Make it clear that you will charge for bringing the truck back not as clean as uhaul wants it. There was so much confusion about price it was frustrating.

I spent at hour at uhaul answering the same questions repeatedly during the check in process after already reserving the truck. These questions should have been asked at the time of reservation. I kept being asked the same questions I had already provided answers to. You need to fix the check in system and also provide a warning that the check in process needs to be started far in advance of when someone needs the vehicle.

General Manager was very rude and talked down to customers regarding social distancing. All 4 customers In the store were wearing masks, paying attention to the floor markers so I'm not sure what his deal was, but very rude and completely unnecessary. Completely unacceptable from someone in his position and poor example on how to treat customers. Outside of his behavior the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.

The car hauler I rented had brakes that were not in proper adjustment. While unloaded, the trailer would lock up with anything more than a firm press in the brake pedal. This would cause a surge that made the tow vehicle less predictable. I told the attendant of the issue and was brushed off. I am not new to towing - surge or trailer brake. The trailer needs service before another renter uses it .

U-haul did not correctly fill out my contract (through no fault of my own), so upon arrival my movers went to the wrong pickup location (hired through U-haul) and ultimately abandoned the job. U-haul forced me to spend more money to find movers same-day. I will be seeking compensation. Terrible experience.

Look, I'm never going to 'recommend' Uhaul. The rental business model is crushingly bureaucratic, frustrating, and blatantly designed to trick me into paying for unnecessary extra things. The idea that the 'minimum payment' for debit and cash is $60 is an outrageous money grab towards poorer folks, and I do not understand how it is legal.

The sign in the back of the truck said that if the truck was not swept and/or packing blankets folded, a $25 charge would be incurred. I decided to pay this charge rather than fold 60 packing blankets. However when I informed the person who processed my return, he said ok, but then a co-worker overheard us and said the charge would be $1per blanket folding charge! Your sign in the truck was misleading.

They're very efficient. Check in and check out was very quick and easy. In fact, when I returned the truck, a female employee met me as soon as I stopped, and by the time I was at my vehicle and ready to go, she was right there to tell me I was all set. Like I said; very efficient.

Hire enough workers. A long wait to speak with anyone. No one acknowledges you as you stand there for 3 minutes.... The "remote" way to go pick up your truck in the parking lot and check for damage yourself and mark in on the app is not very user-friendly. It was unclear what type of damage is already noted by UHaul and the pictures on the app didn't really have any details, just the truck from different sides.... Felt impersonal and questionable. Also, when the reservation was made in one name, we were told anyone can pick it up. When we had someone pick it up, they re-did the whole reservation on their name and made them pay - it would have been good to know upfront what to expect. Poor communication.

Just warn folks to be extra careful getting vehicles out of the parking lot and onto Wadsworth. Traffic moves fast and visibility is poor. Maybe install a mirror at the exit to help with this?

The equipment was great, good condition. The prices were right. The location itself was clean. My reason for low stars was that the general manager was extremely hard to deal with, sarcastic jokes, harsh tones, acted annoyed that we were there in general. We were in a pinch for moving day and as if moving day wasn't stressful enough it just really put a damper on our day that his attitude was so brash.

My box was delayed, and I didn't receive any information about that. On the delivery date, nobody knew where the box was, why it was delayed or when it would have arrived. They just told me "could be today or in 4 days". The U-HAUL local facility told me they would have called as soon as the box arrived. Nobody called. After two days waiting, I went to the local facility, and I found out it was since at least the day before. Nobody called me. Last but not least, before going to the facility I called the Contact us number and they had no idea where the box was. They said the delivery was scheduled 5 days later, while, as I said, it was there since the day before.

Very helpful. I had left my driver's license at this location. I was called within 10 minutes that I could stop to pick up my license and it would be at their desk with my name for pick up!

I had a very negative experience at this location a year ago (I was charged for pre-existing damage that I did not see during my initial examination of a pickup truck) and only used this location due to it's proximity to my house.

Disclose your closing times to customers because the self-checkout was impossible on a phone with a low battery. Don't overcharge for gas, I was charged $40 for gas, which I refilled, for only driving $40 miles. Super lame.

I walked in without a reservation with no expectations, and they said they had nothing that fits my needs available. So in their parking lot, I called up another u-haul place and the customer rep there managed to figure out what had happened, and told me they actually did have what I needed available! So I walked back in and had an awkward conversation about it, which took a good ten to twenty minutes because their system was "confusing." When I finally got the key, I had to take full pictures of every corner I could to represent the actual condition of the vehicle, which was far worse than what was shown on the site. It felt like I could easily be scammed out of hundreds of dollars if I didn't have adequate proof, so I took pictures on my own phone as well.

Do not commit to renting trucks when you do not have them in stock and available. My need should not depend on another persons ability to drop their truck off on time. There should always be available inventory for those in need.

It cost me $279 to take a trailer from CO to WI. And then it cost $466 to take that same trailer with the same mileage from WI back to CO. Get fucked Uhaul. You also make us take it for 5 days when we only needed three. You have a monopoly on this industry and you take advantage of people. I talked to 2 people at this location that advised it would be cheaper to drop off and re-rent the trailer than it would be to keep it for 13 days straight. I highly doubt that as the return cost was so ridiculously inflated.

This was one of the worst and most frustrating customer experiences I can remember for years! Not the fault of the location. The problem was the digital experience. I used the online reservation and app for a touch less pickup. It took 42 minutes to pick up the van! Should have been a 5 minute experience. Then you still expect me to return in the 4 hour time window when I lost the better part of an hour To pick up! The verification process was stupid and caused huge delays. Other people walked in off the street with no reservation and were helped while I fought with an app that hung up and was totally non-intuitive. Do you guys actually test your software? It's virtually unusable.

Drop off at about 3Pm took entirely too long. Only 2 people at the counter averaging about 10-15 minutes per customer with about 7-8 people in line. Do the math. Finally just left the equipment and paperwork and left. However, aside from that was a good experience. Would recommend and use again.

Seems two employees were on duty, one left the office and the remaining employee was on the phone with what sounded like an indecisive caller. People had to wait outside as the line was getting longer and no one was being helped. Not good during the pandemic. When called to a window, the employee was very courteous and knowledgeable.

After spending a half an hour on the phone, talking to six different people, I supposedly scheduled my UBox pick up for the next day. The next day, they still had no idea I was coming for pick up.
