This location is always slow at the counter even when I take care of all the paperwork online prior to arrival . Also when i dropped off I was told to leave the vehicle and I would receive a text when it checked in . I never received the text now going on two days.Mark C.

It was not the best experience. I had booked appliance dolly and cart with truck but at the time of pick up, I was told that they were not available. Also the air conditioning in truck did not work and I had to drive in 89 degrees without AC. I deserve some compensation for these issues.Yatish C.

The customer representative in Worcester was very helpful over the phone and then in person. I will use this location again. I initially rented a utility trailer from your Northborough MA location (Bearfoot Rd). It was not available for pickup at my reserved time (6-25-22, 12;15pm). The representative here was absolutely no help at all. He showed no motivation to help the customer. He did not try to find me a trailer from a nearby location. He just gave me an 800 number. I asked if he could call the Worcester locations and he said they are probably busy. Suggested I just use the 800 number. I left, found the phone number for the Worcester location and called myself. The woman at this location understood my issue and reserved a trailer for me. The person is Northborough MA also did not arrange for me to get the $50 credit I am owed when my guaranteed reservation can not be filled. Later I called the 800 number and was told that he should have arranged this credit. This person in Northborough MA should not be interfacing with customers as he shows no initiative to help them.Andrew K.

The rental process was good, and the employee at check-in was polite and helpful. There was an unclear marker on the level of gas, and when I returned the difficult-to-drive truck (the steering should be tightened), I was charged for five gallons of gas @ $6/gallon for having driven 20 miles TOTAL. While I understand that renters need to replace the gas used, there was NO WAY I used six gallons for 20 miles.Caren S.

I should have read the contract, but the person only mentioned the $6,5 per gallon and never the $30 surcharge. I've used uhaul many times, always returned the truck with gas as needed, however, because gas is $5 and you charge $6,5 I didn't think much of it. Then I got charged $30. Your parking situation is awful. Seems you have a very large lot for equipment but no place for people to park their cars except across a busy street. If I'm taking a piece of equipment off the lot, why can't I park my car where that equipment was parked. Crossing SHREWSBURY street is dangerous. Fine discretion of having the equipment be picked up within an hour. Paid double of what I would cause of the equipment not being available as I was a lil lateWasequr R.
The virtual pick-up process was poor at this location. When I opened the lockbox to retrieve the key, it was empty. I went inside the location to inquire about the key and waited in line for 20min. A customer cut in front of me, and instead of asking the customer to step aside/wait for their turn, they were allowed to be helped first. When I got to the counter, a different attendant had the key in her hand and was going to rent the van to a different customer. The attendant that was helping me had to stop her. The return process was smooth and effortless. The attendant was quick and courteous.John S.
I rented this U-Haul on May 22nd at 9 AM and returned it 7 minutes late the same day at 5:07 PM. For some reason, the employees at this location recorded into the system that I returned the U-Haul on June 5th - so my card was charged $700! I got charged 1 full day when I returned my rental within the 24 hr time period. Then called customer service and spoke with Dawn Mckelvain who could only give me a partial refund when I got over charged. I should only have to pay for the extra miles over my original contract. I shouldn't have to pay for more taxes when I didn't use the rental for another day. This place is a scam to get the customers to pay extra when they shouldn't have to. The MOST INCONVENIENT thing about this storage facility is NO ELEVATOR in the entire building! My unit is on the second floor, so everything had to be carried up stairs. Which, of course, means it will all have to be cartied back down stairs when it's moved out. The Belmont Street, Worcester site has consistently refused to serve me. I am disabled and walk with a cane, and I had to rely on my husband to reserve a large unit for our temporary storage purposes. When we visited this week to close out the unit, we were refused an inspection of the unit and a receipt for the closeout even though the home said we could have these, and even though we were paid up. There were no other customers in the store or on site when we were there, and there were two employees on the clock and available who were not busy - one was simply organizing a stack of boxes. But both refused - repeatedly - to walk across the street to our unit with us to inspect the unit so that we could remove our lock without worry of unauthorized use. We also were refused a receipt for closeout, and told we had to return in 4 hours when the storage facility clerk would be in. This site was great on customer service for years, but this year, the service under new management has been extremely poor. I have observed that customers who complain or speak up at the site are yelled at and refused service by the clerks. There is no excuse.Johanna L. | Expérience générale
