My trailer was clean but it needs maintenance. The wooden hold-down strips inside the trailer have come loose in a couple of areas. Previous repairs on hold-down strips on other areas were reattached using glue. The glue covers some of the slots making them unusable. My overall rental experience was very positive. The amount of room on property and in the showroom make getting in and out a breeze.

Perhaps have the truck cleaned off from ice and snow. The gentlemen that assisted us were great, as the weather was horrid.

I was downsized by reservations/dispatch to a 4x8 trailer after reserving a 5x10 and agreeing to pay a $25 guarantee feeing. I ask at the time of the phone call telling me the change in the reservation if a larger size was available since I was moving a queen size bed. I was told, “no” and a queen size bed should fit. When I arrived at this location and seeing the smaller trailer, it was very apparent the 4 x 8 trailer was too small, at best it might fit a queen size bed, but that would be it.. The crew at this location check their inventory and found a 6 x 12 trailer available in their inventory. While doing a proper safety check, the left turn signal did not work. They did a diagnosis on the four prong plug on my car, and it was faulty. They notices I had the large plug as well and resolved the problem with an adapter. Despite how frustrated I was, they were very professional, managed my expectation, and did a fantastic job working the problem to find a solution. As a CFO of a manufacturing company, I would be proud to have employees like this crew as part of my staff.


It was a really bad winter storm and the personnel helped get me out of the snow 🙂 the extra things sometimes make a perfect day 🙂


Instructions for drop off was poor. The staff ws not friendly. The trailer door was not esaily moved. Took over an hour and assistance from UHaul national customer service number to return trailer. The last time I was there found service better than for this visit.


Anthony set up the reservation and he is terrific to work with. Always polite, professional, and proficient. Great representative of the company. I've sent other people to this location, and all have had very positive interactions with him.

I was in and out. Got to check in and had the vehicle in less then 5 min and the check out was the same out in 5 mins. Will definitely come back here for a rental. And the price was a good price for having it for 2 days

The trailer I rented worked fine when picked up but had lighting issues hours later. The connections were all tight and I stopped a few times to disconnect and re-connect them to no avail. I made it through the rental and showed the facility where the trailer was dropped so it could be looked at.


They charge me extra fee I don't know why i call customer service no one pickup call and also i call the location that i pickup the truck no one pickup my call they just charge my card


The location is hard to find, but the staff was helpful.

I was charged for 2 gal. of gas yet at half an hour before my employee filled tank with 2.77 gals.

Employees not ready when I arrived. Employee appeared to be running late. Fuel level on Uhaul's record not accurate with actual fuel level of vehicle.


Charged me $3.75 for a gallon of gas? 0.5 miles before returning I topped off the gas tank by filling until the handle stopped on its own and then let it fill again until the gas fill handle clicked and shut off again. That last splash was fast and less than 1/8 gallon. The gauge didn't move up much in the 1/2 mile Drive to the U-Haul store. I was charged for a gallon of gas but I know you couldn't fit any more gas in the tank and if you turned the gauges on for a few more minutes the gas gauge would read full. I don't have any issue with paying an extra $3.75 / gallon for a gas convenience fee but I don't think I'm the only customer who was charged for gas upon return because the Float & gauge simply hadn't adjusted yet. Matter of principle and honesty.


I am not sure why the reservation became confused, however, we were able to pick up any closer location and a little earlier than necessary than originally planned. That helped us with loading. The staff was incredibly great from the regional office and at the pick up center.

Reservations should mean something. What's the point in reserving 2 months early when your company changes the reservations the day before? This really affected my moving logistics during an already stressful move.

I ordered the van before the weekend.I ordered the truck for the8th.I was sent an email to pick up my truck and it was not there.I called the 800 number and was told it was moved to another location with giving any information that it was moved.I stayed on the phone with your associate while driving to the new location.When we arrived at the location it took a long time to make an account and when given the code to get the keys the code did not work.The associate was very nice and said try to see if there was another code.while sitting on the phone for a while I was getting stress and so where my friends.The second location was not open until 11:00.I told your associate that I did not want to wait,but I needed to talk to my friends.A minutes later she came back on the phone and cancelled my order.Through this whole ordeal she was pleasant and said she was sorry and give me fifty dollar credit.I the called the second location to get the truck three minutes after it opened an it wad given to some else.I have spent two hours of frustration with this ordeal . My original order was to be picked up at nine oclock.The second location found a truck in rolling meadows.I will never recommend uhaul or use again. Thank You Lisa Jurgensen

Check the operation of the gas gauge. I drove only 55 miles and i put in 11 gallons of gas to make it register at the 1/2 point. I was instructed that I was to bring the truck back with a half tank of gas . I mentioned it to the attendant and said I put in 11 gallons whch was $25.00 of gas in order for the gas gauge to register a half tank. I noticed the gas gauge was not going up until I put in the 11 gallons. He said I should have used the contract pictures about putting in gas that probably wouldl have been no more than 2 to 3 gallons. However, if I had done that, the gas gauge would not have registered at the half tank point. Bottom line is that if the gauge was registering correctly, I would have only put in $7.00 of gas instead of $25. I asked for an adjustment on my bill and the attendant said he could not do that. I would like my $18.00 over charge on gas returned to me given that the truck gas gauge was not operating properly.
