The workers are not wearing mask nor gloves handing out vehicles to my self and other renters. Scheduled for 8AM pick up but the store open at 9am, why the 8am pick up time available if store open at 9am? After putting all information online, i had to redo the whole process again like the agent do not have the online info at all. Whats the point of filling out extensive reservation online if the entire process has to be done again at pick up. 8am pick up reservation, i got into the uhaul truck at 9:30am

Still takes way to long to process even though you do half of the process online prior. Also asking for an emergency contact ? Come on so unnecessary and intrusive. Also there should be a way to be reimbursed for gas overage. With all the added fees give the customers something back aswell. We have to over fill to make sure you make it with enough has. I put more than a quarter tank and poof nothing if you come in a tenth short you pay? Lol

Everything was great until next day, when I checked my bank account and I noticed that I was missing $ 37 and change due to an extra UHaul charge, I called the location and asked why I was extra charged. They told me that because I didn't “CHECKED IN”. When I made the reservation and when I took and brought back the van nobody ever told me that I have to “ CHECK IN”. P.S. And of course is my fault. To say the least, and not to insult anyone: LACK OF COMMUNICATION and CARELESSNESS.

Check your vehicle inside and out all around. Check everything works especially the mirrors, the van I received the right side mirror wasn't working. The customer told me before getting the vehicle van that it didn't have scratches and that wasn't accurate lucky enough I took pictures and uploaded it the on uhaul website. The heat wasn't working. The vehicle I received was dirty, wet, smelled bad, and I got pulled over for a broken tail light/ signal light. Thanks a lot uhaul I could of been in a bad accident.

Unfortunately This location is consistently slow With large lines, along with slow times to pick up rental trucks. They don't perform that fast for whatever reason. They have a lot of potential if they just get their ducks in a row , and start focusing more. The central queens location is great .

Make sure you have the van or don't have the van by physically looking before you both accuse the customer of not returning it and charging him for a second day. Just. Fucking. Look. This was the worst example of customer service I've ever experienced.

First off the customer service was terrible. There was nothing explained by the associates and i was over charged and other the receipt it says “after hours service fee” after I picked up and dropped of the truck during regular business hours. Finally the truck was in terrible condition and not taken care of or cleaned at all. At a time when the world is stricken by Covid this facility does not take care of their equipment. If I was able to rate this facility and it's customer service worse than I already have I would.

1. worst experience ever. 2. I spent 2 hours at the middle of the night waiting for a technical support to answer my phone and after they did that I spent another extra 30 minutes working with them to help unlock the car which didn't work at all so I had to go back home and go to the location next morning to pick up a truck when the store is open. the location didn't claim any responsibility and they said they can't give me a truck and sent me to another location which tried to play the same game of not being accountable. so I had to make huge seen and act like an a**hole to be heard and serviced. Otherwise no body wanted to help me or at least listen

Waited over an hour after time told to get truck to be told they don't have keys to my truck. Than given a bigger truck and no compensation after waiting another hour for someone to bring truck around to front. This is all after I had truck reservation at manhattan location that called last minute to tell me they don't have truck. Can you please go to queens 6 hours later pickup and get truck there Cost me extra money for movers I had helping plus traffic etc. Never ever using. U haul again Also making sure to let anyone and everyone know how how this company does unsatisfactory business

Our original pickup location in Jamaica did not have our equipment available and sent us to a Flushing location which had broken equipment. We had to BEG them to find a place that could accommodate us, and that's how we ended up in Woodside. Everything prior to Woodside was an absolute nightmare and our move was nearly thrown off schedule as a result. We were moving a relative from Missouri to New York and there were many deadlines involved on both ends of the trip. When you promise equipment to a customer - and we reserved well in advance - that equipment should be available and functioning. There's no good excuse for what we experienced and, honestly, it's left a bad taste in our mouths with U-Haul. We would only consider U-Haul for inconsequential, local projects in the future. Having said all that, this is no reflection on the Woodside location which was very helpful to us. They stayed open later than they had to in order to finally get us on the road. We appreciate their kindness and professionalism.

The moving blankets I had rented/reserved weren't in the truck, but I didn't realize this until I was home. It was removed from my bill though, thanks to an excellent customer service representative via the website's chat feature (thanks, Bethane!). I'd say the online check-in feature could be improved by having customers ensure that they received all of the other items they rented for the move as well.

