The truck didn't have a lock. So the guy from this uhaul location sold me one that didn't fit or didn't work. I was out time to take the lock back to exchange it. I expected that since he works there, he should know what kind of lock that fits the truck.MATTHEW A.

Some thoughts: the driver's side mirror was very loose, and we needed to duck tape it to keep it from swinging while we were driving. Also, l would consider putting a step up into the cab (either/both) sides of your vehicle. As a 5'4" woman, it was quite a "jump" to get into into the cab. There is a bar to pull yourself up, which l used. But a step would have helped. Outside these things, everything ran smoothly. I would recommend U-Haul to other people who are moving themselves.Naomi L.

For this location, I would say to have more workers. It seems like a lot of people waited until the last minute to come in and the 4 guys that were there were almost overwhelmed trying to maintain the trucks and vans AND tend to customers in the long line that accumulated , they did a really good job at juggling us though, but they could use some help. Terrible system for checking in customers, who just need to rent a van for an hour or so. Very long lines. Customer service people overwhelmed. The online check-in system is so user-UNFRIENDLY. Too much legalese and asks for too much data. People were great, but I'm heading to Home Depot next time. Change the check-in system, I'll reconsider.ROBERT B.

Customer service definitely need some help. The Guy who helped me this time was unable to help me I had to continue to wait for the mobile order which was taking well over 30 minutes when it finally went through it gave me information that contradicted the information he had given me. He was very rude and was ignoring me at the counter. In the middle of our conversation he picked up the phone and started calling a different customer who hadn't brought back the van. If I went in there and he was working I would turn around and walk out. He was definitely having a bad day.Angelina G.

Good experience, however, there was an issue with closing it out and I was briefly charged for a 'wrong drop-off location' in Louisiana, when I dropped the trailer off in San Diego 24 hours after picking it up. I had to go to the location again to get it cleared up - I couldn't get thru on the phone on a Friday. Otherwise, once everything was explained, Jessie took care of me and handled everything quickly. I still like the tech though - phone notification of the closest drop-off, etc. The transaction was easy and good.LYNN M.

The El Cajon location and staff were great. They were fast and helpful. Your site/app user interface and reservation system is horrible. I have had my last 4 reservations moved or cancelled in some way. You got me to trust you again by guaranteeing 50 $if my truck was not available. You called my 30 minutes before my reservation and asked my to drive 45 minutes away to get it from a different location. I had to get a smaller truck to avoid the drive. I assume I wont see that 50 $. I would never use your company again if you didn't pretty much have a monopoly in most areas. Seems like you have some decent people running you locations but a terrible system for reservations!Nathan B.

the kid that help me was ass hole and not helpful i paid cash and stoped in the next day to tell him i was keeping truck one more day at 35$ i put up a cash deposit 100 he said i could not put up my cridet card because it was pre paid . then after i broucht back the truck he called me and said i owed 40 i said ok i will be in but now youi have gone into my prepaid card twice and have taken 25900 plus my 100 what the fuck you suck. i will see you in courtBENNY C.
I got to the location and the app told me I needed to go to anther location 20min away! When I got to the other location I could not drop off the truck because it was downtown San Diego and the location was closed. I couldn't find a way to do the drop off so I went back to the original one. What a pain! I was on hold for an hour waiting for someone to help me. No one answered. The next day I was able to get a hold of some from the place where I dropped it off. They were very nice and made sure everything was fine with the drop off. I would suggest you get someone to work on making the app more user friendly. I sucks.Jill W.

I asked for a return location when I made my appointment. I was advised to drop the truck off at any uhaul location in San Diego. I drove to 3 places and no location would let me turn the truck in. Final I called uhaul again and they told me a return location. This should have been given to me when I made the appointment. Instead I got to drive all across San Diego. Again, the absolute worst experience and I would never use your service again.STEVEN F.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Three days to do a 1 1/2 hour job. Very unorganized lost record of first appointment, forgot to do my car on second appointment and then finally got job done on third day. Never got me the part I requested and he promised.diana B.
