Several times when I needed to speak with someone at the Woodstock, Ga location my call was transferred to another location. Once I spoke with someone in New York State. I understand when Woodstock was busy but would have preferred to leave a message than to talk with someone in n another state who could not help me. After the first time this happened I would ask for the store location before launching into my question. Hope this has been changed as it was very inefficient.

CASSANDRA Y. | Overall ExperienceTwo issues I had was not being informed about the different sizes of a 5x10. The example in office showed a high ceiling but when I went to unit it was a 6ft ceiling. Not acceptable. Then I wasn't completely informed on how the access card worked. Wasn't told I had to swipe in and again swipe out when finished. I set off alarm a couple of times. Also why doesn't the hanger door does not stay up when unloading and loading. Almost caused damage to my jeep.

Fortunately, the excellent team of employees at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Woodstock location have provided me with service of the utmost caliber, which I appreciate immensely.
Paul P. | Overall ExperienceI do not recommend the actual unit I had. Narrow hallway, smaller door and low ceiling. Kinda looked like an old solitary confinement cell I saw at Alcatraz, but clean.
JANET Hull N. | Overall ExperienceI actually had a horrible experience BUT no fault of U-Haul employees and not really corporate - an odd mix of circumstances with misunderstanding. I have a classic car I was transporting to GA from FL and reserved a 10x20 indoor unit - I explained to the phone rep that the car was not operational and was really car parts (no engine connected, no gas tank, no fluids). The reservation was accepted. When I got to the location the associate said they could not allow the car and explained they had issues with people working on vehicles inside the units. I understood and explained I do not need the key, and do not need access to the car for a few weeks when I come back with my move (we took the car first, looked at houses) he did see the car was not operational but still could not accept. He went out of his way to locate an outside space for me - he probably spent 15 minutes of his time to help me. I had my wife and newborn with me and was somewhat hectic and mildly dangerous towing this car through the hills of Woodstock GA. I did suggest they consider a new policy with vehicles (I am sure there are thousands that would love to store inside vs outside) where the customer only has access to the unit with an employee present (no after hour access) which I think would work well for everyone is set up properly and fill empty storage spaces quickly. Anyway, he found me an outside spot at a location. 20 minutes away and it went ok. The space is not coveted overhead and I am sure it will suffer some damage but I am hoping it will be ok. The employees at Woodstock were helpful and friendly also.

ARMANDO G. | First ImpressionsThe facility is really nice and clean and convenient. But I had a couple issues. 1) It was a struggle to find carts for loading/unloading. It seems there are only 3 carts for the entire building, and even on this slow weekday with only a few people going in/out, there was competition and waiting for them. I'm hoping this gets resolved soon as I'll be moving out on a much busier weekend day. 2) I'm disappointed none of entry pads allows you to open the sliding doors after office hours. It's really challenging to move anything large through a normal doorway.

So I purchase 1 in office for $20. When I got my storage a lock already in storage. When I call Customer service I was told I would get my $20 back. But when turn truck key in she said no refund. But overall I will recommend uhaul.
