I moved this box from Colorado to a storage facility in California where I left it for several months before having it moved to my new home about a half hour away. Figuring out the logistics between uhaul and moving help was an absolute nightmare. No one had any idea what has happening or where the box was going. And I paid for moving help in advance but the company went out of business before my final move and I did not get a refund. A very stressful and frustrating process from start to finish

We used a U-Haul Box container to move a box of household goods from California to New Jersey. I hired movers to load the box through the U-Haul app and the guys who showed up with the container and loaded it were fantastic. They packed it so well that when the container arrived in New Jersey not a single thing in the container had shifted. I highly recommend this form of shipping. I've used UHaul's big name competitor before with very bad results. U-Haul really did a great job for a much cheaper price. I highly recommend them.

First, I put in a reservation over a week ago to rent a 15'ft truck, a Utility dolly, furniture dolly, and 6 blankets. When I came in to pickup everything - YOU HAD NO UTILITY DOLLY'S! That's why I made the reservation! Your staff wasn't very friendly either. The move was stressful and difficult because I was moving UPSTAIRS! The furniture dolly was no help. I am very unhappy because I spent a lot of money moving! There were a couple of roaches in the truck...EGH!

The only bad thing was that the lock provided didn't have the correct key attached, so I needed to go buy a lock to padlock the back door. Mild inconvenience. But the place was super good.

Very disorganized. They started my contract and the agent walked away and didn't return. I waited fir 10 min and then another agent started to help and then told me they didn't have the van I reserved online. Then she printed my contact and said let's go outside because she gave me the Van that was for someone else and the keys are in the cup holder and she walked away. No keys to be found so I noticed the agent that started helping me first at the propane station so I asked him if he had the keys to the van and he said yes in my pocket. Wow!

No my trailer had stuff dried on the walls and on the floor. I took a blower to clean mine out. Maybe just a quarter cup of dirt n stuff. Staff was friendly and efficient considering the times at both pick up and drop off. Would need a power washer to really clean it out

There is a one way next to the store. I believe it's 43rd street. There is no ONE WAY sign when you are leaving the facility. Adding a sign there will prevent accidents or people exiting uhual and going the wrong way.

I Had made a reservation online. I was given a broken furniture dolly. The wheels had tape around them. There were on tie downs in the bag. Both of these items caused a difficulty with placing the furniture in the truck safely, and not having a functioning furniture dolly made transporting heavy items back breaking.

The employee who checked me out wasn't very competant. I spent way too much time there than I wanted. When moving the trailer to my truck, he hit my trailer with another trailer. “Oops.” He said. I took photos to ensure I didn't get charged for it. I also took photos of how DISGUSTINGLY dirty it was... inside and out. Absolutely filthy. If I had returned it in the condition I received it, I would have been fined. I was about to leave when I reminded him to remove the lock off the back. Yeah, that would've been a great way to start my trip... Trailer behaved great though. No issues.

I had a hold placed on my acct for 94.28 when I rented the truck. When I returned the truck next day within the 24 hrs I was charged 78.89. The original hold came off but there is still a hold for 34.67 on my account and no one can tell me why or when it will be removed

I was upset b/c I reserved a 20' truck at a location closer to where I needed it. I had to pay for an extra 25 or so miles when they told me the only 20' truck available was at this location. I asked the employee if I could get a credit for the difference in miles and I was told I had to take it up with the location I initially reserved with. Between gas/mileage it probably cost me an extra 40-50 dollars. Moving my mom to a new place was expensive and stressful enough. I really didn't want to argue. Besides that, the truck was clean, u-haul employee was awesome, experience was great. I was still able to keep my schedule. Returned the truck the same night and the employee I dropped it off with couldn't have made it easier. Thanks for being a good resource. I just wish I didn't have to pay the extra dollars.

The pricing for the uhaul was not as advertised and was expensive. Charged for the truck, per mile, and gas. What was a 2 hour trip cost almost 75 dollars.

Hello. Nestor helped me at the Adams Avenue U-haul in San Diego. He was outstanding. I realized when I got there, running late, that a golf cart wouldn't fit in the car carrier I had ordered. The wheels on the golf cart were to narrow. Nestor found me a utility trailer in the area and updated my reservation in minutes. Then when I asked if he could go one better and find me one that was actually on the route I was going to be driving he did that too. Kudos to Nestor. He sent me to the U-haul on El Cajon Blvd.San Diego. There I met Irene. She too was super helpful as was the yard guy who hooked me up and gave me directions, with a smile on his face. When I returned the trailer the following Sunday morning I was pretty bummed thinking I was going to be waiting in a 6 person line to just check in and do the return. When I asked a yard attendant if my rig was parked in a good place while I checked in he responded with " just give me a minute and I'll unhook you and you can be on your way. 5 minutes and i was on my way home. OUTSTANDING SERVICE from the get go. They made me a customer for life. P.S. I've probably done a follow up survey like this maybe twice in my entire life. that's it. Regards, Thomas G Chase

The vehicle I rented was dusty and the windows were hard to see through. After I got my rental, I took it to the car wash and washed it clean. It was far easier to clearly see through the windows and mirrors.

The website itself is terrible and not functional with Android. Customer service takes 15 it more to take a call. The keys were not where they were supposed to be and I had to wait on hold for at least 20 minutes to get someone who could give me a hint about where they actually were. Honestly, terrible experience and really bad service. I won't be recommending uhaul to anyone, ever.
