The process for returning vehicles after hours is poor. I have an iPhone and enabled location services for Safari but didn't realize that location services have to be enabled via the privacy menu. I spent 20 minutes on hold before I finally reached someone who told me this. It needs to be printed and handed out. Also you need more staff on the phones.

This is my first trailer rental. Maybe mention on the website or wherever that one may need an adaptor for the lights, so they don't have to buy another one. I realize more experienced users may know this, but it never occured to me, and others I'm sure.

Originating station put in wrong drop off location (I asked for East Petersburg) so I had to drive to Mt Joy which was shut down and then call customer service to change the location to East Petersburg and then drive back there again. Wasted an hour.

This experience from a customer relations stand point was one of the worst I have ever had. The employees were negative and unorganized. The counter area was a complete mess. They lost the key to our rental and spent 10 minutes looking for it. We had rented the truck to return at 7 PM. The associate informed us that it didn't matter, we had to return it at 5 because that is when they closed because someone broke into their lock box and stole one of their trucks so they stopped after hours returns. So why did you take the reservation then??? Also, he forgot to give us the hand truck we rented so we had to remind him. The remote check in didn't work so we had to go into the office. The employee said “yeah, it's hit or miss...”. Also, employee did not wear mask when he checked us back in before 5. Do not use this location. It's awful.

The estimated amount I got when I originally reserved the vehicle was a good amount cheaper than what I was actually charged -- and that's with me factoring the mileage in! I wish I had saved the information to show the person at the counter, but I only had my reservation number. I don't know what happened, but I was not very pleased by this. Maybe I missed something when I put in the estimates, etc., but I had double-checked anything, so I really don't think that was it. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful; I was just very frustrated by the extreme difference in price.

It was our first time renting a truck. It would have been nice if the lady walked us out to the truck and went over some things with us. We had to find the truck on the lot. Wasn't sure how to open the back. This store just lacks in customer service.

The longer haired guy was quick courteous and efficient running the shop effectively alone on a busy Sunday when I returned the trailer. It was impressive to watch him manage a continuous stream of 3-4 rotating returns at any given time without issue. On pickup I was helped by a woman named Alexis- she was fast, kind, & knowledgeable as well. She hooked my motorcycle trailer up with no issues all the way to Muncy, up a mountain and back. Also was so sweet that if she wasn't working I would've asked her for her number! 10/10

Dan got me signed in and hooked up to the utility trailer in no time. No fuss, no muss, he knew exactly what he was doing. When I dropped off the trailer, (different person) it was so quick and easy, I didn't even get his name to be able to properly thank him!

Tell customer that the ignition is tricky before they go out and try to start the truck. Evidently some models are known for this. This will avoid customer feeling frustrated and thinking they were given the wrong keys.

The only issue I had was when I went to refill the gas tank I ended up filling the tank because the gas gauge did not move until I drove 2 miles, so I ended up paying an extra 25 dollars for nothing.

I was not happy that my original reservation could not be honored. We lost a day of travel because there wasn't a trailer available at the reservation time. This is very frustrating with a reservation made weeks in advance.

Very busy there. Only one person working at the time. Did not have the 8ft truck there for me. It was out and a customer still had it. I reversed it 2 days ahead of time. The 15ft van they gave me was overkill for what i wanted to do. They did in it to me at the 8ft truck rate.

When I went to get the truck I had issues with the app, including waiting over 15 minutes past my reservation time for my information to be approved. Employees were not wearing masks. As far as the app was concerned I was able to leave without verifying the odometer, fuel level, and pictures. Truck seat was very torn up and there was some trash left in the cab. Drop off was even worse. I returned after hours to find the key drop dangling off the wall, and nowhere to leave the keys. Spent 15 minutes on hold waiting for customer service and another 15 minutes working on a resolution.

The 17' truck reserved and guaranteed was not available. No assistance was offered (well a little assistance - characterized as a weak effort). "Sorry there is nothing I can do" when one is all set to move is to project an "I do not care attitude"

Great customer service. Jordan was truly outstanding in assisting us getting a truck for our cross country move. Can't say the same for the poor customer service at U-Haul.com. Go to your local agent if you want a good experience. Skip the long wait on the 800 number. Couldn't believe those at HQ would not give us a pick up location until the day before the move. That's totally unsatisfactory. Thanks again Jordan for going out of the way to get us what we needed when we needed it.

In the middle of a pandemic and none of the staff seem to think a mask is important. Pretty scary to have to do business there. Put a mask on at least when customers are in the store and in close proximity.
