people in line in front of me and a growing line behind me. The staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant but all stopped processing paying customers to answer the phone and answer questions about rentals. this delayed the pick up process and created dissatisfaction. A paying customer should take priority over someone calling ask 'how big a trailer is'...... Thanks for the rental, it was great and the staff were also great!

Waited 30 minutes for the guy to tell me where to park it, then he didn't bother helping unloading he just stood there and watched me do it. Maybe disclose to the customer where to drop the trailer off and not yell at them when there fed up waiting for a simple direction

The person helping me did not seem to care, they just gave me the keys and said the truck us out back. I thought what about a walk about, confirmation and understanding of the rental and show me where to park when I get back in....etc...

Two monthly payments were taken out after I moved out in good standing and even rented the equipment from you to move out. It took 4 phone calls for me to resolve this matter and have the monies put back on my card along with numerous hours of cleaning everything after discovering the mouse droppings.. The staff at the location were fantastic however.
