I've used this location a few times in the past and I think at this point I can honestly say I won't bother with other shops. This one has everything needed and every time I've been here, the staff is polite, attentive, and always helpful. There are pick up locations closer to the city but this one is worth driving the extra miles.

I would suggest better customer care - isnâ€™t the â€œcustomer always rightâ€, especially when he is? Two consecutive bad experiences at this location and with this particular manager (Daniel Dull). The only reason I went back here is that the site is open on Sunday and is nearby my location. 1) first instance, rented a truck, put 16 miles on it, put one gallon of gas in it afterwards and offered my gas receipt as proof - wasnâ€™t considered and I received an extra bill for about $8, for gas. 2) this time, I returned the truck on time (after hours) and tried to use the Uhaul automated system to save the $20 fee (for not using the system). It didnâ€™t let me create an account (wouldnâ€™t accept my email address). After 15 minutes in the cold trying to do this, I called the Georgia â€˜call locationâ€˜ (spoke with a very helpful Marjorie). I donâ€™t feel I should be charged the $20 fee, since your system did not work for me, and not for my not trying (ended up â€œspinning my wheelsâ€ - lot of time and wasted effort). Iâ€™m surprised that customer service is sacrificed for a gallon of gas (mismarked gas gage reckoned against the odometer), and a faulty registration system that didnâ€™t work. I thought my call with Marjorie might be proof enough of this last problem. I will not use that location again with this particular â€˜hardâ€™, unbending management. Ripped me off for $8 + $21 over my two rentals. Thank you. Greg Smith 717-917-0812

When picking up my reservation, the equipment I ordered was not provided initially. Had I not checked, I wouldn't have had a furniture dolly. When I told the agent, they immediately out a dolly in the truck. However, when I checked to verify the second time, I found they out the wrong dolly on the truck. It was an upright instead of a furniture style. When told again, they did finally get the right one in the truck. They made it right, but was a hassle to get what should have been on the truck from the start.

I was not allowed by u-haul policy to rent a 10-foot truck two days in a row over the weekend. This meant that I had to come back at end of day one to return 10-foot truck and switch to a 9-foot van. No reason given for policy but very inconvenient and Ieft me to use a vehicle which was undersized for my job. Told others of this uhaul policy and no one could believe it.

The representative took the key and went to check the van but it was unclear when the staff were finished with us and we were done. The staff did not say anything about the $50 credit for the Reservation Guarantee. The person in Charlotte told us it was to be processed on return of the equipment.

The gentleman I believe his name was Nick but see who wrote the contract so you get it right.he went above and beyond the call of duty. I am a business owner and if half my employees had the customer service skills and knowledge he had about your business. I would be a very happy business owner.
