I ordered the van before the weekend.I ordered the truck for the8th.I was sent an email to pick up my truck and it was not there.I called the 800 number and was told it was moved to another location with giving any information that it was moved.I stayed on the phone with your associate while driving to the new location.When we arrived at the location it took a long time to make an account and when given the code to get the keys the code did not work.The associate was very nice and said try to see if there was another code.while sitting on the phone for a while I was getting stress and so where my friends.The second location was not open until 11:00.I told your associate that I did not want to wait,but I needed to talk to my friends.A minutes later she came back on the phone and cancelled my order.Through this whole ordeal she was pleasant and said she was sorry and give me fifty dollar credit.I the called the second location to get the truck three minutes after it opened an it wad given to some else.I have spent two hours of frustration with this ordeal . My original order was to be picked up at nine oclock.The second location found a truck in rolling meadows.I will never recommend uhaul or use again. Thank You Lisa Jurgensen

Check the operation of the gas gauge. I drove only 55 miles and i put in 11 gallons of gas to make it register at the 1/2 point. I was instructed that I was to bring the truck back with a half tank of gas . I mentioned it to the attendant and said I put in 11 gallons whch was $25.00 of gas in order for the gas gauge to register a half tank. I noticed the gas gauge was not going up until I put in the 11 gallons. He said I should have used the contract pictures about putting in gas that probably wouldl have been no more than 2 to 3 gallons. However, if I had done that, the gas gauge would not have registered at the half tank point. Bottom line is that if the gauge was registering correctly, I would have only put in $7.00 of gas instead of $25. I asked for an adjustment on my bill and the attendant said he could not do that. I would like my $18.00 over charge on gas returned to me given that the truck gas gauge was not operating properly.

Uhaul Moving and Storage of Woodfield is great! The location is really convenient to a multitude of highways. It’s super clean. Very secure. I love their loading and unloading area. You can pull you car or truck right in and get out of the weather. They have plenty of moving carts. The staff has always been very willing to help and answer questions. I was very happy with the service there. I would highly recommend this location!

Next time you book a truck at one location make sure the truck is there. Don't call the customer 12hrs before pick up they have to go to a further location to get the truck.

A more clear explanation of where to drop one way rental arrivals would help. Lot is not marked for sorting local rentals from one way rentals. Coaching staff on communication skills would help, (face someone when you speak to them). I could not hear the employee who had the bad habit of not just pointing to where I should drop off the trailer, but also turned his back to me so he could face where he was pointing and spoke in that direction, (spoke with his back to me), (TWICE). I just drove in the direction he gestured having not hear a word he said. That was annoying, but otherwise the rental was GOOD, and employee was polite enough. I'll use this location again as preferred over other packed full small locations.

The equipment broke down. I was left stranded waiting for roadside assistance for 4 hours. The first technician came to fix the problem came with the wrong tire size. He then returns and see that there was another issue so I was left stranded again.

management ans communication was horrible.it took me an hour to get through to them,, i had to travel 7.5 miles to pick up my vehicle and trailer.i did not get compensated for the inconvienence..my choice was Itasca not Rohling meadows. did not find out the final location in a timely manner.Instructions for the late bring back were not complete. i did not get any copies of my contract..printer was down...a company this big cant let thishappen. . i am not a happy user.

One note - the truck was generally clean, but I would have paid more attention to cleaning the steering wheels, the gear lever etc , especially in these pandemic reality we have now. I do not have option and I can not attach a photo to show you how dirty was cloth which I used to rubbed the steering wheel - way way far from clean and sterile

The employee who handled my rental on Saturday was very helpful. He was quite swamped with customers to help though, which led to a rather long wait. There was a second employee, but he said it was only his second day on the job so he was unable to help.

The truck mileage was different than the mileage on the contract. Clerk rectified that before I left. Fuel tank is confusing. The sticker guide and chart on contract don't exactly match the fuel tank guage on the truck. Got charge for it not being exact.

The app needs a one way option. This is what I wanted. The app lets you put a pickup and drop off location But when I went to get the van, I had to drive it back the 40 minutes to the same location. Huge waste of time.

I actually reserved my truck at the Rand Rd location but when I arrived to pick it up, I was told it was actually at the Tollview Dr. location. This caused me to add an addition 8 miles (or $8.00) to my rental and caused me to spend more time for the pick up and drop off. I wasn't happy at all.

I realized that they have wrong information on beginning mile on the vehicle in the contract(1030), after I returned and paid for 28 mile. It is my fault that I did not watch the mile on the vehicle when I rent it I checked google map and found I drove14 miles, not 28 miles. Also, I refilled gas for 3 gal however, U-Haul staff charged me for not filling gas. I show gas receipt and double checked the panel with staff and he corrected and gave me the credit. Although it was small money, it was unhappy experience. I did rent several time from this location before and used to be good service but this time, it was not.

The total miles i used the rental is for 10 miles and the avg miles/gallon is 16.8 but after returning the vehicle in the final receipt I was surprised because I was charged $12.38 as fuel charges. I am very much disappointed. Thank you !