I was charged for an accident that I did not do. This is so unprofessional and horrible customer service. Nobody tended to me either. So disappointed and will never use uhaul again. Damage coverage is a joke, it did not cover the scratch that was already there from before I rented the van.

I booked online for contactless pick up 9am on a Sunday. 9 20-30 AM and still the Uhaul app does not allow me to take the truck (because after you submit tge requirements on app, you have to wait for approval which took mine forever). So in the end, I still lined up inside. When I'm taking it back to the drop off area (same location), this guy named David/Davis african american guy is the nastiest human being I ever met. Am having difficulty understanding your ghetto accent and instead of trying to help me understand, you have the audacity to mock me (Im asian btw). Somebody deserves your job more whoever you are. Dont go to this place, save yourself from any stress.

I was assigned a new uhaul cargo van when the uhaul employee saw me pick up the van he made up some story that the van was dirty and that I didnt want it after waiting for 10 minutes for him, he returned to me with a new receipt for an old cargo van. During those 10 minutes I looked in the “dirty” van and it seemed completely clean to me. I'm not sure why he did this but I really did not appreciate this and I will not be coming back.

UHAUL facility was great for the time we utilized the services. Fortunately, we were able to find an onsite location on the airport grounds and as a result, no longer needed said services. Since the beginning, nearly 4 months ago, the staff at this location (U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Woodside), specifically, Ms. Nas Mathews, has been an absolute gem to work with. I will definitely refer anyone in need of storage to not only sign with UHAUL, but to specifically use UHAUL of Woodside. I know if given the opportunity and need, I would!! Thank you all. Nas, the general manager of this location is an absolute superstar. There was a very high stress situation that occurred on the property and she handled it very well. I work in the hospitality industry, and I understand the stress she must have been feeling, and she took care of everything. We rented a van and storage unit and everything went smoothly. The only thing I would recommend for the higher ups is to re do parts of the floor in the stoarage area, there are some cracks and imperfections that cause the carts to get stuck which can damage the items on the carts if they fall or shift. Word of advise, get there early if you are renting a vehicle. Uhaul needs to contact a few different people to confirm your identity and for security before they can hand you the keys. This process took us about 15 minutes, but if there’s a lot of people on line, that time will add up. Also, if you are loading things from your car late night around 9pm, park on the left side of the building Or make sure you can’t get boxed in if other people are dropping off their vehicles. We got boxed in but it was at the end of our rental anyway so it worked out. We would definitely rent from them again. Nick P

Overall, I was satisfied with the van rental, picking up the van at Johnson city was a pleasant experience. The personnel in Johnson city were courteous and helpful, but my experience at the BQE location when renting the store locker was not what I expected. The lady that help me wast courteous, she took too long, the information that she need should have in the system, and when she need my information couldn’t even ask me in a pleasAnt manner, also it would be nice to explain where was my locker, how to properly open/get access, no I had to figure it out on my own, and ask another customer, I would suggest to give more trading to the lady that attended me. As for the person who received he van back, he was very helpful and explained me all that I need to do, as it should be, for that I want to thank him and the person in Johnson city as for the lady I think she can do better with proper training.

I am still awaiting a call back from customer care and upper management. I spoke to the manager Naj over 2 months ago and she promised a callback the next day because of false promises regarding the product I would receive. She did not! I left dozens of messages and even came in again several times and still she did not call. Finally she called this past Mon. after I had spent literally hours on the phone trying to get customer care and escalate., offered no reason or apology for not fulfilling her promise to call back or adjust things and blaming me with a very rude and abrupt tone, interrupting me and talking over me. When I asked why she had not called back, she interrupted agaon and said rather dismissively "so you want me to escalate?! Ok I'm going to escalate it." I still have not heard from ANYONE. The manager on site there, Naashiha Matthews, was completely un professional and does not take her job serious. She got upset with me because I was making suggestions on to how to resolve an issue of mine, and said she just didn't wanna give me a truck. I guess maybe she felt she was looking incompetent. I was just trying to come up with a solution for a reservation that I paid for. I think I have a right to ask questions. She just didn't have any answers for them, so she got defensive, and then retaliated because she thought she could get away with it. She told her staff member to cancel my reservation right in front my face out of spite. She behaved completely classless. She has no business running a store.

This facility is ridiculous. We were mistakenly charged $3,000 for a truck rental (when the charge was $300.) It took more than 5 phone calls of an average of 20 minutes in length to fix the mistake.
