Make sure employees follow through on prepping a unit for renting. I rented two units and one was still in use when my movers tried to load the unit. Also make sure locks are in unit.Carol W.
Possibly have more staff on hand for Saturday mornings. The 2 staff members were doing a great job from what I saw but there was a line 4 deep at 8:30 when I was there. When it was my turn, everything was handled quickly and efficiently.Andrew C.

Its not the location I had problems with...it was the whole uhaul system I would rate a 1 star. No one seemed to know what was going on, we had to manage alot of it ourselves...i.e. coordinate the pick up with the uhaul movers and link people together so we could get our boxes on time. Every time we called, it was like the first time someone was dealing with a uhaul box.Jarrett E.

I was charged for the cleaning, mean why, I just used the truck to pick up a mattress almost new one. The truck was clean when I dropped it. I will appreciate it if my $25 can be refunded back to my card because no one is picking up my call.Temitope F.
While we were there the alarm went off twice - from someone who unlocked their unit without checking in. It made me wonder what happens when the alarm goes off. No one came to check those units. I was not aware there was a $20 dollar fee for afterhours drop off eventhough i informed them I would drop off at night. That $20 fee was more expensive than my base rental and if known I would have rented the equipment for one more day at less then the "fee". I guess lesson learned for the next time.Patrick W.

Our circumstances put us in a position to need a van.We rented it back to back weekends for approximately 24-30 hours each. The round trip mileage was approximately 800-850 total (220 one way). Our total cost was approximately $600. TOO EXPENSIVE!!PHILIP D.

Cleanliness & Saftey: The front & back windshield was extremely dirty & very difficult to see out of when sun hit it. The interior of the truck had an oder like some type of food. Communication: We were stuck in traffic due to a terrible accident & attempted to call 30 minutes before the return time to inform that we might be late returning the truck. The wait for a representative was 45-50 minutes. So, we went to the live chat & typed in our message & it typed back that the chat doesn't work with this location, so, we found another chat & it didn't work either, so, I did a response email from my confirmation email. At the out set, I would like to highlight that this location staff were nice and courteous. The first truck they gave had a shattered right side mirror. I asked them to get a different truck and they did offer me one and I thank them for accommodating my request. However, they did not update the contract to reflect the time lost in exchanging the trucks (40 minutes) in the time to return the truck. I did also inform them that the actual mileage on the truck is one mile more than what is listed in the contract and I did input the correct mileage online, but they still charged me for the extra mile ($0,99). It was a nightmare! I'm still getting random emails for uboxes that have been Returned. Some one in customer service randomly canceled my original order my things arrived late. They were stuck at a faculty almost an hour away from my home. I received my goods a week later than expected. The moving helpers were extremely unprofessional. Location great, but the truck was horrible. The air conditioner wouldnt work while driving on the freeway. 6 hours of no A/C in the south is pure torture. When the truck was idling it would work, but the moment your get on the freeway it turned off and never turned back on AT ALL. I want a partial refund for my $400+ truck rental.Ryan M.

The truck was one of the worst I have ever rented. When you apply the brakes the steering wheel would pull hard to the right. At different speeds there was vibrations that I am not sure if they came from the wheels or drive train. The seat was very uncomfortable. Process went smoothly for the most part. U-Box is definitely the most economical box system for moving I have found. Only issue I ran into was that I didn't realize I had to schedule a self pickup time +/- 24 hours beforehand. It would have been nice to be reminded of that via email. I can't say enough about this place! I needed to rent 3 big units and set up auto draft payments. Dillan was so friendly and helpful and got me units as close together as possible. Wyatt came in and helped out when it got real busy. Both young men did their jobs with smiles and offered their help when needed. Lori , the general manager, was so nice also. -My official Move-out date is incorrect. The storage unit was clear as of 1/20/22. -The first day I moved into the unit, my belongings were swarmed by ants. My box was lost, I was charged an extra $1400 on accident, I repeatedly asked for other cards to be removed from the account, they weren't removed and they were charged again, I closed my account and was still charged again (on one of the cards I have asked to be removed countless times, as it is not my card). I have had multiple problems in three different states with three different U-Haul and each time was disappointing and honestly, I could put together a lawsuit for all the mismanagement of my account and belongings, as well as emotional distress. I will never recommend any U-Haul facility to anyone I know. In fact, I will go out of my way to make sure everyone knows about the experiences I have had over the past two years. Customer service was good but sometimes it was hard to get someone on the phone and the wait time when going into the facility was long as there was never anybody up front. They were always in back. Also, I cleaned out my storage unit on 8/21/21. I turned in my card and took my lock I purchased off the door. The manager was not there so I was told that they would handle the closing of my agreement. A week later I received an email stating I was behind on my payment (8/22/21). I responded to the email that I had cleared out my storage unit a week earlier. This survey says I cleared it out on 8/26/21 which is untrue. I am reporting this just in case I'm charged for days that I didn't use. Other than that, this facility was clean and convenient. The employees were nice and knowledgeable. The staff made all the difference. There is a Public Storage less than 5 minutes away whom I've used from time to time, but your staff is much more helpful and I will use U-haul going forward because of their Service. Please let Store Manager and staff know of their great service. In fact, I have used another U-haul facility's truck rental service because of my previous experience when I rented a moving van from this location. Great Job Team!Nancy B. | Expérience générale
